"It's nice to meet you, Astoth. And really? That's so nice of you!", said the white haired demon excitedly and walked back to the stall. "There it is. It's fire squid in syrupy sauce. They are really good and have such a pretty colours~"
The seller recognised Astoth right away. One didn't go by without knowing people that were powerful enough to become one of the blue bloods in the demon's kingdom. That would be simply unwise. Still Makiro was blissfully oblivious to that fact, his tail showing he was quite happy right now.

He stared at Makiro behind as he walked to the stand and smiled at house naïve the young demon was. He made eye contact with the seller grinned and put a finger to his mouth letting the seller know it would be best to keep his identity a secret from the young demon. He walked up next to the boy and smiled "you know I might just have to try one myself, good day sir I'd like 2 of those fire squid treats please" he said sliding his finger into a small notch from the inner side of his armor that was very close to his crotch and pulled out a small pouch to pulled out a large old coin "I'm sure this will cover it and then some, keep the change" he said handing the man the coin

"Oh, okay then. I'm sure you would like it", he said, smiling and choosing this time a dark violet one for himself, wanting to see how that one was tasting.

"Yes, yes, o-of course, Sir", said the male, knowing however much he wanted to warn the little cutie he couldn't if he appreciated his life, the no rest was a kind of a bribe and the seller knew he couldn't say no. "Have a good day, Sir."

Makiro was sucking on the tip of the head of fire squid, discovering it had a taste of grapes. He was happy since he really did like grapes. His eyes looked here and there, the full basket in his other hand as his eyes focused on some water birds, small spirits that took the shape of birds and were living in the water.

Astoth watched the young demon sucking on the squid and licked his lips before turning and looking at the treat in his hand, it was red and tasted like strawberrys "wow this is pretty good, I'm glad I tried it" he said as he took a bite out of the squid. It was taking everything in his power not to grab the boy teleport him to his dungeon and chain him up. He wanted to take advantage of him, but it was too soon for that.....he needed to gain his trust before breaking it. He noticed the young demon watching the water sprites "I love watching the sprites fly like that."

The red innocent eyes blinked and then rested to the big male, small smile adoring the almost white lips as Makiro nodded his head happily.
"Yes, they look pretty like that, right? When I go to work in the morning I need to pass the river and they are always there. The chirp to each other, the sounds so watery relaxing. It depending on the level of the water it's all different..", he said and the realised something. "I'm sorry. Am I keeping you from something? S-sorry..."

He smiled as he listen to the young demon talk the place his hand on Makiro's head "no accually I was all done with work and was hungry, and I've eaten. i can talk for a little while longer butI do have some thing's I need to do, but I would like to talk some more if u would want to sometime." he said looking Makiro in the eyes hoping the boy would say yes, but it didn't matter if he said no......he would be seeing him again anyway.

"Sure. I wouldn't mind. Uhm.. would you like to exchange waves of our magic crystals? I work so I can't talk then but when the sun is setting I'm always home by then", said the demon cheerfully, his tail moving happily behind him while he chewed on the squid and waited for the other to answer.
It was rare for someone as big and as intimidating to want to befriend him but Makiro was a very accepting guy, open hearted to everyone that wanted to know him better. The short demon sneezed softly, rubbing his nose. The truth was he didn't feel that good today, still someone needed to cook.

He smiled and reached into the small area where he pulled out his money pouch and pulled out a very old black gem and held it out and waved his palm over it and it hummed softly and glowed with a dark purple light "well this is my crystal, I hope yours is compatible mine is.......quite old" he was smiling at the young demon "what do you do for work?"

Makiro blinked at the crystal, it being his first time seeing something like that. He was used that most of the crystal were in bright colours. Anyway he pulled out his own, a pure, white crystal. He felt something was off but after manipulating it a little bit both crystals caught a connection.
"Done~ And I'm working in art shop as an artisan/craftsman", he said, smiling brightly. "I'm the specialist when it comes to glass manipulation and imbuing. And you? Where are you working, Astoth?"

He smiled putting his crystal away "wow sounds like a fun job, you must be very talented." he said be for hesitating at the others question. He had to be careful answering this question "I guess you can say I'm a bit of an Entrepreneur, I do a little of this and that, I kinda help humans and demons, I'm well off so the work I do I do in my spare time for fun." he said smiling, he wasn't lying exactly, but before the young demon could ask any more questions about his work "I'm happy I got to talk to you but I really must take my leave, I can't be late duty calls. I'll contact you at sunset. Oh and thank you for intro ducking me to this great fire squid treat." he said smiling and placing his hand on Makiro's head and teleporting before the young demon could respond.
