"I don't really mind", he said, shrugging. "After my parents died when I was nine I was leading a kind of night life anyway. I can count times I was up before night on the fingers of one hand.."
Rick wasn't fazed in any way by what he heard, letting other male wash him.

Vincent released Rick's arm once it was washed and he assisted in rinsing off the soap from Rick's body as he listened to what his creation told him. "At least you got a taste of the daylight. Most vampires can't even look outside when it's daytime. The sunlight coming in through the glass would be just as harmful as it would be if they stood outside in the light."

"Hmmm.. So I'm a lot less fragile?", he asked, not sure what exactly other male told him right now.

Vincent chuckled softly. "What I'm saying is it wouldn't be wise for us to go outside when it's bright outside unless you want to end up fried and probably scare some humans when you suddenly combust." he replied as he began lathering Rick's dark hair with shampoo.

"But... I remember you took out the garbages.. and the sun was still up?", he wondered, frowning a bit.

Vincent blinked at what Rick said, pausing his hand movements. "I did?" he asked in reply. Thinking back, he did remember that he had taken the garbage out when Rick was first staying with him and the sun was indeed out. "Hm...I completely forgot about that. That's odd...did I have a lot of blood that day? I can't remember."

"Well.. you did have some.. I'm not sure if you had a lot..", he said, shrugging.

Vincent shrugged as well as he resumed lathering Rick's hair with shampoo until he was sure that it was clean. He pulled his hands away to rinse his hands in the water, pondering about that day. It felt like years ago, but it was important that he figured out if he could actually go outside for a limited time or if he would hurt himself as soon as he went outside. There was only one way to really find out...he could go out on the roof, or maybe try, but he was hesitant.

"What are you thinking about?", asked Rick, standing up when Vincent finished... only to seat back down after he felt like falling down. "Ok... that would need to wait.."

Vincent watched as Rick tried to stand before he had a chance to rinse the shampoo out of Rick's hair and he chuckled a little when Rick was forced to sit back down. He rinsed the shampoo out of Rick's hair as he thought of an answer to Rick's question. "I was thinking...if I could go outside for as long as it took me to take the garbage out...then maybe you could go outside too, even if it's temporary." he replied as he continued rinsing Rick's hair.
