Akira looked at Josh, his green eyes showing he didn't really know what to do. He then looked at mansion, imagining how it would be to go back by himself. Only then he realised that it would much worse. 'I'll go.. if it's still okay..'
|
Keeping a hold of Akira’s hand, almost in a way that showed he didn’t want to let go, Josh bit the corner of his lip and looked at the security guards. “I hope you two trust me enough to go on my own. Plus I have servant with me, I’ll be fine.” Glancing at Akira, he then spoke once more.
“It’s only across the street. And I want you to come with me Akira.” Josh whispered that last part to him. It would only take four to five minutes, there was no reason for much concern for his wellbeing . |
The younger wanted to protest but the older one stopped him.
"Of course.. but at least we will observe you both from the back gate", he said and it seemed that part wasn't negotiable. Akira nodded and bit his lip before following Josh. Part of him was actually really curious how did it look outside. He spent some time on the street after being left alone there.. but he alosmost didn't remember that due to the shock. |
“That’s fine.” Josh answered instantly. He was pushing it enough when he said they couldn’t come, so just watching from afar wasn’t a problem, he was a rather important person and any harm that came to him would result in the security getting in trouble for not protecting him.
“Thank you.” Josh said to them shortly before looking back at Akira, beginning to proceed to walk while glancing at the dog to make sure he was alright, and then redirecting his attention back to Akira. “Sorry about that. They just want to make sure I’m safe.” Josh explained, getting towards the gates and taking a moment to ask. “Are you sure you’re ready for this?” he wondered while resting his free hand against the bars of the fence. |
'I don't know.. Let's just try..' He wrote that as his hand was trembling ever so softly. There.. behind that gate was another world.. world that once almost killed him. But he still wanted to give it a try.. hoping that this time it wouldn't be so bad with the male next to him that knew so much about it. For Akira going outside was like.. a small journey.

Josh could easily feel Akira’s hand trembling against his own. As he held on a bit tighter, he took a few more seconds pass before nodding his head. “Let’s try together then.” Josh whispered, looking at the dog and mumbling. “Don’t run off. If I had a leash…it would be easier.” he sighed, but instead of making them all wait, Josh grabbed the gate, unlatching it and opening it up.
Looking at Akira shortly, Josh took a step forward onto the sidewalk, the road in front of them thankfully rather empty, and the house they needed to get to was just across the street, very close to where they were standing. Instead of walking straight away, he just allowed Akira to take a single step, at least for now. They could make a few more when he got used to the sensation of being outside again after so long. |
Akira blinked few times repeaatedly as they stepped outside at last. His eyes wondered shyly around and he jumped as something wet touched his hand. It was the dog. Only now he looked at him closely.. I was all white. Once he saw the list of dogs races... Ah. Kishu dog. Japanese breed of dog, developed there for thousands years. Then remembered he should look around and not at the dog. There was two or three people.. but all really far.. and thanks to that it wasn't all that scary as he thought it would be.
|
While focusing on Akira, Josh barely noticed anyone around them. He knew very few people in the area, it was a bit egotistic that he didn’t go around talking to people, but Josh just seemed to keep himself busy whenever he was at home.
Glancing at the white, wolf like canine, Josh managed to touch it’s head and grab carefully along his collar. “Don’t want you running onto the street.” he said before holding Akira’s hand and asking. “You ready to cross the street? We’ll be careful I promise.” Josh said, trying to reassure that nothing would happen to them while they were outside. |
Akira nodded much calmer than just few minutes ealier. He was ready to see more. No. He wanted to see more. There was still some fear in him but there was now more curiousity than anything else.
|
It was evident to Josh that Akira wasn’t as tense. His hand wasn’t trembling as much, and he seemed to actually look…almost curious. “Okay, come on.” Josh looked around before he began to cross the street, careful with each step he took and checking on Akira, as well as the dog.
It only took another minute for them to actually get to the house. Josh stopped at the door, knocking on it and petting the dogs head. “Don’t run away anymore alright?” he said to him, letting go of his collar before paying attention to Akira and holding his hand with a tightened grip. “The owner will come to the door. You don’t have to speak…but just try to relax.” |
