He looked in shock again. Because it was him that got him fired. "I am so sorry." he said and lowered his head. "If I was here sooner...you would still have your job." he said in a sad voice. He looked like tears were about to leak from his eyes. "But...what is it that you want from me? I mean if you were bothering him for wanting to get together with him. I can understand that. But I don't get is why me?" he asked.

Lou stopped twisting the apron when he saw Kobi's eyes water. He frowned and calmed down, listening to Kobi without looking away. When asked the question, he frowns, "Because you're sweeter than Tim, much more gorgeous, and always happy.... Plus, I just want to make Tim miserable for what he did to me." He hisses the last part, then sighs and calms down again, wrapping his arms around Kobi like a big brother would, "Hey, don't cry. It's my fault I quit. Everything I've done has been out of revenge, of course it would come back and bite me. Don't be so down, I'll find another second job." He pulls away from the hug and smiles softly, then says, "And maybe we can go out sometime?" He asks, making it hard to understand if he meant as a couple or as friends.

He quietly gasped when he was pulled to the chest of Lou into a brotherly hug. He sniffled once and looks up at him. Listening to him telling him that what happened between him and Tim was not his fault. That he knew that trying to get back at Tim would bite him in the butt someday. But what shocked him more was his reply to his question. Making him blush even more. When he was finally pulled away. he looked better and there were no signs of him crying. When asked if he would like to go out with him sometime. He was thinking in as friends short of way. He smiled and nodded his head. "Of course. But only if you leave Tim alone." he told him in a serious manner. "I understand that he had hurt you in the past, but you sometimes stress him out and I don't like seeing that. So if you lighten up on him. I wouldn't mind going out with you." he said in a warm friendly smile.

Lou smiles a little, kissing Kobi on the forehead, "I'll do my best..." He says, then sighs, "Now I have to go find another job. I'll talk to you later..." He says, smiling happily.

He smiles again when kissed on the forehead. Thinking it was just a friendly gesture. He waved to Lou and wished him the best of luck to finding another job. Hoping that he would. Speaking of jobs. He was running a little behind his. So he finally clocked in and was about to leave. When he went to his locker and pulled out the water bottle. Drinking the remaining liquid down his throat. Then he was off.

Right when he exited, he noticed Ezekiel and Tim talking in the entrance way. They were most likely talking about work, and when a customer came in, they would welcome them and wish them a good meal, and when someone would leave they would ask them to come again, and they seemed pretty into their conversation at the same time. They looked so serious and business-like, but cheerful at the same time. Ezekiel's eyes wandered to Kobi and he smiled, "There's my train wreck. How has he been?" He asked, going over to Kobi and looking over him approvingly, "How's working for Tim?"

When he walked out he looks at the two of them and was so amazed as to how so business like they were. While he was nothing but a humble waiter. Taking orders and sending the food out. But as he looks at his former boss. He felt his heart racing and was shaking like he just got out of ice water. The heart rate went faster as Ezekiel walks over to him. When asked how he was doing he smiles and chuckles. "Hey now, I am not that bad. I wouldn't call myself a train wreck for say." he said in a joking matter. "But joking aside. I am doing very well or so I think." he told him. "So what do you think? I believe that Tim is doing a wonderful job running the place. You made the right choice as to who should be manager to the second Rhythm."

Ezekiel chuckles softly and pats Tim on the back, and Tim just smiles a little and when Ezekiel isn't looking, he winks at Kobi. Ezekiel sighed a little, "You're a hard worker, Kobi. I can see that in you. Even though you can be clumsy some times, I know you're doing your best, and your best ends up being better than most people. I heard that there was a waiter who quit today, and that brings the reputation down in my book. But with such a star waiter like you, I'm sure it'll jump right back up." He said, nodding a little and taking out a small planning book and writing down some notes.

He blushes a bit when told that he was a hard worker, but was still a bit clumsy at times. But what got him more nervous was him telling that the rep of the restaurant could go down because of Lou leaving. Made him think that he might think that Tim can't run the place. So once he was told that with a star like himself. It could go right back up. He nodded his head. "I won't let you or Tim down!" he said excitedly, a little to much excited. With that he excuse himself and quickly gets to work. Smiling at the customer, talking to them politely, writing down the orders and taking them to the kitchen. He was some of moving at a rapid speed.

Tim laughed a little, "You're too nice to him. His boyfriend might get jealous." He says, crossing his arms, "Might think you two have something going on." He joked. Ezekiel laughed a little, but turned serious afterward, "Tim, I'm worried about this place. Barely three months in and someone already quit." Tim frowned, "that's my fault, really. We had a personal relationship before, it got in the way of work for both of us. It won't happen again." He said, looking stern and sure. Ezekiel blinked slowly, then looked at Kobi, "I can't trust you as much as I would like to if he continues working for you. Since you're dating, there'd be favoritism going on. I can't have that..." He says, sighing. Tim's eyes widened, "Don't tell me you're firing him!" He whispered hastily. Ezekiel shook his head a little, "I'm moving him. Somewhere where he'll be less of a mess. I'm thinking some sort of janitorial work, maybe busboy." "You're demoting him?!" He whimpered, "But you just complimented him!"

Kobi was doing fine. His hands were a little shaky and his breathing was a little hard. But he continued to do his job. Walking by Tim and Ezekiel. He was carrying a big load of dishes when he was walking by them again for the seventh time when he catch him talking about moving. He tensed up and quickly walked away from from. Would they just talking about him? Was he going to be move? Away from Tim? Was he bringing him down. He stumbled and almost broke a few plates and he manages not to. A few minutes later there was a lous crash noise, some screams a terror and one of the other waiters walked over to both Tine and Ezekiel. "Boss! There's an emergency! Kobi had collapse and it seems like he's having a seizure!" he informed them both, but was looking at Tim.

Tim's eyes widened and he quickly rushed over dropping on his knees next to Kobi and grabbing a bundle of dropped napkins, wadding them up and forcing it between Kobi's teeth to keep him from biting himself, but also to keep him from choking. "Well, call the ambulance!" He yelled, glaring at anyone around him and trying to keep the wad of napkins in place, hoping it'll end without any damage. His face was serious and blank, and he wasn't shaking, but inside he felt himself falling apart, worried about how this happened...

Quickly after the order, some of the waiters had called for an ambulance. Kobi's eyes were dilated eyes, his limbs were shaking about and beads of cold sweat was running down his face. It wasn't long before the medics came and strapped him to the stretcher and rolled him into the back of the ambulance. The waiters and waitresses looked worried as to what will happen to the lad. Who was on his way to the hospital.

Tim watches them sternly as they take Kobi away, and when it's all over he yells at his workers to go back to work, then starts apologizing the the customers. When all that is done, he hurried back to his office, Ezekiel following close after. When they both get into his office, Tim starts gasping and panting, sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall. "H-h-he.... he was..." Ezekiel just sighed, "He'll be fine....." He said, trying to comfort the man. He was worried too, but he didn't want Tim to break down any time soon, and he knew Tim just needed a support at the moment. "Go see to him, I'll manage the place." Tim looked at his boss with shock, worry, and happiness. "Thank you so much." He said, grabbing his jacket and keys and rushing over to the hospital. Ezekiel just got to work, doing what he does best.

When Tim arrived at the hospital and asked when Kobi was staying. The nurse points down the hall and tells him the room number and how to get there. Once he went into the room. He could see his lover resting on the bed. With machines and IV bag hooked into him. He was also hooked up to a Hemodialysis. He was starting to look better then back at the restaurant. Right now he was asleep. By the heart monitor, his blood level was high and his heart rate was fast, but was slowing down at a normal rate. Nothing to be to concern about. That's when the doctor walked in. "Excuse me, are you with this young lad?" he asked.

Tim felt his heart sink when he saw all these things hooked up to him, but calmed down when he saw the heat rate coming down to normal. when the doctor showed and asked him, he nodded, "Yes. Is he okay? Why did this happen?" He asked quickly, going to Kobi's side and kneeling next to his bed, holding his hand.

The doctor looked down at his chart and begins to speak. "From what we found in his blood sample was he had an extreme caffeine intoxication. It was beyond a human's lethal dose. It's quite a miracle that he is still alive. From what test shows, even an elephant would be jumpy." he explains to him. Then walks over to the bed, just to check out the Hemodialysis devise. "But that wasn't the only issue we had. Appealingly he also had a stroke when he arrived. But it was only a minor one. He should be fine with him being young. We are however going to keep him here for a few days." he informed him.

Tim swallowed hard and nodded, feeling anger boil up within him. He kissed Kobi's hand softly, "Can I stay for a little longer?" He asks, deciding it wasn't Kobi's fault, but the pressure he had put on him. He sighed softly, hoping he would wake soon.

The doctor nodded his head. "Of course you may. I'll leave you two now. Excuse me." he said and left the room. Even though he was asleep and breathing quietly. His room was loud with all the machines beeping and ringing. About 20 minutes. A grunt could be heard from the young lad. His eyes slowly began to open and looks around the room. He was a little out of it and his vision was blurry. He had no idea where he was or who was in the room. All he heard were the beeping. Letting out a few mumbling noises.

Tim was resting his head, but when Kobi started moving and making noise, he quickly looked and smiled a little, "Hey...." He says softly, "How're you feeling...?"

He groans loudly. "T-Tim?" he muffled out. Blinking his eyes a few times. Looking over at his lover. "Tim...What's going on?" he asked. Looking around the room again. This time his vision was clear and notice that he wasn't at the restaurant. "Where are we and why like this?" he asked only this time sounding a little scared.

Tim smiled when his name is called, and squeezes Kobi's hand, "Calm down, you had a bad reaction to the energy drinks you took and ended up at the hospital." He touches his cheek, "How are you feeling?"

He looked a little shocked when he heard that he was in the hospital. When asked how he was feeling. It short of looked like he was going to go back asleep at any second. "I-I feel a little tired." he told him. Just then the heart monitor was starting to beep very fast. "Wha-what about the restaurant. What about Ezekiel? Don't tell me I messed up." he said, sounding very panicked. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to. I was so nervous and I was feeling really tired. So I filled a water bottle with super strong energy shots. So I could keep up with everything. I don't want to move back. I want to stay with you. Please don't send me away." he begged with tears in his eyes. The beeping of the monitor was going faster. Making a second beeping sound meaning that his heart was beating to fast and may have a heart attack or cause some damage.

Tim was glancing back and forth between Kobi and the heart monitor, trying to interrupt his lover and calm him down. When he finished begging, Tim quickly kissed him, hoping it would calm him down, and wrapped his arms gently around his shoulders, rubbing his back. When he pulled away, he said softly, "You're not leaving. Ezekiel understands, you didn't ruin anything... You don't have to apologize, honey, everything at the restaurant is being taken care of.... Just promise me that you won't take those energy shots? Seriously, they're hurting you, and I don't want to see you here again... or having a seizure..." He whispers, then kisses him again, "I won't let you move away, and if you do, I'll go too. I'm staying with you, and I'll make sure that you stay with me, okay?" He asks, feeling a little worried and glancing at the heart monitor.

After being kissed, being pulled into his arms, rubbing his back smoothly. The beeps were starting to slow down. Going back to it's normal rate. Listening to him explain that he was not going to be moved and that he did not screw up. Kobi was so relief. He thought that he had messed everything up. When told to promise him not to drink the energy shots. He nods his head. He felt his warm and fuzzy inside hearing his lover telling him that he wouldn't let him move unless he goes around him. "I promise not to drink them anymore. I love you so much. I just didn't want to disappoint you." he told Tim. Soon the heart monitor went back to normal.

Tim hugs back and feels really relieved, and quite worried. He just hugs a little tighter, "I love you too.... You'll never disappoint me." He says softly, closing his eyes and just enjoying his lover's embrace and scent. "You did scare me.... though..." He mumbles.

He smiled and nuzzles his head against him. "I'm sorry I scared you." he said. Loosely wrapping his arms around him. But it kind of hurt with all the wires in his arms.

Tim let him, not knowing it hurt him. "You should get rest now. I have to go back to the restaurant, okay?"

Once he was let go, he laid back down and looks up at his lover. "Okay. I am so sorry for everything." he said with a smile on his face.

Tim just laughs softly, "I told you, don't apologize. You did nothing wrong." He kisses him gently, "I'll come back as soon as work is over." And with that, he leaves, glancing back at him with a worried expression, but continuing out the door.

He watches him walk to the door. When he looked back again. His eyes were close, but he was not asleep. He wave to him as his way to see him off. "I'll be here." he told him in a sleepy tone/

As Tim drove back to the restaurant, he started thinking about the reasons Kobi took so many energy shots, and was starting to wonder if it were his fault. He remembered when they were both waiters, he wouldn't panic over things like this, then he wonders if it would be best for Kobi if they were only co-workers, instead of lovers. But he didn't want to let go of Kobi.... He finally decided in his mind that he would be selfish, and cling to Kobi, no matter how much it messed either one of them up.

At the hospital. The young waiter laid him bed. Staring up at the ceiling. Wondering if he was stressing Tim out. He always made him worry because of his reckless moves. He sighed and wondered if it was okay to be with him. Then he was thinking of Lou and loosing his job. Kobi noted himself to ask him about the fight. As he was thinking he was starting to fall asleep. It was long before he was in a dreamless slumber.

Tim, on the other hand, was hard at work, trying to convince Ezekiel that, despite what had happened earlier, this restaurant will flourish and be as popular as the original Rhythm. Ezekiel kept finding issues, but Tim would counter them smoothly, getting Ezekiel's trust.

Kobi rest quietly in the hospital. He woke up now and gain. Staring out of the window, thinking of Tim, Ezekiel, and Rhythm. Wondering how things were going. Worried what was going to happen and if there was anything that he could do to make things better. The doctor came in to check up on him. Seeing if the Hemodialysis was doing it's job. When he saw that hw was clear. He decided to unplug him from it. That's one thing down.

Tim continued running the store, and at one point, when he went back into his office, he saw Lou, leaning against his desk and waiting for him. "I heard something happened to Kobi.... Is he okay?" Tim didn't want Lou there, but he knew he couldn't just blow him off, especially when he was asking for Kobi. "He had a bit of a seizure, but he's in the hospital resting. Don't go bug him, okay?" Lou nodded, then got to the reason of why he was there, "I'm sorry about this morning, really, I need a job, and I screwed it up so easily.... Can you just give me another chance...?" Tim looked doubtful, "You quit on your own accord. It's not my decision to-" "But you can hire me back! Act like it didn't happen! Please, Tim, I really need this job...." Tim was still unconvinced, which drove Lou to literally make a move and wrap his arms around the slightly shorter male, "Come on.... if you don't want to hire me, at least take me back as your boyfriend... I miss you, Tim. It hurts to see you fawning all over that boy..." Tim didn't look Lou in the eye, but didn't push him away either...

Kobi was sitting up from his hospital bed and was looking out of the window once again. He felt so alone in his room. He pouted sadly and let out a long deep sigh. Hoping things are going okay at the restaurant. Then he thought of something that might cheer Tim up. After all this has to one of the most stressful days of his life. He was sure that he was going to love it. He got up from his bed, feeling a little light head from the drugs they have given him and stumbles out of the room. He grabbed a few certain magazine and made some notes. Then he turned to a TV channel and made notes of of the shows on a certain station. "I'm sure Tim is going to love this." he said with a smile on his face.

Tim, on the other hand, was still stuck in Lou's embrace, thinking how comfortable it was to be held like this, but how horrible he feels because of the hug. He was wondering what Kobi would think if he saw them like this. It's not like it was anything dirty, or like cheating, it's just... this is what he should be doing with Kobi, not with Lou... He finally got up the idea to push Lou away, and he quickly said, "If you want your job back, just show up tomorrow. We'll work something out."

After some time. Kobi had finished his little project and smiled happily. For he had planned a date for the two of them. First on the list was a well known pancake house in the area. Next was walk at the park, follow by lunch at a small cafe, a movie, then dinner and last. Since he knew that he wouldn't come out of the hospital for a few days. By the time he came out. There was going to be a fireworks show. So he would take him to that. He smiled happily. Thinking that it would please Tim. It took him hours to come up with that. You could tell with all the magazines and sticky notes around him. He set the plan aside and laid back down. He yawned and fell right to sleep.

Lou looked angry and he puts his hands on his hips, "I don't get it.... What makes Kobi so much better than me?! You said you wouldn't leave me, then you cheat on me with him!" "I didn't cheat on you..." Tim says, glaring at Lou. "Yes you did." said Lou, "You slept with him and told him you loved him when you were supposed to be with me! This isn't the first time you cheated on me, either!" Tims' eyes widened a little, "You knew...?" "Yes I knew! You hate being faithful! Always texting guys when we were out on a date, a different guy each time, too!" Then Lou's eyes darkened and he smirked evilly, "I bet you've been doing the same to Kobi, too, haven't you?" Tim looks away and glares at the floor.
