I sat down in my seat just as the bell rang and greeted some of my friends. I looked into my backpack to see if I missed something. Shoot my book! I started panicking and tried to get the boy's attention. Too bad he sat far away. Just then the teacher saw my frantic wave "what is it?" I blushed red as everyone looked at me and I slid down my seat "n-nothing ma'am" jeez what a nice first day of 11th grade huh?

I laughed a little when the boy was waving like a lunatic. I had noticed him, but I didn't want to draw attention to myself. That'd be embarrassing. I laughed a little harder when he was called out, and when I locked eyes with him after the class lost interest in him, I gave him a little smirk and put his schoolbook on my desk, to show him I have it. I then looked to the front of the classroom, listening to the teacher go on about how this year won't be easy and how they expect all the homework and classwork, so on, so forth. I sighed a little, wanting to be learning something already.

(I'm pretty sure it is a fine name :) But, your opinion is your opinion, and you do have the option of changing it.)

I sighed out in relief when I saw my book on his desk. Thank heavens. I listened to the teacher give us a lecture in maturity and good behavior in class. What if the teacher did a book check? I started panicking again and panicking has never been a good thing for me. I turned my head to the side a little too fast and fell to the floor. I blushed beet red when everyone started laughing. The teacher looked at me and bellowed "out in the hallway!" and just as I stood up and quickly walked outside I heard the teacher "that, students, is not maturity nor is it good behavior" I sighed as I stood in the hallway and bit my bottom lips to hold in my tears

I laughed along with the class as the dorky kid left the classroom. He even walked a little like a girl. When the teacher made that comment, though, I frowned and sighed, then raised my hand. When I was called on, I said in a clear and loud enough voice, "I don't think he is the immature one. You've called him out twice already just to make fun of him. The only reason he was freaking out before class was because he dropped his book, and you didn't even allow him to get it from me. Then you go and send him out of the classroom, drawing more embarrassing attention to the kid and automatically making him the main target for any possible bullying that could happen in the near future, most likely done by you. I think you are the immature one with bad behavior, sir." I say, leaning back in my chair and crossing my arms. "And to be honest, I laughed along with the class, but at least I didn't call him immature when he was clearly worried about his textbook, which is a very mature and responsible thing."

The teacher looked at the boy who stood up for Selene as the class made comments, whispering to themselves. "well, then you might as well go with him, you ou in the hallway too" he teacher pointed his finger at him and jabbed it towards the door. "there will be absolutely NO talking back in this class" I was in the hallway on the bridge of crying when the door opened and I almost jumped out of my skin

I didn't care that I was being sent out, we weren't learning anything anyway. When I opened the door, I frowned when I saw the kid freak out. "Spaz" I say, rolling my eyes a little and slamming the door shut behind me, leaning against the wall opposite of the door. I looked at the kid again to see him almost crying, and I sighed, "Really? It's not the death sentence, kid. Stop tearing up." I say, standing next to him instead and patting his shoulder, "You're way too sensitive."

I looked down as the boy walked the sensitive "I... I got sent out of class..." I slid down the wall and sat on the floor with my arms around my legs "I got sent out..." I tried really hard not to cry. If I cried, what would happen? Would he try to comfort me?..... Or would he call me a crybaby..? I looked up at him "how... Why did you get sent out...?"

I smiled a little, "I was protecting your dumb self. I just talked to the teacher about it. Then i got sent out. But don't worry, we're not learning anything, anyway." I say, sitting down next to the boy and wrapping an arm around his shoulder and pulling him close, "I like you, you're a wimp, but you're kinda funny." I say without thinking, ruffling his hair. "What's your name?"

( how?!?!?!?! Its the name of a wizard who fights his mortal enemy without a nose! Its not adorable!! Pout*)

"thanks for standing up for me i guess.. But that means your out here because of me.. And im not a wimp!" I pout when he ruffled my hair but blushed when he put his arm around me "my name is selene, whats yours?" i look up to look at his face and find myself gazing at his beautiful eyes.

(Haha I didn't think of that, actually. I think it's cute because I like that name. One of my favorite names actually. But when I think Harry Potter, I don't think it suits him, because he isn't adorable. :P)

I laugh a little and mutter out "Selene...." I smile at him as friendly as I could, and say "I'm Darren. Have you gone here before? I'm new and I don't really know my way around. I'll trade you your book for a tour during lunch?" I suggest, smiling.
