"But isn't it more likely that you were able to gain kind of immunity to sunlight through all those years being a vampire?", he asked, tilting his head.

"Yeah, it's possible. It could be that I just...adapted, I suppose. Because, you know, I'm an old man underneath all of this eternal youth. I'm pretty sure I grew some sort of immunity just from aging and surviving all these years." Vincent said as he once again pulled his hands away once Rick's hair was rinsed of all of the shampoo. He then stood to help Rick stand up in the tub so he could wrap Rick in a towel, then he picked Rick up bridal-style with ease.

Rick didn't say anything about picking him up in that way. For starters.. he was getting used to it. And also he wasn't strong enough to walk by himself so he would need to be stupid to be unhappy he was being carried. Knowing that he simply stayed quiet and sniffed the air as soon as they got in the bedroom.
"Hmm... Did you actually burn something?", he asked, smirking a bit while finding amusing that the other male was ready to take the time to cook something for them both.

"I overcooked the bacon...but, it's not black. Just crunchy." Vincent replied with a chuckle as he laid Rick down on the bed. He left the younger vampire on the bed to walk to the kitchen where he made a plate for Rick and himself before returning to hand Rick his breakfast. "Just think of them as bacon-flavored chips." he said playfully.

Rick didn't really mind it and just nodded his head. He was so damn hungry that he simply couldn't and didn't want to comment it in any way. As soon as he was given a plate he started to eat. It was surprisingly good. Showing Vincent his thumb up he ate in silence, loving the way his empty stomach was filling up slowly.

Vincent chuckled softly when all he received was a thumb up in response to his cooking and he sat on the bed across from Rick with his own plate to begin eating. He was surprised with himself. He always thought of himself as pretty much useless when it came to his cooking skills, but Rick was pretty much devouring the plate of food that he made for him. That was good sign, wasn't it? He didn't burn anything, though he did overcook the bacon to where it was like eating a potato chip. Still, it was edible.

As soon as he finished he looked at Vincent with small grin.
"Now that was way better than I thought. Some more practice and who knows what you would be able to do. Do you have some more?", he asked, linking his lips clean.

"I can make some more, now that I know what I'm doing and I know my cooking isn't as lethal as I thought it would be." Vincent replied after he chewed and swallowed the food that was in his mouth when Rick asked him that question.

"That would be quite amusing to see you fighting with food..", he muttered, rising his eyebrows.

Vincent chuckled softly as he continued to eat from his plate until he was finished as well and he set his plate aside. "I think so too...I can imagine myself yelling at the toaster for burning a few pieces." he replied with a teasing tone as he stood from the bed with both plates and forks. "You want more of everything?"
