Tim's brows furrowed a little and he was about to pinch his weak leg to see if he were telling the truth, but instead, he let go of Kobi and looked at the ground, "Oh...." He was trying to hide his disappointed expression, but he was doing a bad job at it. He tried forcing a smile, "You should ask Lou out, he's got the hots for you." He says, still staring at the carpet next to the couch and using his fingers to mess with it.
|
He could see that he was not happy with what he had said to him. He hated that look. He didn't know what he had said wrong. He thought that he would be happy with that. Thinking that he wouldn't fear that he would be clingy and needy. That he can be a free man. So his already sunken heart was sinking even deeper. Hearing from Tim that he should go out with Lou. He shook his head and sat up. Placing his hand on his chest. "But I don't want Lou. I only want you." he told him. "But if you want to date Lou...then I'm fine with that." he said. Again he wanted to scream no. But he thought that it would make Tim happy.
|
Tim looked a little angry and he looks at Kobi, "You wanted to have an open relationship! You're perfectly okay with sleeping with other people! I am, but I was hoping you'd tell me not to!" He grumbles, "Never mind, you probably don't care anyway...." He lifts Kobi enough so he can get up, "I'm going for a drive. Thanks for the date, it was fun." He kisses Kobi's forehead, but it wasn't loving like before.
|
A frighten expression came upon his face and when he was being pushed off. He got off and stood there. Looking at Tim. Listening to him telling him that he thinks that Kobi didn't care. He just froze. Even the kiss there was nothing there. It more like he had to do it. It wasn't because he wanted to. After Tim left and drove off to somewhere. Tears were rolling down the poor waiter's eyes and he quickly came crashing down to the floor, landing on his legs. He would of been screaming in from landing on his left leg so hard it he wasn't so emotionally upset. "What...what did I do? I thought he wanted that...I thought that wit me being okay with it he would be happy with me...but instead he's angry." he spoke to himself and was starting to sob. He was truly regretting not telling what was really on his mind.
About a half hour later. He had left the apartment with nothing but the clothes on his back. Limping around the city alone. He was very far away from there. Thinking that when Tim would of returned, he wouldn't want there. Kobi thought that it was actually over. The way that Tim spoke to him, the way he looked at him and the way that he kissed him. That all his love for him was actually gone. The only person that said that they actually loved him, was now gone. He felt so alone. He was in a city he had never been to before with no car to get back and no place to stay. The young waiter was feeling so small. He walked into a small cafe that was easy to miss and sat down Putting his arms on the table, burying his face and quietly cried. |
Tim was driving around, trying to distract himself by concentrating on the road, but his thoughts ended up distracting him more. At one point, he almost ran a red light and slammed on the breaks, but he wasn't quick enough and his car got hit by an over-sized truck. He slammed his head against the car door window, the passenger's side being crumpled, and his car flipping over, landing on the hood. Once it landed, Tim had hit his head against the roof of the car, knocking him out.
At the café, the waitress there waited a few minutes, serving others and watching Kobi cry. She went over to him finally and gently touched his shoulder, "Are you okay, hun? Want something to drink? I'll pay..." She said sweetly, smiling tenderly at him. |
People watched in horror as they watched the car flip over. Traffic came to a halt. People were coming out of their cars and walk over to Tim's car. The paramedics quickly came and got him out of his car. Using the jaws of life and everything. Once they got the door open. They carefully pulled him out and strapped him to the stretcher. Then they were on their way to the hospital.
Meanwhile at the cafe. Kobi was starting to calm down when he felt someone tapping him on the shoulder. He tensed up a little and looks up. She could see that his eyes were red and puffy from all the crying. When asked if he was okay and wanted any to drink. With her paying for it. He smiled and shook his head. "N-No thank you. I am sorry if I am bothering your store. I'll leave if you like." he said. He was already a bother to many. He didn't want to bother anymore people. Not today. |
Tim faded in and out of reality as he was pulled through the hospital into the emergency room. His head was bleeding, and it looked bad, and his leg had been pinned to the steering wheel. Soon, when they got into the emergency room, Tim just let himself pass out.
The waitress smiles and shakes her head, "You're no trouble." She says, "I'll get you some of our milk okay? Warm milk makes everyone feel better." she giggles and heads towards the kitchen, "And don't you dare move, okay, hun?" She says playfully. |
The doctors did everything in their hands to make sure he pulls through.
Kobi sat at the table and watched her walk away to get him some milk. Sitting still, not moving a muscle. As he sat there, all he could think about was Tim. How they first met, them working at the same restaurant together, him helping out, the day he left to work at the second restaurant, him telling that he loved him, the first time they made love, everything. His heart hurt more and more Feeling like he was going to start crying again. "Tim...Tim...Tim..." he quietly mumbled under his breath. |
After half an hour, Tim was out of surgery, but still unconscious. They had been able to save his leg and keep him from slipping into a coma, and now he laid in the hospital bed. They planned to release him a day after he woke up.
The waitress came back with the milk and a slice of apple pie, then saw his face and frowned. She set the plate down, then his drink, then sat in the seat across from him, "What happened, hun? Who hurt you?" She asked, as if she were his mother. She looked sincere enough.... |
He sniffled a few times before the milk and apple pie were placed in front of him. Not quite sure there was pie. She only said warm milk. Which he took a few sips of. Since he throat was very sore from crying like a baby. "Thank you so much." he said politely with a tiny smile on his face. When the waitress asked what happen and who hurt him. He looks down at the table and poked the pie with a fork. "It wasn't someone who hurt me. I was the one who hurt someone." he told the waitress. "I don't want to annoy you with my troubles."
