This is rough, so many faves, but I think my No. 1 spot of anime is tied between Yu Yu Hakusho and Big O.

Well, this is pretty tough... i have no particular favourite but the animes which i appreciate because they are truly amazing in every sense are:
attack on titan - beautiful OST, animation, scripting and excellent use of drama and tension
FMA brotherhood - probably the best conceptually of supernatural anime....evahh
Mondaiji Taichi - was so painfully short but the characters were amazing and had so much potential
Steins gate was revolutionarily good - i never watched sci fi anime before this - the plot was so intense and intricately woven.
i also loved deadman wonderland due to its unique style and never seen before battle royale type thing.

if i had to choose which of these anime would be best...it would probably be brotherhood

Attack on Titan, that's for sure :D

Hot Gimmick. I think it inspired an attraction to agression, later in life, haha

My favorite anime are currently Tokyo Ghoul, Owari no Seraph (Seraph of the End), Beyond the Boundary, Nichijou, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
