Whenever Rin had to ask him something Yukio would peep from the kitchen and respond to him,giving him instructions.Since the other was doing his homework,Yukio had went to make dinner.He made dinner whenever he could,considering that usually he'd be back very late.

Now he was even wearing a light blue apron which still felt a bit unusual for him.It didn't take him too long to prepare dinner and he had make sashimi which was his favorite too.He set the table himself as well.

And even after Rin thanked him he didn't respond with a simply 'you're welcome but "I'll give you some extra tasks so you don't forget what you've learned." he stated then beckoned Rin to come and eat.

Rin was actually already looking forward to the food Yukio made. It was alway a bit special when his brother would cook for them because it was only at rare times. He was glad as well that he finished his tasks.

But his eyes widened upon hearing that he was going to have even more tasks to do. "What!? No. Common Yukio I did my homework and learned a lot already so can't we spend a nice relaxed evening for today?" Rin replied sighing as he walked into the kitchen to eat dinner.

The demon boy sat at the table and looked at the delicious food. "Wow this looks great!" He commented smiling widely as he looked at his brother and added. "Did you really cook all of that?"

Yukio just knew that his brother would protest. "Nii-san,you'll forget everything easily if you don't." he stated as calmly as always. But he knew that if he still refused then he'd make him do some extra tasks not as his brother but as a teacher.It was for Rin's own good after all.

He sat at the table himself after taking off the apron and placing it on the kitchen counter.This once,Yukio even smiled a little bit to himself as his cooking was praised.It wasn't too often that the male smiled.Not that he was someone who was like an emotionless statue but it's just that he was always so serious.Seeing a smile on his face was indeed a pleasing sight.

Though he didn't respond to Rin's question. What was he to say? 'no,the food magically cooked itself'? It was a meaningless question to ask so Yukio didn't pay any special attention to it and began eating calmly.

Rin sighed as his brother argued with him. "I guess so but still. Shouldn't we relax now that both of us have some time." He replied with a soft smirk trying to get Yukio to forget about the work for once.

Rin was surprised to see Yukio smile and he just had to smile as well. "You know you should smile more often. It sweats you!" The demon boy said chuckling softly as he started to eat the dinner made by his brother. "Wow it's delicious! You're quite the good cook!"

"I have work to do after dinner." he stated calmly after swallowing.Then Yukio looked over at his brother and smiled a bit as the other commented on his smile. "If you understood your homework then a few extra tasks won't be a problem then.I'm sure you'll be done with it soon,Nii-san."

His smile was almost like a smirk,knowing Rin could hardly protest anymore.It was satisfying.He then continued to eat. "I'm glad Nii-san likes it,though you'll be washing the dishes since I cooked."

Rin sighed as he shook his head softly. "Can't you at least relax just once? You could really need a day off." He said overly enthusiastic and with a big grin. It was actually fun arguing with his brother so he kept on talking to him.

"But fine I'll guess I could do a few more tasks then." He finally gave in raising his hands in defeat. Soon he let his arms fall back down though as Rin looked at Yukio with big eyes. "W-what!? That's unfair. Whenever I'm doing the cooking I'll wash up on my own already. So why do I have to do it today too?" He protested pouting slightly.

Yukio shook his head. "Unlike Nii-san,I have work to do.I need to prepare for upcoming classes and I think having these one's canceled gives me more than enough time to relax." he stated.He was very responsible.And sometimes it seemed that it was even too responsible,too tensed with tasks he had.He just needed to learn how to relax.

Yukio finished eating and stood,taking his plate before calmly saying. "I'll help."

"You really should try being more immature." Rin replied as he sighed once again. They may be exorcist and not kids anymore but still they could have some fun now and then. "Maybe I should teach you how to relax!" He suggested chuckling as he finished his food too.

"Oh thanks." Rin said grinning as he walked into the kitchen and let some water into the sink before putting soap and the dirty dishes inside. The demon boy smirked as an idea came to his mind. He grabbed some of the bubbles and blew then so that they landed on his brother.

Yukio didn't even pay attention to the 'be more immature' comment.He didn't have much to say about it.He only knew that he was a rather mature person and that's just how it was.

He brought the remaining dishes to the sink then blinked as one bubble reached him and popped to his glasses.Yukio frowned as he took off his glasses and began cleaning them with a little tissue that he always kept in the pocket of his pants.

"You really are a stick in the mud person. Why don't you lighten up a bit?" Rin said laughing softly as he blew some more bubbles towards his tensed brother. It was quite fun to tease his younger brother a bit so Rin didn't plan on stopping any time soon.

At the same time Rin started to wash some of the dirty dishes so they would get that done already. He didn't want to spend all night in the kitchen anyways.
