Cale nodded his he left Kaelin almost following after his daddy before something caught his eye and he wiggled about on the grass outside the cave. A pretty little butterfly had found it's way up here and it caught his attention. He cooed and started to follow after it not able to stray to far from his new mommy. Kaelin cooed more and was having fun before he tried over and hit his little chin. This upset the little boy harpy greatly and he started to cry as he rolled on his back completely forgetting about the butterfly at the moment.

Lorien smiled as he watched the little one follow the butterfly, keeping a close eye on him to make sure he remained safe. His smile then faded when he fell over and then began to cry. He rushed over the the little one and gently picked him up, holding him close.

"It's okay, little Kaelin." he said, saying his name.

"Mommy's here for you." he said.

He knew that he was most likely the mother in this relationship but he truly didn't mind it. Lorien gently rubbed the Harpy's back as he held him against his chest.

Kaelin continued to cry even when he was picked up. To him the little fall hurt more than anything. He whimpered and cried into his chest little claws digging in slightly as he clung onto him. Feeling his back be rubbed and any other soothing motions he did started to calm him down until he was only soft whimper. Kaelin leaned his head against him cheeks wet from his tears and eyes big and glassy as he stared up at Lorien face still slightly pouty from crying.

He continued to gently rub his back, noticing that Kaelin was beginning to calm down. Lorien smiled at the young Harpy when he looked up at him. The Human then leaned down to place a gentle kiss upon the little one's head.

"It'll be okay." he said soothingly.

"Your father will be back soon with some milk for you. I'm sure you're getting hungry." he said, talking to the young Harpy, hoping that would help to make him feel better.

Kaelin continued to gently cling onto the other. He sniffled a bit and gave small sounds. Tail wrapped around himself and he gently sucked on the fabric of his shirt a few stray tears coming here and there but for the most part he was calm now. He cooed slightly and looked back up at him big round eyes as a kiss was placed on his head. He chirped slightly and climbed up a little bit further so that his head would be right up under the other man’s chin.

The young harpy stayed that way until Cale came back. He landed gently down next to him the jar filled with milk for the little one to have. He smiled when he noticed the slightly redness and teariness of the little one. Cale cooed slightly and leaned closer “Aww what happened little one?” he asked softly. The older harpy looked to Lorien and handed him the jar “I figured it would be easier for you to feed him and since you already have him” he said before placing a kiss on his son’s head.
