Akira couldn't help but to ask himself if astonishment was a good thing or a bad. As he was about to ask he heard master thank him and then furrowing his eyebrows, looking around a room. Because Josh didn't look at him he wanted to use his voice but once again it was gone. Unable to ask what was wrong he just observed Josh warily.
|
Looking around for another minute or two, Josh’s attention was brought back to Akira, his brow still slightly creased until he looked into Akira’s eyes, managing a light smile. “Sorry, I was…thinking.” For a moment, he was silent until he parted his lips and then smiled. “I was curious if you knew how to draw? The walls, they’re really blank, even the ones in my room are bare. Hm I don’t have a very good artistic outlook on things though.” Josh sighed. “I was thinking of putting some paintings or artwork up. Then that got me wondering if you ever tried anything artistic."
|
'Oh.. I was wondering what was wrong..' Listening to Josh Akira thought about it for few moments. 'Well.. I tried to draw when I was smaller but got punished for doing useless things.. so I don't really know if I'm good or not at it. It sure would be interesting to try..'
|
As he looked back at Akira, Josh was expecting to hear that he couldn’t express himself artistically, it made sense since his old Master was such a horrible person in his eyes. “I have a few things in my office, a lot of paper in there and pencils…if you ever find yourself bored or finished with work you’re allowed to explore that room, anything that’s locked is out of bounds but other than that it‘s fine.”
Josh closed the laptop for now, pushing it aside so he could get a bit closer to Akira. “How about I take you to my office now?” he whispered while looking into his eyes. |
'I can try that..' Smiling shyly he nodded. Then he looked at the cat. 'Shouldn't you take her to your room, Master?' Akira didn't know Josh had there things ready for the cat but he knew already he wasn't good in taking care of her and she would feel better being with Josh. He seemed to know how to manage her..
|
“Great!” Josh said while standing up. Before leaving, he looked at the white cat and nodded. “You’re right. She has her water and litter box in there so she can use the bathroom….come here.” He whispered to the small animal, carefully picking her up in his arms while trying not to suddenly wake her.
Pressing her small body against his bare chest, Josh hoped she wouldn’t scratch him as he walked towards his room, glancing at Akira and smirking. “You can follow.” he told him as he went to his bedroom and noticed his closed door. “Um, Akira? Can you open the door for me please.” Josh asked loud enough for him to hear, noticing he couldn’t really open the door with his hands full. |
Akira flinched a bit as Josh spoke up so loudly. Though he smiled when he heard him whisper once again. As Josh took the white cat on his arms she shifted a bit, making herself more comfortable, but that was all. Akira then just nodded and followed master and then opened the doors to his bedroom. Observing with the cat on his arms he thought to himself that they looked good together. Probably much better than him next to master..
|
As he held onto the cat, Josh looked down at her, smiling lightly since she seemed so peaceful in his arms. Once Akira opened the door, Josh stepped inside and walked over to the bed. “Thanks Akira.” He said as he placed her near the pillows, looking around the room and talking as if she understood. “If you use the bathroom in my room I won’t be mad but please, use the litter box.” Josh smiled, looking near the door where the water was and making sure there were a few toys out just in case before petting her head a few times and walking back towards the door to leave his room.
“I think she’ll be okay, as long as I don’t leave her alone too long. So, to my office?” Josh asked while looking back at Akira |
Akira was surprised Josh had everything ready for the cat. When did he do that. Just standing at the door he observed master and the white cat. When asked the question Akira nodded a bit absentmindedly and went outside, waiting for Josh and then following him. Touching his chin he thought it would stay there for a bit. Then he looked at the scratches. They were stinging a bit.. After that his thought went to the possibility to draw. Would he be any good? He wasn't really sure.. but he wouldn't know without trying, right?

Before leaving his room, Josh took a key out from his drawer and walked towards his office, unlocking it and opening it as he stepped in. The colours were rather dim, shades of brown and beige that matched the wooden desk and bookshelf.
Walking over to his desk, Josh pulled open a drawer, taking out papers and then bringing the pencil holder close towards it. “How about we both draw? I’m not very good but I think we can try together.” Josh chuckled, grabbing a mechanical pencil and eraser while placing a piece of paper next to the other. Instead of making Akira sit on the other side of the room, Josh grabbed the chair from the other desk and brought it over to put it on the other side of his own desk so they'd stay closer together. “Do you mind sitting here?” Josh asked just to make sure while returning to his own seat. |
