Well. Lord of the rings, Harry Potter, Eragon, Artemis Fowl. Basically all the major fantasy's of the last fifty years or so. XD
The only one I own with a female lead is 'His dark materials'. Beautiful book, read it if you haven't already.
Mostly I read classics and Irish literature, I'm a bit old fashioned.
I must get round to reading that!

That happens to be the last book I bought.
I was in a charity shop and it caught my eye. I recognized the name and cover as one that an old friend from grammar school used to read me small passages of.
I also gathered from the blurb that it had a female protagonist, which seems rare in a fantasy book, thus I bought it.
Is it any good?

Frozen? Hrm. Curious. Are you frozen by time? Fear? Frost?
Or perhaps you're not frozen at all, just growing so slowly that speedy creatures would sooner say you aren't moving at all, never changing and near immortal.
And a prince? So it's royalty then...
You give some importance to hierarchy, but not quite enough to be a king.
