and if he is in classes he might not be able to talk when he wants. I've run into times when I am about to send a message and I am forced to put my phone away with out sending anything.

i run into this problem all the time when I use my phone. the site will list someone as being on when they are not. there is a enough of a time gap from your message to his last message to me that I don't think he saw you. I thin the site was ghosting. I really do run into this everyday both here and on the sister site I'm on. both regarding me and other friends. I have spent several nights crying myself to sleep thinking the same thing you are thinking, when the fact was they had already logged off several minuets before i sent them a message. He really is upset that he missed you last night. I am not trying to bull shit you I am just stating facts. I have seen someone 'online' as long as 20 minuets after I know they logged off.
