Daemon nodded and went down to the first floor. He knew where Vladimir kept the blood and he still didn't approve but he needed it. He walked to the place where he found the bags. He grabbed one and it compressed under his grip. He made a face but took the bag nonetheless. He closed their storage and lefts back towards the room. On the way, he hit the bag and drank the contents.

Vladimir walked back and forth in the nursery as he bounced Nathaniel gently in his arms and the infant vampire giggled the whole time and was looking around at his surroundings out of pure curiosity.

"You know, I don't think you're ever going to know how happy you made your mommy the day you came out. When you get older, I hope we'll be able to tell you about how you came to be here...with some of details leading up to it left out." Vladimir said softly with a chuckle at the end.

Daemon finished the bag before he even got back to the nursery. He blinked at the empty bag in his hand, rather surprised by the fact he could swallow the whole thing and not feel grossed out. He walked into the nursery with the empty bag and stared at the scene before him. It wa so cute to see this stern looking vampire rocking a giggling infant in his arms. Daemon smiled happily and didn't say anything so he didn't disturb th scene.

Vladimir continued walking back and forth with a giggling Nathaniel without noticing Daemon in the doorway. "I hope one day you understand how hard your mother and I will try to make you happy...to give you a life that you will look back on and say you have no regrets, how hard we will try to give you everything you will ever need." he said as he slowed to a stop with Nathaniel in his his arms and he looked back down at Nathaniel. "I think your mother is just as worried about the future as I am, but I know you'll be happy...and I know you'll grow up to be something we'll both be proud of."

Daemon smiled happily at the whole speech Vladimir gave his son. He walked in silently and wrapped his arms around Vladimir's belly. He smiled and rubbed his cheek against the man's back. "I know he'll be a son we're proud of. I mean... He is already something I'm proud of.."

Vladimir smiled as he looked back at Daemon and he purred softly feeling the nuzzle against his back. "I'm proud of him as well. I know he'll grow to be intelligent and as musically talented as we are." he said as he looked back down at Daemon.

Nathaniel was busying himself with lining up his toy soldiers on the floor of his bedroom. He now had the appearance of an eight-year-old with his father's facial features showing from when Vladimir was young, with a little bit of Daemon as well. He still had one crimson eye and the other a neon green and now had long black hair with streaks of white that was always back in a ponytail. He suddenly lifted his head from his plastic army and he stood from the floor to rush his way down the hall and down the stairs after hearing the clip-clop of Nightwing approach the castle with his sensitive hearing.

"Mama! Dad's home!" Nathaniel cried as he ran to the front door. He had an instinct to rush outside and meet his father at the stable, but his parents had both warned him not to go outside alone, especially during the day.

Daemon had been in the living room, cleaning up the toys Nathaniel made a habit of leaving there. He was gathering up the last of the train set when he head his son yell about Vladimir. He smiled and quickly rushed to put the toys away in a small chest they put in the living room. He walked into the entry way and pulled on a coat. He helped Nathaniel get into his before he opened the door and let their son run out to meet his father. Daemon followed quickly after, his maternal instincts on high alert since they were outside. He followed after his son and smiled as he watched their little boy practically vibrate with excitement. They could hear Nightwing clopping down the gravel.

Nathaniel ran out immediately after Daemon put his hooded coat on and opened the door. He ran quickly along the gravel trail, along the side so he wasn't in Nightwing's way as the majestic creature made his way toward the castle, pulling the cart easily with Vladimir at the driver's seat. He slowed to a stop upon Vladimir gently tugging the reins and Vladimir got down from the driver's seat to catch his boy in his arms and he picked the giggling boy up into his arms. He then greeted Daemon with a one-arm embrace and a loving kiss.
