Simon watched him and played with Naoki's hair gently. "I'd be stupid for letting you out of my sight for a moment."

"Why is that?", asked Naoki, trying to sounds neutral but the blush that covered his cheeks betrayed his feelings about it.. as well as the small sparkle in his eyes.

"Just the thought of someone taking you from me..." Simon said softly as he slid his hands down to the neko's neck and then to his shoulders while he got close to Naoki's ear. "Drives me insane."

Naoki's ears flattened at that.. and his cheeks just couldn't get more red. His heart was beating really fast and his eyes escaped to the side. Though after few seconds he looked back at Simon.
"I'll kick your as if you are saying it because you go with the moment..", he said quietly, his maroon eyes looking at the mage quite seriously.

Simon bent down close to Naoki's face and gave him an equally as serious gaze. "I mean every word I'm saying right now..." he replied softly.

With that Naoki got quite flustered and in his eyes dropped to the table and his half finished dessert. He really didn't know what to say as his heart started to beat so loudly that it made him almost unable to hear anything else.
"W-why.. do you s-say.. s-such things?", he stuttered, not really sure about the reason behind all that.

Simon's heart was beating just as fast. Not from lust, but from something he couldn't explain. He lightly brushed his knuckles along Naoki's cheek. "How else are you going to know how I feel?"

"B-b-but.. but.. I.. but..", Naoki was lost with his words and didn't know what to say.
And then he suddenly got up from his chair.. and run out of the cave. He didn't think much.. he was just scared so he done most natural thing for him.. and that was running away.

Simon didn't waste a second and was soon in front of Naoki, catching him on his arms and holding him close. "What are you afraid of? Tell me..." he said softly as he panted faintly, his heart racing as he thought he'd just lost Naoki just then.

For few moments Naoki tried to desperately wriggle out of Simon's hold.. but then calmed down and let out a shaky breath. Trembling a bit he just stayed quite for few moments.
"I.. don't know..", he said, his voice showing just how scared and confused he was right now. "I.. how.. why?"
It was clear Naoki was lost.. and still quite scared.
