Heartwarming. Was the word that he felt himself thought as he followed them inside. Looking around. Sometimes...you don't need the others to accept you. Zero stared at the place. They have each other and that means more than anything than to have no escape and be along. Zero thought of his house, where his alchohalic mom was and sighed. Running his hand across the books and smiled to himself. Seeming to be in his own world as of now.

Hiro sat down on his bed and said" I see you're interested in Leonidas's books." Aki said, grabbing a Xbox 360 controler" his books are interesting but I'd prefer video games over everything." Blake said" ya because you're an idiot." Aki snorted and Ishika said" Blake you shouldn't be so mean all of the time. Ya right like I would give a shit about what Aki thinks." He let out a sigh and said" why did I have to be stuck with a personality like you anyway. Because your rude and I'm trying to change that. Why don't you shut up." Sam said" don't mind Ishika he has a second personality." Sam grabbed an unfinished drawing from the wall and sat down starting to draw.

Zero stopped to pause his music. Turning around to actually try to hear what they say. It has became a habit that if he doesn't like you, and doesn't want to hear your voice. He would put his headphones on. Zero nodded softly as he hummed. "So he wrote these..." He grinned slightly and watched them bicker. Giggling a little and smiled. "They're both interesting." He shrugged and walked over to watch Aki play the games. "No worries. I don't mind." He smiled.

Aki said" if you're looking for Leon he's probably in his room writing another story. His room is the farthest down the hall. Ya that asshole gets his own room with Blake because he's the leader and Blake is his second in command isn't that correct Blake." Blake said" that is true after all we were the first people in the group." He was sitting at a desk reading one of Leon's books.

Zero snorted a little. "Kay thanks for reading my mind." he giggled softly and hummed. Walking down the hallway and ran his hand against the wall. Zero thought about this place and smiled. He liked these people. But he wouldn't want to overstay.

Leon heard footsteps and looked over his shoulder waiting for whoever it was to knock. He was writing yet another story and yet he ran out of ideas.

Zero hummed softly to himself as he stopped at the door Aki told him. He figured he'd knock first. "Hey Leon? Aki said you're in your room..." He said, while knocking.

Leon said" come in already." He turned back to the new book and started writing again. His blind eye started hurting again and he laid his head on his hand wincing a bit.

Zero went inside and shuts the door slightly. Looking around the room and stared at Leon. "Are you okay? You look like you're in pain." He said softly. Walking over to Leon and place a hand on his shoulders.

He said, shivering a bit" it's nothing that I can't handle it's happened many of times and each time I've handled it by myself. It's just my scar reacting to something." After a few minutes the pain disappeared and he sighed.

Zero frowned as he turned Leon's head to look at the scars. "...I shouldn't be butting into your business...but I've taken care of many wounds myself before so..." He looked into Leon's eyes. "May I take care of it? Whether it's physically or mentally... Shouldn't hurt if it's a scar from a long time ago."

He stared at Zero and said" and how are you going to manage that. I've had this scar for five years now and it reacts to something every so often."

Zero ran a few fingers through his hair and sighed. "Five years..." it shouldn't hurt by now... It's probably a mental thing. Zero sighed a little and leaned in. Looking to the eyes. Taking notes of it mentally.

Leon was a bit confused and blinked his scarred eye was a very light blue meaning it was blind and his good eye was a very dark blue but neither showed any emotion.

Zero stared into the pale eyes and frowned slightly. Leaning closer to look into it. Their face about 5 centimeters away from each other, but Zero doesn't seem to notice it.

He started to feel a bit uncomfortable. He glanced away and out of a broken window. He tried to ignore the fact that Zero was so close to him.

Zero blinked when the contact broke and stepped back. Blushing badly and looked away as well. "S-Sorry...I got ...lost." He rubbed his cheeks. "I'm sorry. I'll leave now..." he muttered and turned toward the door. Couldn't believe at what he just did and bit his lips. That's why your mom will never love you... You're a creep.

Leon said" Zero before you go I could tell you what happened to my eye." He lifted a hand to his blind eye and said" that is if you want to know."

Zero stopped but didn't turn around. "...If you don't mind me knowing." He needed to make sure he wipe that blush off of his face before turning around to stare at his eyes again. What a shame. His eyes are pretty.

He sighed and said, standing up and grabbing a book from the shelf" you can either listen or read or just not know. It's your choice not mine."

"I'll listen to you." Zero said, staring at him with a look and tilted his head. "That is if you're sure you can share it with me."

He gave a smirk and said" I've told the story to the others so a sixth person wouldn't kill me now would it?" He sat down with a sigh and said" it started five years ago this very day. I didn't realize how many people I was fighting. I fought like a warrior but I almost lost my eye that day."

Zero chuckled softly and leaned against the wall. Listening to him. Which was actually hard for Zero to do unless he really cared. "I guess not." He smiled before frowning at the other when he heard about the fights. Nodding softly.

He said" as my clan's fighter and leader I had to protect them even if it meant risking my life. I decided to take a challenge."


-flash back-

An unknown stranger said" you're Leonidas correct." Leon said" ya what about it?" The stranger said" you have a fight request do you accept and if so then go to park at midnight." Leon said" I accept." The stranger nodded and took off.

That night Leon went to the park and waited after a few minutes he realized that there was more than one group of people. He realized that there was four groups each with about twelve members. He charged at the first group without any hesitation. He ended up knocking four people out before someone landed a punch on him. He turned and attacked violently and without mercy. He turned to the others and landed a kick to one of their sides before four members of different groups held him still.

Leon thrashed around trying to get loose but couldn't the next thing he knew a leader walked up to him. In the leader's hand he held a knife and a piece of cloth. The leader said" Soran take the cloth and tie it so that he can't really be heard. If you need help then have Ren help." Soran grabbed the cloth and tried to make Leon open his mouth but he wouldn't. Soran had Ren help and Ren pressed two pressure points in my neck making me open my mouth.

Soran slipped the cloth through the corners of my mouth and tied it in behind my head. Ren then let go Leon tried to speak but the sound was muffled. The leader grabbed me by the hair and said" I really am going to enjoy this." He took the knife and ran it across my eye. Leon tried to yell but nothing came out. Blood pooled into his mouth and that was when he lost it. He got loose and untied the cloth spitting it out before attack the leader with no signs of mercy or hesitation.

Zero listened to the story and felt a bit uneased. Looking down as he imagined that night and hugged himself. Only nodding to what the other was saying and bit his lips. "...I'm sorry." He whispered. Feeling anger at the person that did this to him. To such amazing eyes he has... Zero looked up, obviously a little pissed. It wasn't fair... It wasn't fair that basically four groups....a whole gang against one person...that wasn't fair...it was never fair. That made him mad. What did he ever do to them that they would gang up on Leon and beat him up? Scar... an art.

He let out a sigh and said, rubbing the back of his head" Look it's late if you want to stay here you can but right now I have a story I need to finish writing." He turned around and started writing again.

Zero looked up and blinked. "...I don't want to cause trouble." He frowned slightly as he felt his phone vibrate. He picked up his phone and answered it. "...Hello?" Loud yelling could be heard. Since the room were so quiet, Leon could hear everything. "Where are you, you little shit!?" Zero pulled his headphones up and said softly. "I'm at the library, mother..." He answered. Not really listening since she always yells of the same things over and over. "You know what? Don't bother coming back... piece of crap." Zero nodded, even though he couldn't really hear her and shut the phone off. Oh well. He would really just go to the library... Hm...Or the park. The weather's not that bad.

Leon asked" could you call her back that was your mother correct if so could you call her back and give me the phone." He had a grin on his face and his eyes were closed. He tilted his head a bit still wearing a grin.

"Hm?" Zero looked at him and pulled his headphone off now that she done ranting. "Oh sorry... She's always like that... Call her back and give you the phone?" Zero blinked and scratched his head. "...Well...I guess..." He said. Calling her back and hands him the phone. "don't know why you'd want it."

He smiled and said" no one treats people like they do us we refuse to let them mistreat other." He waited until the mother answered.

Zero stared at him and blinked. A little confused. "Mistreat? But she's been like that ever since I remember..." He smiled at him. "It's fine. I'm used to it. You really don't need to..." He looked at him. The mother answer and scowled. Obviously drunk. "What the fuck do you want, trash!?"

He cleared his voice and shouted, loud into the phone" You bitch learn you damn place don't not treat your son like his worthless because if you do I will find you and I'll make you regret the day you started treating your son like garbage. If that didn't get through your goddamn skull then how about I force it in. I will not tolerate my classmates parents treating their child like trash you got that bitch." He then waited for a reply. Everyone else was looking down the hall into the room wide-eyed.

Zero's eyes widen as he looked at him. Blinking at the time and found himself. Yelping a little and blinked. His mom only growled and bit her lips. "Who is this!?" She was furious before hanging up in his face and left Zero stunned.

Leon handed Zero the phone and Aki and Ishika laughed. Blake said" at least he's mind is still set on protecting others." Sam said, before rushing away" Yes finally I can add onto my manga." Hiro said" honestly he's as bullheaded as ever." Leon turned back to the story and continued writing.

Zero smiled softly as he nodded. Shoving the phone inside his pocket and smiled. "Thanks..." He smiled. He liked him. He's nice. Caring. Zero scratched his head. "I'll be leaving now." He said. Seeing that he only saw 6 beds. He didn't want Leon to hate him for troubling him.

Leon said" if you never noticed there is one other bed it's a fold away bed also known as the coach or if you want a real bed you can have mine because I'm going to be up for a while."

Zero looked up as he smiled softly. "Thanks a lot." He sat down on Leon's bed. "Do you have spare clothes here? Or you don't mind me sleeping with it." Or naked. Not that he cared.

Leon paused and said" what's your size?"

".....small." He looked at him. They're all way taller than him. He wouldn't mind it if there's no clothes and he sleeps naked.

Leon shouted" yo Aki lend Zero some clothes." He looked at you and said" Most of us might be taller than you but Aki is also wearing the size small." Aki brought in some of his clothes and gave them to Zero.
