"Sure. Wait", she said and went out of the room to the kitchen.
Soon she was back and gave Josh a piece of paper with email address and skype account name. "Here you go. I will be waiting then for you to contact me, ok?" Akira nodded his head, not trying to look at anyone. |
Waiting patiently for the few seconds, Josh looked at the piece of paper handed to him, checking it over a few times and smiling once again. “Thank you. I’ll contact you within the week.” Standing up, Josh gave Alice another soft smile and looked at Akira, taking a hold of his hand and carefully pulling him up. “Come on, let’s head home now alright?” he asked.
“It was nice getting to know you and your family Alice. Be careful of Snowflake getting out.” He chuckled lightly, looking over at his guard and nodding to tell him they were heading out. |
"Thank you. It was nice to get to know you both", said Alice, standing up. "And here are some cookies for later. I'm sure that Akira would want to eat them when his calmer."
That said she gave Josh a bad full of cookies. The guard stood up and approached them. Akira nodded his head, wanting to go home really badly. He was all tensed up and wasn't able to relax. His heart was beating a bit too fast.. |
Putting the paper in his pocket, Josh nodded his head and then smiled when he was given the cookies. “Thank you.” he said again. “Talk to you soon Alice.” Josh spoke as he turned around to head towards the door, holding onto Akira’s hand and using the other to hold the bag.
As he took a step out of the door with his guard nearby, Josh looked at Akira and began to speak to him. “Almost home, almost there Akira.” Josh tried to reassure. It was hard to see him like this, so scared and anxious about leaving. It was difficult to not just wrap his arms around him and tell him he’d be okay. |
"Bye, bye", she smiled as she escorted them to her front doors.
Akira bit his lower lip and nodded. Putting on his shoes he tried not to panic and just focus that few more minutes and they would be back.. safe in his room.. |
Making sure he had his own shoes on, Josh walked forward and went outside. It wasn’t a long walk, so as he was going forward he looked at Akira every so often. Crossing the street, Josh took another few seconds to head towards the back doors instead of the front, knowing it was way faster getting to his bedroom from there instead.
“I appreciate you coming with us. See you…soon.” Josh said to his guard, bowing his head shortly and looking at Akira as he opened the door to go inside. “You first, go ahead.” |
"It's not a problem", said the guard and smiled. "I wish you a good day, Master."
As they went inside he left them alone. Akira went inside as soon as Josh opened the small back gate. When the gueard left he felt e bit better because now he was left alone with Josh and that was something he was used to. |
“You as well.” Josh said finally, walking inside as and looking at Akira yet again. Waiting a while as they walked towards his bedroom, it only took a few more minutes to get there until he opened his bedroom door and walked in. Josh wrapped his arm around Akira’s waist and gently pulled him inside, closing the door behind them and dropping the bag on the nearby dresser as he wrapped both of his arms tightly around Akira’s body, holding him as though his life depended on it.
“Relax now alright? We’re back…would you like to lay in bed?” Josh wondered, trying to sooth him, wanting to make him feel better. |
When they were at least on the place and the door were closed behind them Akira felt as if someone took from his shoulders something heavy. After warm arms wrapped around him he let out a shaky breath and put his head on Josh's chest. When he heard the question he nodded his head few times lightly. It was so good to be back..

Feeling Akira nod his head against his chest, Josh whispered a soft, “Okay.”, and picked him up in his arms, walking over towards the bed and laying him on it. Josh went right beside him, keeping his arms around the smaller male and kissing the side of his head.
“I know you might feel like you weren’t being brave over there but I think that you were. I’m proud of you. You actually went outside, and went into a persons house. That’s a big deal for you.” Josh smiled lightly and looked at Akira while rubbing his back. “You seem to look a lot better now.” he said with relief in his voice. “Are you feeling better?” he asked, just to make sure. |
