"I'm more computer geek than a game geek", he said, taking the glass from Gary and making them both drinks. "Yes. With computers my true geekness is coming on the day light. I call it passion but well.. Maybe I'm wrong."
John put readt drink before Gary and sat on the couch once more.

Gary gave him one of his sexy lop sided smiles and gratefully reached for the drink.

"Hey John, mind if I ask you something a bit personal? When was the last time you had anyone spend the night? Male or female, that is?"

"In sexual way? Or just friends?", he asked, as he drunk a bit too much to be embarrassed by the question.

Gary swirled the ice in his glass.

"That hardly matters. I'm asking when was the last time you trusted someone enough to let them spend the night with you?"

This time John blushed.
"W-well.. Apart Jane and Mike... two years? I don't remember so well..", he said and looked on his knees. "Does it really matter?"

"I'd say yes," Gary smiled gently, "I'm grateful that you trust me enough. That's why. If you're done with your drink, I'll go wash the glasses."

"Yes, I'm done", he said putting his empty glass on the table.
John with a sigh leaned back on the couch and let his mind wander. He wasn't thinking about anything specific... just drifting.

Gary finished washing the glasses and carefully put them away. He returned to the couch yawning widely. The episode of shopping, then tackling John's jerk of an ex, then all the videogames and card games with dares had tired him out.

"I'm beat, buddy. Need some sleep."

"Okay. I am actually too", said John standing up and taking out the sheets and preparing Gary's sleeping place. "Here you go. All ready. Need anything else?"

"One last thing."

Gary went and picked up each of the three kittens from their big basket and held them near his face, as they rubbed against his face and marked him with their scent. He smirked and put them back into the basket, where they were asleep again almost instantly.

"Now I can sleep in peace."
