Envy had spent the evening sleeping in the tower of an abandoned church near the west end of Central. Not that he required sleep but if he wanted to he was capable of it.

Once dawn came he had shifted back into the form of a raven and flown back to Military headquarters, perching on a tree branch outside of Ed's room, watching the chibi sleep.

When Ed FINALLY got up, he was started to get very very bored, and dropping random acorns on the heads of passing officers was only SO amusing, he watched with avid attention as the chibi freaked out. He couldn't quite tell what was wrong, but it was wonderful to see the pipsqueak flipping out.

Ed scrambled around his room pulling clothes on left and right, but tangeling himself several times, he was so upset his face was turning red, he just knew he would NEVER be able to face Envy ever again...how humiliating, he was the enemy..what had started as a way to get back at Envy had turned into some weird.....Ed diddnt know what to call it...but it botherd him greatly.
No one could ever know...especailly not the Colonel..Eds head shot up remembering how Envy said he had fixed Roy, Ed burried his face in his hands in distress.

The sin tilted his head to the side a little as he watched Edward. The chibi seemed really truly distressed, which both amused him and in a vague way troubled him. He shook off the concern, wondering where in the Gate that feeling had even come from, and hopped his body onto the window ledge.

After closely inspecting the runt through the glass he tapped his beak on it three times, harshly, then snickered to himself a bit thinking how amusing it might be to bewilder the runt and screech out something like 'Nevermore!' at him.

Eds attention went to the glass were he saw a large black bird tap, tap, tapping.

Eds eyes grew wide as he relized who it was...he jumped from his place on the bed and ran to the window and opend it.

"Envy...what do you think your doing here" he said trying to sound angry but instead it came out like he was scared.

The raven sweatdropped. Envy blinked a bit and then hopped down into the room, walking on tiny bird legs across the floor. He hopped up onto the arm of the couch and turned to stare at Edward, keeping his feathered form for the moment though when he spoke he sounded both perplexed and a bit annoyed.

"How did you know it was me shrimp?"

"I saw you fly away last night!!!" Ed almost screamed..I may have been out of it...but I remember EVERY THING..EVERY THING!!" Ed yelled now looking angry ...but he wasnt angry at Envy as much as he was himself.

"Get out of here..I dont ever want to see you again!" Ed scolwed hard, his emotions doing a trip on him, he really diddnt want Envy to go...but seeing him only reminded him of what happend...and he was afraid it would happen again....because its what he really wanted.

Envy blinked at Ed, listening to the chibi rant and rave. He frowned a bit when he realized his height jab had gone completely unnoticed.

Ed must really be worked up to not spit and hiss over the short joke. The sin sighed and let Ed continue on before calmly stating the cold, hard truth of the matter.

"I can't Chibi. My orders are to follow you around. So that is precisely what I am going to do." He laughed softly, amusement glinting in black bird eyes, though he couldn't help feeling like he was forcing it a little. Something about Ed's words had mildly upset him.

"Then you leave me no choice..I will have to kill you" Ed said then quickly using alchemy Ed changed his utomail arm in the the familar blade and swiped out at Envy tears in his eyes, he looked the picture of a crazed desperate boy, who was clawing to make the mosters go away.

"Go GO!!..I hate you!!! you ruined everything...why did you have to be so wonderfull!!! " Ed screamed. tears streaming down his eyes as he blindly tried fighting the humunculouse.

Envy flapped up high out of reach, leaving a few feathers on the couch in his surprise. He wasn't expecting Ed to attack in such a crazed manner. He stared at Edward from his hovering position, scowling down at the boy after listening to him.

"Do you think it's EASY for me too?! Stupid pipsqueak! If Father finds out do you have ANY idea what he'll do? Of course not you idiot. I'll be sealed for months or years and that's if he's feeling lenient! At worst he'll destroy me and create a new Envy. You aren't the only one having to deal with what happened so stop flailing around like a pathetic little child and handle the consequences of your own actions!"

Envy snarled the last few words, anger pushing him downward, he snapped back to his favored form in a flash of alchemic energy, bringing his leg around in a vicious roundhouse kick to send Ed flying across the room. The sin stayed in a slight crouch, finger tips and feet pressed down against the carpeting, his eyes narrowed into furious violet slits.

Ed was seething and even though he just had the wind knocked out of him he lunged at Envy again.
"Then why dont you do us both a favor and let me kill you!...or better yet...get yourself sealed!" at least you wouldnt feel anything...and I could go on!" Ed yelled and backflipped trying to kick Envy down with his foot, his adrienalin was rushing hard, he had to end this...he had to...or it will all come undone he was sure of it
