'Yes. I said I would help there.. so it would be rude.. and lazy of me if I wouldn't. Beside I want to be useful.' He wrote that and on his face showed a bit of determination. After all the only servants worth was in how useful he was to his master.
|
“You are useful. Very useful.” Josh muttered, kissing Akira’s lips finally and grabbing onto his hand. “Come on, let’s go there now. Let’s see if the butterflies are still around.” Josh said hopefully, knowing if it got cold enough they would end up either flying South or dying off.
Making sure Akira was walking alongside him, Josh began to head down the hall, going straight towards the greenery. “I noticed we haven’t slept apart for…a while.” Josh looked at Akira and creased his brow. “You don’t mind that do you? Sleeping beside me?” He wondered aloud. |
Smiling when Josh talked about butterflies he followed him and then he blushed hearing that question asked where just anyone could hear it. Shaking his head he started to write. 'Of course I don't mind. I slept alone all my life.. and it's nothing enjoyable.'
|
While walking forward, Josh looked over at Akira and read as he wrote to him. Of course people might hear nearby but…recently Josh began to grow accustomed to the thought of being ‘caught’, and having his secret thrown out there.
“I agree with that.” Josh muttered, being able to understand how Akira felt in that sense. He couldn’t even count the times he had to sleep alone when he was young. “Now we have each other. So no more sleeping alone.” Josh smiled and looked ahead again, walking along the maroon carpet and remembering his father getting them installed because he was born with a similar eye colour. How odd was it to have something done for him by the person her barely got to see. |
Akira nodded and then looked at Josh. He seemed to think about something so he decided to not disturb him. Looking around a bir nervously he sighed in relief when he didn't see anyone. Maybe he would be lucky and they would reach the greenery not disturbed? Slender male sure hoped so.

Looking up and around the huge complex that he lived in, Josh had a few thoughts running through his mind of his past until he noticed they were close to the greenery. Focusing his attention on where he was walking, Josh looked back at Akira and then looked ahead, seeing the doors already.
“When I was seven, I got lost once…” Josh randomly began to tell a little tale about when he was young, smiling in the process. “While running around, I found the greenery, I ran inside and hid behind some flowers, for three hours I just sat there, waiting for someone to find me.” Josh then went to the doors, opening them up for himself and Akira, still speaking as he did. “And that’s the day I learned how much I love this room. It’s beautiful isn’t it?” Josh asked, stepping inside and looking around. Yet again the scent of pollen filled the room, and a few butterflies flying by instantly and not surprisingly, Harumi was in the back, adding fertilizer to some of the flowerpots. |
Hearing to the story Akira then nodded. 'It is really beatiful. One can forget about his problems in a place so full of plants, birds and butterflies.' With a soft smile he stepped inside and felt himself relaxing as he heard small birds calling each other and saw all those butterflies. It was perfect place to forget about everything else. With his green eyes following some of the creatures he just stood there, still smiling.

“I think that as well. A nice place to escape mentally.” Josh glanced at Akira when they stepped inside. Even with the beauty around him, he couldn’t stop looking at the man standing beside him. Seeing Akira smile after how stressed out he was earlier was just what Josh needed to make him feel a little better.
Harumi finally noticed the other two and smiled, finishing what she was doing and cleaning her hands before slowly walking over. She caught a glimpse of Akira’s smile, making her do the same. “Nice to see you two.” Harumi bowed towards Josh and looked at Akira. “Perfect timing. I was hoping you’d help me feed the butterflies their nectar.” She said with a gentle expression. |
When Harumi spoke Akira looked at her, remembering why he was here in the first place. His eyes sparkled excitedly when she said about feeding the butterflies with nectar. Now Akira looked a bit like small boy waiting for his birthday present. ' Good morning, miss Harumi. How to do that? Feeding them I mean..'
|
Josh allowed Harumi and Akira to feed the butterflies, he just seemed so happy. “I’ll be to the right.” Josh whispered, hoping he didn’t disturb them as he headed towards the flowers, checking to make sure all maintained a good temperature as well as watering.
Harumi nodded at Josh and focused back on Akira. “Good morning Akira! It’s simple. Come with me.” Turning and heading towards the back of the greenery, Harumi began to walk while speaking. “All we have to do is make it. Of course the butterflies have a lot of food from the flowers, but nectar is really sweet, like a little treat for them.” Harumi smiled, grabbing a kettle of hot water and looking at Akira. “First we boil some water…” Pouring the water inside of small, shallow bowls, Harumi then took some sugar and passed it to Akira. “Can you put a teaspoon of sugar in each bowl? And then stir it until it dissolves. That‘ll make it kind of like a sugary drink” Harumi said. |
