"Do you trust me?" Itzel asked softly as he took Naoki's hands.

"I... I don't know what to think. You first hurt me, when you were an owl.. and then was so tender.. and then not.. and then.. and...", Naoki's voice faltered the longer he was speaking.

Itzel kissed Naoki's cheek. "I'm sorry for hurting you." he said softly.

"It's fine already..", he mumbled, not able to not to smile after he was kissed on the cheek all of a sudden. "Why did you do that anyway?"

"I think at the time I may have had my feathers ruffled. I can be a temper-mental bird, you know." Itzel replied with a soft chuckle as he slightly shrugged. "That, and I wasn't as attracted to you as I am now."

"Attracted or not why does it matter. Being temperamental... it's just mood based. And you know that cats eat birds, right?", asked Naoki with a small grin, a bit more himself since his body calmed down while not bothered sexually.

Itzel chuckled softly at this. "You'd eat a big bird like me?" he replied just as teasingly, glad to see Naoki being himself.

"Well.. I wouldn't know without trying first, right?", he answered with a small smirk while the tip of his tail twitched playfully.

Itzel chuckled once more and gave Naoki a nose nuzzle. "Oh?~ Should I be frightened of the big bad cat?" he teased right back.

Naoki smiled warmly when his nose was nuzzled like that. It made him feel quite strange.. but in a good way so he even started purring.
"Maybe.. but if you brush my tail and ears everyday, I'll spare you", answered the neko boy.
