He listened intently to everything Josh said and then took few longer moments to think about it.
"That's true. I don't understand why you care for me so much but I am still really happy that you do. Never no one cared for me. You gave me so much already.. and made my reality a happy place.. But I'm so.. I don't know so many things.. I'm.. incomplete.. I... j-just don't want you to be disappointed with me.. and regret you didn't found someone better. B-but... on the other hand I.. want to be the one that...", the last words were completely inaudible. |
It was then Josh listened to Akira. What he was saying didn’t bother him, in fact he understood everything completely. When he stumbled off with his words, Josh had to speak in order to make sure he didn’t feel like he said anything wrong.
“Then how about we allow you to feel that completion of yourself, hm? Wait a little longer until we begin to speak of love, to give you that time.” Josh wondered. |
It was really surprising to Akira to hear those words coming from Josh lips. He looked at him and then slowly nodded. That would make things easier for him as would have enough time to learn about some things and..
"If that's not a problem.. I would really like that", he said softly while looking into Josh's maroon eyes. Akira didn't want to hurt his boyfriends feelings.. but he really didn't feel right now like he was good enough to even think about something like love. He wanted to deserve it, change as much as he could so no one would be able to say bad things about master for being with someone like him. There sure was things he couldn't change.. like his social standing.. but other than that he could try. And he would. |
Looking straight into the beautiful eyes before him, Josh nodded slowly and smiled. “Then that’s what we’ll do. Focus on the simpler things before getting to the other stuff. I’d much rather you wait and tell the truth in the future, instead of lie now just to make me happy temporarily.”
Leaning down, Josh pressed his lips to Akira’s shortly before smiling. “Ready to get those books of yours then? Come on, you can come back and cuddle me afterwards, promise.” Josh smiled. |
"I'm not sure if I'm able to lie.. My ex-master never allowed that.. so I'm not sure how too really do that", he said truthfully.
Akira blushed a bit and then nodded, standing up. He looked at himself if he was presentable, fixed his hair a bit and went to his room. He grabbed both books and soon was back. Knocking on the door he then entered masters bedroom. |
“Well that’s a good trait to have.” Josh thought aloud. Of course little white lies could be understandable, but knowing that Akira couldn’t exactly lie wasn’t a bad thing to Josh, although it depended on the situation.
Letting go of Akira’s body, Josh watched as he checked himself over and left. While he was out of the room, he decided to get up off of his bed and walk over to Lady, petting her shortly until Akira returned to the bedroom. When he did, Josh stood up, smiling down at the cat and then glancing over at his boyfriend. “Let me see what you chose then.” Josh said softly while walking over and standing before Akira to look down at the books in his hands. |
Lady was once again sleeping in bed that Josh gave her ealier and purred when he given her some attention.
Akira gave him the books. One seemed to be a tale about dragon and the other one needed to be a romance with such title as 'Heart in Cage'. Though Akira probably didn't know that. Looking at Josh he waited what he would tell about those books. |
Taking both books into his hands, Josh cocked an eyebrow, reading the titles and turning the backs over to see if it gave anymore information. “I haven’t read this one, but this one…I have a few times.” Josh smiled, showing Akira the romance novel and chuckling.
“It’s rather romantic, actually now that I think of it, the main character almost reminds me of you.” Josh hummed, looking at the book with a dragon inscribed into the cover. “But this one looks…cool. This will be a tricky decision what one to read first. Hurry, you choose!” Josh smirked while showing Akira both books and waiting for him to decide. |
Looking at the books once again he tilted his head, listening to Josh. Hearing that master read only one of them made the choice easy. Sure he wanted to read romance.. and even more one with the main character reminding himself but Akira wasn't one that knew how to be selfish.
"The one about dragons, Master", he said softly, no hesitation in his voice. |
Looking straight up towards Akira, Josh was surprised to hear just how quickly he chose. “This one it is. I love dragons, so this will be enjoyable.” He said while heading back to the bed, sitting down and putting the covers over himself. Making sure to leave the other side of the sheets open for Akira, Josh looked over at the other male and smiled, waiting for him to join before even opening the book.
