"No. I came here to make myself useful after all", he said softly and took what Sangre showed him.
Looking at the masterpiece for the last time he started cleaning the counters. With that his thoughts went to what he had done today.. as well as to other things. With a sudden stress turning his stomach in the wrong way he realised that Sangre didn't have time to go with him to the greenery.. and even more to the library. |
Nodding to show he understood, Sangre pulled out a stool from near the front and sat down, his legs beginning to ache after standing for hours on end. As he worked on the delicate chocolate and sugar, he had to take a break and place it in the fridge. If not it would probably melt and begin to get ruined, of course Sangre wouldn’t want that.
Washing his hands again, Sangre wiped them against a towel and smiled while looking over at Akira, not knowing what was on his mind. “Thanks. I guess I won’t be behind schedule today.” he said while taking a deep breath yet again, trying to relax himself a little while he got himself a drink of chocolate milk. “How was your day by the way?” Sangre wondered. |
"It was.. stressful..", he answered softly with a sigh after few momtents of thinking. "Master took me outside.. and we met Snowflake.. and took it to it's owner on the other side of the street. Her's name is Alice and her's daughter Mary."
There was evident stress in Akira's voice as he didn't relax at all.. and remembering about it made him just to feel worse. Feeling his throat getting sore slowly he took one of the pills Sangre gave him ealier. |
Stopping everything he was doing, Sangre looked at Akira shortly and faintly frowned. It was obvious to him now distressed he was, and if the chef wanted to help he’d have to try and get his mind off of it. “Sounds really stressful, but you did it, and it‘s over now.” Sangre smiled, going towards Akira and seeing as he took the pill, hoping his throat would get better once he got used to talking a bit more
As Sangre was about to speak yet again, he looked at the kitchen doors and smiled, bowing instantly at the sight of Josh. “Hello Master. You missed me I’d presume.” he chuckled. Josh rolled his eyes as he passed Sangre, although he looked over at Akira and saw something was off. Pausing shortly, Josh was about to head towards the fridge but then thought maybe they were having a personal conversation, asking what was wrong wouldn’t help. Instead, Josh opened the fridge and starred. “What’s this?” “It’s nothing, just for Harumi. What are you looking for?” Sangre asked. “Something for Lady…the cat.” Josh looked back at Akira shortly and then tried focusing at the task at hand, really hoping he didn’t intrude. While scrambling around, he paused and took out a small black plastic container. Sangre seemed to frown at the sight of what Josh held. His beloved sushi was in Josh’s hands, about to be fed to a cat. Sighing, Sangre allowed it anyways, it was the only raw fish available and if Lady needed something, he’d give that up for her. |
Akira flinhed when he heard Sangre greeting master. He turned around to look at him and then on his feet. Now he was feeling guilty to say what he had said. With a small blush he rubbed his stomach when he gurgled from how stressed he now was. He then looked once again up and saw what was in Josh's hands. Only few times but he saw already Sangre eating some strange rolls from it. Wasn't it unfair to take it from him just like that? Akira knew he should say something but he was just too shy and.. didn't want to anger master. All of a sudden he felt like puking. Covering his lips he run out of the kitchen.. but didn't make it to his room. On the middle he just stopped and throwed up.

Just as Josh was about to head back, he noticed something was wrong with Akira, something worse than before. Before managing to speak a single word, he saw him dart out of the room and into the hall. At first, Josh thought it might have been his own fault, sighing with a frown. “I’ll leave this, don’t worry. The food will be here in less than twelve hours. I’ll check on Akira.” Josh said to Sangre.
“Yes, of course Master.” Sangre bowed, feeling a bit better knowing his sushi wasn’t going to be eaten, although he was worried for Akira, he looked rather sickly a moment ago. Heading out into the hall, Josh searched around for Akira although it didn’t take very long to find him. Carefully Josh began to go to where he was, hunched over and apparently sick. Frowning a little once more, Josh wanted to make it obvious it was him, so he began to speak with a very soft, and gentle voice. “Akira…what’s wrong?” he asked, unsure if he’d allow him to get close since he had no clue what was making him so sick. |
Akira flinched when he heard someone was coming and then looked at Josh startled.
"I.. d-don't know.. I was s-stressed a-and t-then.. felt sick", he sttuered and then looked on the mess he did. "I.. a-am sorry.. I c-clean that up.." He rubbed his eyes. If Josh would look closely he would be able to see that Akira was trembling and looked scared by what had happen. "I...", but it was all he was able to say before his voice disappeared once again. |
“Akira.” Josh muttered his name, clearly seeming a little distressed by what Akira was feeling. He looked at him shortly, slowly taking a few more steps forward and shaking his head when he said he’d clean it. “Don’t worry about it. I’m not upset with you, no one is. You didn’t do anything bad.” Josh tried to explain to him, carefully placing one of his arms around Akira and looking down at him with a creased brow and slight frown, seeing how clearly scared he was.
“You don’t have to be afraid, I’m here, you know I wont hurt you.” Josh said to him. |
When he heard what Josh said he closed his eyes and took few deep breaths to calm himself.. even if only a bit. Then he opened them and looked at other male with those green depths of his. 'I'll clean it.. and got back to work.. I'm fine..' Although he said that his slender hand was still shaking a bit.
|
Josh kept at least one arm around Akira, focusing all of his attention on him and nothing else. He worried for him, whenever he was upset, Josh felt the same. Rubbing along his back, Akira seemed a bit better after a few moments, although it was evident to Josh that he wasn’t fine.
After Akira had written that, Josh touched his hand and spoke to him. “I’m coming with you then. We’ll head to the greenery first, then the library. I have nothing else to do since Lady is cared for. So let me come with you alright?” Josh asked, hoping maybe that would help him a bit. |
