Viz's Discription: A half-demon, half-human hybrid, Inuyasha has dog-like ears and a thick mane of white hair, and demonic strength. Hoping to increase his demonic powers, he once stole the Shikon Jewel from a village, but was cast into a fifty-year sleep by the arrow of the village priestess, Kikyou, who died as a result of battle. Now, he assists Kagome in her search for the shards of the Jewel, mostly because he as not choice--a charmed necklace allows Kagome to restrain hiim with a single word.
Forms
Half-Demon: This is his "normal" form. Hig dog-ears is what sometimes gives him away about being a half-demon. Though, in battle, he fights just as hard as any other demon with his sword, Tetsusaiga, or his claws.
Human: He is reverted into a mortal on the fight of the new moon, or the first night of the month. During this time, he loses his super-human strength, claws and fangs. He is unable to transfrom the Tetsusaiga due to his loss in demonic powers.
Demon: After Tetsusaiga is broken and repaired, his life depends on his strength and will while holding onto the sword. If his life is in danger and he does not possess the sword, his body will burn with a strong desire to live, thus triggering his demonic blood. His eyes turn blood red, has two purple markings on his face and his claws are longer in length. He loses himself and will strike at will.
