Akira almost beamed with happiness when Josh prised him. It felt good to be prised.. even more because this time even he himself was pleased with the resault.
"What would you put in astrology room, Master?", he asked as his thoughts went to what Josh was telling him ealier. |
Making whatever was left, Josh smiled in return, seeing Akira smile always made him happy. His question thought surprised him a bit, looking down at the food and taking a moment before answering. “I’d put my telescope in there of course. And I’ve always wanted a room with glass all along the ceiling, so that I can see the stars without going outside.” Smiling at the thought, Josh took a deep breath and spoke of his dream room.
“Also, loads of books in bookcases, adorning the walls. Also, the walls themselves would be decorated with the main stars, signs of astrology, and hopefully when the lights are off, they glow…” Josh shook his head and got back into reality. “But that’s a vision. Not sure if it’ll turn out like that.” he said softly. |
Akira tried to visualise everything that Joash was talking about and decided it would be a really nice room. And those all books.. Though probably he couldn't go inside so... But it would be still a nice room..
"Would they be all about astronomy?", he asked, seeing that everything was ready so he went to the sink to wash his hands. |
Josh finished up on the last one and washed his hands as well, looking at Akira and taking a moment before answering. “Yes, well…most of it would be astronomy. I wouldn’t mind adding more, maybe even having an area for artwork.” he smiled. “An aisle, desk with proper lighting, a tablet and laptop, hm that can be your area.” Josh smiled a little more. He had no plans on Akira leaving, so it would be nice to have a ‘small’ area of that room since it would be locked almost all times due to it only being somewhere Josh and Akira could go to.
Once he finished washing his hands, Josh brought the ravioli over to Sangre who thanked them both and placed it into a pot of boiling water. |
When he heard there would be a place for him he was just as surprised as he would be if someone would tell him that from the sky fell cows instead of rain. Not moving he felt his heart beat faster. A place that would be only for him? It sounded like a.. dream. So far it all felt like a dream. Because who would pick someone from the street, give him food, a room to live in.. take care of that person.. treating him like.. he was precious. Showing him so many things that he even didn't know they existed? Showing him the world wasn't as scary as he thought it was? Akira bit on his lower lip as his eyes teared up a bit. Was it all really a truth? What would he do if it all ended.. just like every dream does?
|
Sangre had already finished the fish, squeezing a little lemon on top and making a vinaigrette. Josh then waited for the ravioli, as he did he caught a glimpse of Akira and he couldn’t help but to notice his beautiful eyes glossed with tears.
Softly, Josh held his hand and brought him towards the tables so that Harumi and Sangre couldn’t hear. Looking into his eyes, Josh leaned down a bit so he could be closer to the other man. “Are you okay Akira?” He asked, concerned that something might be wrong. Gently, Josh brushed his fingers against Akira’s cheek and smiled a little, trying to reassure him. |
Akira flinched when Josh took a hold of his hand all of a sudden and pulled him towards tables. Hearing the question he just nodded, rubbing his eyes.
"I-I'm fine", he said, his voice trembling a bit just like he himself. That was just another thing that changed. Who would ask him if he was okay in the past? No one never did that. No one cared. And now.. Akira started to sob almost inaudibly, covering his face with his slim, pale hands. |
Josh could tell Akira wasn’t fine, evidentially he was covering his feelings up, not being used to expressing them with others. When Akira began to sob, Josh felt his heart nearly clench, not knowing he was crying because of all of the good that happened, in fact he believed it was the opposite.
Carefully, Josh wrapped both of his arms around Akira, leaning his head down so he could be right against him, embracing him as much as he possibly could. Instead of trying to make him stop, Josh just stayed silent, holding him in his arms and letting him express his emotions while he himself felt his own. |
After some longer time Akira calmed down. Sniffling a bit he wiped his eyes as his body stopped to tremble. Letting out a shaky sigh he shook his head.
"I'm sorry for.. t-that", he whispered, blushing a bit and looking at Josh with his eyes red from crying although his face was already dry. Now when he stopped he wished he wouldn't react like that. It was so.. improper to behave like that. Master had enough worries without him breaking in tears like that. How.. disgraceful.. |
Josh stayed like that until Akira finally calmed down enough to speak. Looking into his eyes, he tried to stop from frowning. His eyes looked so pink after crying, and Josh just wanted to make sure he feeling okay afterwards.
“Don’t be sorry about that Akira. Do you feel better now?” he wondered while brushing his fingers along the back of Akira’s head, unaware of what was on his mind. |
