He smiled as he heard they would see the fireworks. It sounded like a beatiful thing to see and he wouldn't want to miss it. New Year.. Taht would be another new thing to him to see. Akira was startled at first just like Josh did when he was hugged but then he smiled softly and gave back the hug. Then he smiled some more as his blonde hair were ruffled by Sangre. It was really good to hear that Harumi and Sangre liked this day.
"Thank you", he said softly as they were left alone. Then he saw the figurine that Sangre done from the chocolate was still on the table. He took it to th fridge really careful to not trip with it. |
Sangre and Harumi gave one final wave before the gardener began speaking to the chef quickly, a smile on her face while walking out of the kitchen.
Josh smiled a little, heading to the sink and turning on the faucet Rinsing the dishes first, Josh then began to add a little soap and begin to wash the dishes. He glanced at Akira, seeing him put the sculpture away and smiling at how slow and careful he was. “Did you have a good time today Akira?” Josh wondered while focusing mainly on the plate he was holding. |
"Yes.. though I wish I would be less nervous", he said softly as he put the figurine in the fridge.
Then he went ant took the cutlery to put it in the sink for Josh to wash it. After that was done he took dustpan and brush and started to clean from the tables. "Who eats here? I never see here other people?", he asked curiously. |
Josh tilted his head to the side and smirked. “You did really good today though, I’m proud of you.” he said while glancing at Akira and then focusing back on the dishes he was washing.
When he was done, Josh began to dry everything off, glancing over at where Akira was with the tables and smiling as he explained. “Well, usually we eat a bit earlier, or later depending on the day. There’s a schedule for meals….at eight in the morning is breakfast, one in the afternoon for lunch, and then six for dinner. Snacks between of course, so most of the time we’re just off their schedule. I guess.” Josh said with a calm tone of voice. Finishing completely, Josh washed his hands, dried them and then walked over towards Akira so he could help clean up. |
"I did? When?", asked Akira really surprised.
Actually he thought it was other way around. Then he thought about the schedule. It seemed reasonable. He really ate on many different times lately... and master with him. He never ate at nine. It was much ealier or later than that. Seeing master approaching him he smiled. "It's the last table. Um... I was thinking.. can we take with us some sandwiches and something to eat and drink? I'm... I.. if it's not I don't need it", he said really softly the last things. |
Josh looked at the young man and thought before speaking. “Well, you’ve been doing very well around everyone, even if it’s Sangre and Harumi I’m happy to see you working so well with us all.” Josh smirked. It was nice to see him so calm with the two people he trusted, because now that he’d be going for a week, he wouldn’t have to worry as much.
Just as Akira mentioned sandwiches and drinks, Josh was already on his way to the fridge to pull out some things to make the sandwiches. “I’ have no problem with that. Plus I want to stay up another few hours with you….we might get hungry and you need to eat more, get a little more meat on those bones of yours.” Josh smiled and took out the bread as well as ham, and some slices of chicken. |
Hearing that Akira chuckled and then went to the fridge to take out the cheese, mayonaise and tomatoes. Some butter a well. Then he started to do a lot of sandwiches thinking more of master than himself. After he was done he looked inside the fridge and saw a chocolate there.
"Would that be fine for a dessert?", he asked softly. |
Getting everything prepared, Josh made a few sandwiches as well and put them in plastic bags to ensure they didn’t get stale. Looking at what Akira was doing, Josh nodded his head and walked over to the fridge in order to grab a few bottles of water for them to drink.
“Chocolate sounds delicious.” Josh smiled, kissing the top of Akira’s head when passing him and then heading to the counter so he could hold a few things at once. “Would you like anything in particular to drink?” He asked while placing everything in plastic bag, to make it easier to carry. |
"Yes.. Can we take chocolate milk with us?", he asked pleadingly, his green eyes on Josh. "I would like to taste it. It sounds really good.. So can we?"

“Chocolate milk it is.” Josh said with a soft smile on his face, taking the carton from the fridge and closing it. “Is that all?” he wondered, checking the bag to make sure he had the sandwiches as well as the chocolate milk. Just in case he had water on the side, not knowing if maybe they had too much sugar for one night.
