Daemon sniffled and hugged the man tightly. He gave a small hiccup but he still reacted to Vladimir's kissed by blushing. He gave a small smile and nodded into the vampire's neck. "I'm so sorry... It's been so long since I've had a nightmare... Don't wanna burden you.." He gave a sniffle. "You're so tired of me... but you put up with me.." He hugged the man tightly.

Vladimir held Daemon tighter while still holding Nathaniel who had begun to play with a few long strands of his hair and he kissed Daemon's hair gently. "My dear...I'm not tired of you, and I will always support you when you need me." he said softly. He meant every word he said, and he never lied to Daemon and he wasn't going to start now. "My moon...my sun...my stars...I'm always going to be here for you."

Daemon smiled up at the vampire and he sniffled. He gently kissed the man's lips and wiped his eyes. "You're too good to me... my knight.. my savior... my light..." He cuddled up to the vampire and looked at their baby. He gave a small sniffle before he gently tapped his nose.

Vladimir kissed back gently and he held him closer, then looked down as Daemon gently booped Nathaniel on the nose and he chuckled softly seeing Nathaniel coo happily as he reached for Daemon's finger to gently grasp it in his small hands. "He knows who you are...he's attached to his "mommy"." he said softly as he watched Nathaniel coo softly as he examined Daemon's hand that was much larger than his own.

Daemon smiled and wiggled his finger a bit in the child's grasp. He gave a small coo and held his baby's hand flat against his own. Nathaniel's hand was so much smaller. He couldn't believe that he would grow up to be as tall as possibly Vladimir. "I would hope he knows I'm his "mother" that would be kind of awkward when he grew up if he didn't."

"Vampire infants recognize their mothers by scent. It's sort of like with new puppies that are born blind." Vladimir said. "You give off a scent that Nathaniel recognizes from being inside of you."

Nathaniel pressed his hand against Daemon's gently and cooed softly still as he moved his hand against Daemon's palm since it was so much bigger than his own.

Daemon smiled. "Sounds weird, but I don't care.. As long as he knows who I am.." He watched as their baby moved his hand against Daemon's palm. It was pretty cute to watch him do anything because he was so small right now. "How fast will he grow. You said he ages faster than a human baby right?"

"He'll grow much faster than a human. I'd imagine he'll be toddler-sized in a week or so, maybe a few days." Vladimir replied. "It all depends on him, really."

"Seriously?! Wow, that's really fast... That's gonna be pretty amazing.. Oh goddess, he'll be as tall as me in a matter of months! Vlad I'm gonna look like his brother not his 'mother'.." He looked to the vampire and then to the baby.

"Does it bother you?" Vladimir asked as he looked at Daemon. "He might grow a little slower than I said. Some vampire infants grow slower than others, though most of them still grow faster than a human infant."
