"2224 Wyoming Avenue..", he said while thinking what would he do if Gary would want to ever use it for his own benefit.
Maybe I'm thinking too much? Probably.. It may be because of today.. events.. or not.
His mind was in chaos so before he even noticed they were inside the cab.

Gary sighed to the cab driver. "You heard him." The driver nodded and took off. Gary leaned back in his seat, shooting a sideways glance at the young man next to him. "Look, I know it's probably none of my business, but will you be ok after that jerk bothered you tonight?"

John looked at him, surprised.
"What do you mean?", he asked after a while, rearranging his glasses. "He doesn't know where I live and only knows my name. I don't think there should be any problems with him..."

"Believe me John," Gary sighed, "I went to college with a lot of guys. They can find out anything they want if they need to, and they can use that against you. In any case I hope he doesn't find out. Oh look here we are."

The taxi pulled into the drive way of John's house.

"Well, maybe..", he said almost as if he didn't care. "Yes. We are indeed. I destroyed your evening so let me pay for the cab."
That said he gave the driver two times more than the taxi metre showed and got out from the car.
"Goodbye... Gary."

"Eh..." Gary watched as the driver took the money and counted through it. Once John was out of the car, Gary elbowed the driver. "Hey, don't sit there grinning, give me the change!"

He got out of the car and followed the other man to his doorstep. "Wait up, here's your change. Shouldn't encourage cab drivers to be greedy."

"H-huh? But it was so you could drive home...", said John totally surprised when Gary followed him.
He blushed almost unnoticeably as he felt his stress build up even more.
I'm just a trouble to him.. why does he care about that? He should leave me and find himself a better thing to do..

"Oh." Gary scratched his head, feeling very stupid and awkward. "....Thanks. Tell you what, I don't have enough on me right now, but tomorrow I'll return the money, ok? And take care, good night."

He sighed and trotted back down the steps to the cab. "Hope he'll be ok," he muttered to himself.

But tomorrow is saturday..
But he didn't say it aloud. He just nodded his head and gave a small smile.

When he got home changed into more comfortable clothes. He was tired with all that happened so John just checked the messages on various portals, wrote back and holed up with a book in his bedroom. However, not being able to focus on what he was reading he lay down on his back and began to wonder what exactly he knows about the man, Gary Kaburagi. He was nice enough that he helped him and even drove him home. And it seemed that he did not mind one bit.
Strange guy ... Or maybe just nice?
The rest of the night passed peacefully and quietly spent with a book and in the company of his three cats.

"Oh, holiday tomorrow, forgot." Gary muttered as he paid the cab driver and got off at his stop. His apartment was empty, strewn with beer cans and pieces of clothing flung over the furniture. He kicked off his shoes and sank down on the couch as his thoughts drifted to the young man.

He'd seen John around before at work, the guy was quiet and reserved and intriguing. And apparently interested in men, as he saw today. He wondered if he was doing ok. Still musing, he drifted off to sleep, half dressed on his untidy couch.
