He was glad to see master so pleased. It made him want to get back to health even more. When master went a bit further he was observing him. It got him quite curious when he saw another flowerpot in his hands. Akira nodded with smile when Josh proposed to take the flower to his room. Daisies were quite simple flowers to take care of. Watering and sun was everything they really needed. 'Thank you, Master. I would love that.'

Josh grinned at the sight of Akira’s smile, glad that he was able to make him show such an amazing expression. Placing the flowerpot on Akira’s lap, he crouched in front of him and touched one of the white petals. “I trust you’ll keep it alive and well. While I take care of you, you take care of this little life.” Josh smirked just slightly.
“We can spend another couple of minutes in here, then we should head back. A lot of writing to do.” Josh insisted just as a yellow butterfly flew close to them both, distracting Josh slightly. “Hm, I think they like you.” he said to Akira blissfully. |
He blinked few times when Josh smirked and nodded with quite serious expression. He would never let die. Akira then looked at the flower on his laps and nodded once again when he heard about going back. It was only natural master must go back. Though hearing about butterflies he looked up and then saw the yellow one. And then there was the blue one and for few moments they looked like they were dancing, taking Akira's attention entirely for few moments. Then another one sat on his hair though he wasn't able to see that.

Due to just how relaxing the atmosphere was, Josh decided to stay a bit longer. He knew Akira liked it here and he himself appreciated everything about the place, so why not stay for at least another couple of minutes?
Noticing the increase of butterflies, Josh watched in admiration as the blue one from earlier joined alongside the yellow. Just as he glanced back at Akira, Josh chuckled lightly at the sight of another which landed atop of his head. “Don’t move.” Josh whispered, slowly getting closer to Akira and very, very slowly reaching his hand out. Inadvertently he got closer to his servant, being merely face to face as he focused only on the butterfly. Putting his finger out, Josh hoped that it would go onto his hand instead of fly away. |
When master got so close to his saying to not move he just listened to him obediently. Red winged butterfly fluttered his wings when Josh got closer but then.. in another second got on his finger. Akira just waited patiently not really knowing what was going on. He wouldn't move till Josh would say he could do that.. although others breath tickled his nose a bit.

Josh smiled widely when the butterfly went onto his finger. Slowly, as slow as he possibly could, Josh moved his hand down between him and Akira at eye level, looking at the butterfly before focusing his line of sight on Akira. “You can move now….this one was on your hair.” Josh chuckled, making sure not to breath onto the small insect. As he looked back at it’s red wings, he allowed the quietness and beauty of the moment to overwhelm them.
Flicking his gaze to Akira’s eyes, then back to the butterfly every once in a while, Josh waited a moment before speaking again, very quietly. “I think butterflies are attracted to you. Since you’re quiet and very still, they feel comfortable around you.” he smirked. |
When he saw the butterfly on master's finger he looked at it, clearly liking to observe it from so close. After all butterflies were so pretty. He sat without a move and looked on the beautiful insect, enjoying the silence and light movement of delicate wings. When master said the butterflies were attracted by him it made him smile a little bit. If that would be true he wouldn't really mind. Those silent and charming creatures made him feel really calm when he looked on on them.

The quiet moment allowed Josh to really take in the beauty. Without words, the only way to express himself was through thought, or expression. Just for a quick moment, Josh could understand how Akira felt -in a sense- or at least the physiological standpoint of the world around him.
Focusing on the butterfly, Josh kept his finger steady, attempting to keep it still while he admired the delicate creature. It was astounding how something so small and brittle could be so beautiful. “Too bad we cant bring this with us. But…better to just let it live where it’s happy.” Josh whispered as he very slowly held onto Akira’s hand, raising it up and placing his finger with the butterfly to him, trying to transport the insect onto the other mans hand just as he did with the caterpillar. “Let’s see if he or she will go to you.” Josh smiled softly. |
Akira knew it was male butterfly. They were smaller, had different colors. Also males had a more pointed forewings for flight aerodynamics. And it was true. The beaty of butterflies laid in how delicate the were.. and how free. The one Josh had on his finger flew away as soon as he tried to give it to Akira. And then he 'told' master what he knew and the one that was gone was a male. 'Taking it with us.. would be wrong. They need to be free.'

Even though the butterfly flew away, Josh still smirked. It was a nice moment, having nothing on his mind other than the insect and Akira. It was all just so carefree. When he looked back at the servant, he was impressed to hear that he knew the gender, knowing instantly that this man in front of him wasn’t stupid at all. He sounded even more intelligent them himself.
Josh agreed to the last of what Akira said, nodding his head and leaning back just a little to give him personal space. “Of course. Forcing something to be captive is never the right thing…and you’re right, they need to be free.” he muttered. Josh was beginning to notice how astounding Akira’s mind was. The sound of the greenery door opening startled Josh slightly, causing him to look back and then suddenly wave at the gardener walking in. Of course at first she looked surprised, it had been months since Josh entered the green house but of course it was a good surprise. “Hello Master.” The short, brown haired woman smiled, wearing her usual uniform and gloves for her job. As she noticed Akira, she smiled in his direction as well. Josh nodded in acknowledgment before glancing at Akira and whispering. “Harumi is the gardener here. You’ll get to know her a little once you start working here.” He smiled slightly before standing back up and stretching. “You ready to go? I can only imagine you’d hate leaving this place, but we’ll return again, I promise.” |
