Lindy felt himself blush a little. "So... you remember last night?" he asked. It sounded like Ken had been totally right. He'd basically cheated on Ken with his ex. A tear dripped down his face. He felt god awful. He just wanted to curl up in bed, but that wasn't going to happen.

Lint nodded his head, "Everything." He answered honestly before looking at him when he was crying. He hated seeing people cry as he curled closer to him and wrapped an arm around him, "I don't suppose we could be friends? After all this happened." He said as Lindy was having a pretty rough morning. "How about I treat you with something?" He smiled softly.
"I guess this makes you guys even." He repressed himself for commenting that he had a great time last night. Lindy doesnt need to hear that right now.

"I don't wanna be even," Lindy mumbled petulantly, wiping at his eyes. But as for being friends, he nodded. "I *hic* I don't see why not. Last night wasn't really your fault either, right?" At least, he hoped the other had been as drunk as him when it happened.

Lint nodded his head slowly when he heard the hiccup he came closer though not too close and rubbed his back comfortably, "yeah I was so so waisted." Lint chuckled softly. "I think we all were." He muttered with a nod.

Lindy nodded along. "God, it was such a stupid fight," he moaned. He'd really lost his temper. Ken had a right to be upset, and Lindy just lashed out at him. He felt like shit.

Lint looked at him and smiled softly, "Yeah all fights are pretty much. Even though when I broke up with him that was one time we fought. But I guess he really cares about you." Lint smiled softly before looking at him curiously, "Do you feel up for ice cream? I can treat you to something." He whispered.

Lindy scrubbed at his eyes again. "Isn't it a bit early for ice cream?" he said softly, giving the other a watery smile. He appreciated the sentiment though. It just made him feel like a little kid as a result. Plus, it made him think of his big brother. "Would coffee be alright instead?" Of course, now coffee made him think of Ken too. Oh well, he planned to get hot chocolate anyway.

Lint smirked form that question and whispered, "You look like you really need it." he whispered softly before looking at him when he asked for coffee he nodded his head, "Sure. Anything you want. Ill bring you to a cafe." He smiled softy. Knowing that it's usually Ken that likes doing this but they don't see him anywhere. He's not sure how Ken is handling with all this, but knowing him and his swimming habits. He's probably swimming.
Lint took his hand softly and walked with him to a cafe he knows.

Lindy felt really bad. He wished it was Ken's hand he was holding, but at the same time he didn't. He looked around the cafe a little. Yeah, he could really go for a hot chocolate.

Lint looked at him with a soft smile, not knowing what he's thinking as he brought him to the cafe and it smelt so good here. They had everything as he looked at Lindy and smirked, "Order whatever you want." He said before taking out money and looking at what he's craving.

Lindy just realized he didn't have his wallet on him. He felt embarrassed, not wanting some guy he hardly knew, that happened to be his brother's ex, to buy for him. But... he had offered... "Uh, a medium hot chocolate," he told the girl behind the counter.

"Sure coming right up." The girl said with a polite smile before looking at the familiar face she'd seen one so many times. "and for you?"
Lint smirked softly. "um a BLT sandwich with tea." He ordered before taking out cash, he noticed that their really good veggie chilli, but he prefers to eat that in the evening.
When the girl added up their sum, he paid and waited for their order.

Lindy waited next to him. "Uh, I'm not keeping you from anything, am I?" he asked softly. He'd stopped crying by now, though his eyes were still red. He really hoped he hadn't interrupted the other from something important. Come to think of it, what was his name again. "Lint, right?" he asked, blushing a little.

Lint looked at him and furrowed his eyebrows, "Um not really, I have work but I can reschedule to evening shift, since I work morning and evenings usually. My boss is flexible." Lint replied with a smile. BEfore the food came to them he smiled politely and gave Lindy his hot chocolate. BEFore grinning when he said his name like that, "yep! You're so cute when you say my name." He said as he took his own food.

Lindy nodded, glad the other wouldn't be getting into trouble because of him. He blushed a little at that, trying to hide it behind his drink. He was used to Ken teasing him and calling him cute, but Lint just seemed so sincere. "Uh, I'm Lyndon. Lindy for short." He wasn't sure how much Ken had told the other, so he should at least introduce himself.

Lint smirked softly as he bit into his BlT and started nomming slowly, despite Lindy trying to hide his blush he still noticed it, but this time decided not to tease so he just smirked softly from that, "aw Lyndon sounds like London." He smirked a little with a chuckle. "Nice to officially meet you."

Lindy smiled at that. "Most people just call me Lindy." He wouldn't mind being called Lyndon, but he was just used to Lindy. "Nice to meet you too." He took a longer draught of his drink. It was really good, actually.

Lint smirked softly and nodded his head, "okay Lindy it is." before noticing how much of a long swing he took making him smile more as he enjoyed his own cup of tea. "Like it?" He asked softly.

Lindy nodded. "It is really good. Thank you," he said softly. He looked at the other chowing down on his food. "Are the sandwiches good?"

Lint smirked when he asked about his sandwich, "yea they're awesome and the cheese is melted. Mm." He let out a short moan before looking at Lindy curiously, "want a bite?"

Well, Lindy thought that was a bit... intimate. Then again, they'd both dated the same guy, and apparently made out. "Yeah, if that's alright," he said with a small smile.

Lint waited for a reply and he was perfectly okay if it was a 'no'. Though to his surprise Lindy agreed to it so he placed his yummy sandwich close to his lips.
To strangers they probably look like a good couple.

Lindy took a bite of the sandwich, sitting back as he munched. He nodded. "This is good," he said around his mouthful of food, a hand up over his mouth so he didn't look like an utter slob. Lindy wasn't thinking about other people at all. He was just glad that he could relax for the first time this morning.

Lint smirked softly, "Maybe i should buy you this more often." He replied with a smile as he resumed on eating his breakfast. Lindy was a really cool guy, making him happy he could spend time with him. And keeping him company in the morning. Knowing it was rough.

Lindy blushed a little at that. He didnkt wat to sound ungrateful, but he didn't want to seem like he'd take advantage of the other either. So he said nothing, just drinking his hot chocolate. He kept thinking about Ken, and he had to stop himself from talking about him. That was not a topic that would be fun.

Lint observed the little guy and blinked his eyes slowly when he seemed to be more in thought, he figured he was thinking about his brother because of the fight they had this morning. But Lint decided to not make his time uncomfortable so said nothing as well, just finishing up his food and enjoying the silence.

Lindy finished his drink, seeing that the other had finished his food as well. He tried to think of something so that they weren't just sitting in silence. "Uh, so... you said you worked mornings and evenings. What do you do?" He gave the other a small smile. He liked having someone around. It made it easier to push Ken out of his head.

Lint leaned against his seat before looking curiously at Lindy as he looked like he was about to ask something. He smiled softly. "Im a vet." He grinned proudly before looking at him curiously, "what do you do?" He wondered if Lindy goes to school or has work.

Lindy blinked. "Wow, thatvmust be great work." He shrugged at the return question. "I'm still going to school, though I'm on summer vacation. I haven't really thought about getting a job yet." He felt a little bad, like he was being lazy, but he didn't know what to do.

Lint smirked softly and nodded his head, "Yeah it's the best." Before looking at him curiously and smirked softly, "ah cool, yeah those random days off were the best. Enjoy while it lasts." He said with a little smirk.

Lindy smiled. "I'd planned to." Now, he didn't know what to do. He felt uncomfortable going home just yet. But he didn't want to force Lint to spend time with him. He probably had better things to do with his day.

Lint chuckled softly before looking at the boy more curiously on what he plans to do, "So what are your plans for today?" he asked him quietly, he couldn't go to work just yet and beside he can work the hours in the evening. It was nice to feel like he took a morning shift off.

Lindy shrugged. "Whatever plans I may have had are kinda... out the window," he finished the last part softly. He didn't exactly think him and Ken had broken up... at least, he wasn't sure if they had. He should probably say as much to his brother later.

Lint looked at him and tilted his head, "ohh I'm sorry to hear that, Well I can take you out somewhere if you wish or we can go back to your house, if you wish of course?" He asked and smirked softly. Though he was sure it would probably be a bad idea considering Ken hates his guts even though he's not sure if Ken is inside the house.

Lindy laughed at that. "Oh yeah, I can just imagine that. Me, bringing you home, and running into Ken." He shook his head. "Thanks, but I'd definitely prefer to be somewhere else." He was a little surprised the other was fine with spending time with him.

Lint looked at him and chuckle,d "yeah true that would be a lot awkward if I run into Ken..again." Lint said with a little chuckle before looking at him curiously,"Well do you want to visit where I work? I promise my boss is super friendly." He chuckled softly

Lindy thought about it, before nodding. "That sounds like an alright plan. I would like to see that." He was kind of worried the other'd get drawn into work and he'd be awkwardly alone at the veterinary office. At least, that was where he assumed Lint worked.

Lint smiled softly and grinned softly, "okay, that's awesome. You'll see all kinds of pets that I get, I feel bad for them," He said before looking at him and grinning, "sometimes we let the pets rest in our office until they're ready to come back home."

Lindy smiled back. "You must be a real animal lover," he murmured. The other just lit up when talking about animals. He got up, stretching a little. "I'm ready to go if you are?"

Lint grinned a bit more and chuckled almost innocently, "You could say I am." He smirked softly before getting up as well and nodded his head, "Yep! I'm ready." He smirked softly before leaving the shop with Lindy and going to his work.
