Akira nodded when master sharing his opinion. As soon as the door opened to the greenery somehow the spell, of it being another world separated from everything, was broken. The women enetering though.. had the same air around her as Sangre and somehow.. didn't stress Akira so much as others. When she smiled at him he nodded with a soft expression. 'Of course I would like to stay longer but I know you have your responsibilities, Master. I'm happy enough that you brought me here today.' Akira was just himself writing that and it was clear for him went first what his master needed or wanted, not him.

Stretching his arms out a little, and making sure he was ready to carry Akira once more, Josh saw what he wrote and smiled once again. He’d allow him to stay here longer but…he found it difficult leaving him alone. He was paranoid as to what might happen if he left his line of sight for just a minute or two.
Despite his own personal, rather selfish thoughts, Josh had to ask. “You can stay here a little longer. I can do work while you stay here….your wellbeing might concern me, but I think I can manage if you’d choose to stay.” Josh said. He wanted to give Akira the chance to choose things in his life, Josh wasn’t his father who had to insist on rules he had to follow. |
'No, Master. I don't want to stay here without you.' Akira knew if master wouldn't be around he would feel insecure and scared. He knew it was pathetic but he wasn't able to change it. It was just part of who he was. Looking at master he started to wrote once again. 'I don't want to sound insolent but why do you do for me so much, Master. I'm really.. someone insignificant. Just a street rat you found on the street. No one ever was so nice to me as you..' Akira looked on his knees. He needed to ask about it but still.. it was scary to wait for the answer.

It was an instant relief to hear Akira’s answer. Josh wouldn’t like to leave him behind, especially when he was so vulnerable. “Very well.” He muttered.
Just before he could pick Akira up, he stopped when he wrote more. Looking at every single word and depicting it, Josh frowned ever so slightly and creased his brow. He had to think about it, really think about it. There wasn’t a instantaneous reaction to his question, in fact Josh actually faltered. It took almost a full minute before Josh started to speak, slowly and almost unsurely. “I’ve never…never really got the chance to care for anyone. My mother for example became incredibly ill when I was young, but I was too juvenile to really help her with much.” Josh furrowed his eyebrows even more before shaking his head. “I’d say I care for you so much because….it’s something I have yet to accomplish. My work here is rather literate and social, nothing that involves much care or concentration. But having the chance to look over you changes that.” Josh then took a deep breath, adding just a bit more with a more confidence to his voice. “Plus seeing someone on the street, as skinny as you, with so much potential. I can’t let that waste away on the curb, even thinking of you starving to death if I didn’t help you…” Josh clenched his jaw at the thought. “I couldn’t imagine.” |
His heart was beating like crazy as he waited for the answer. But once he got it... it just made him tear up a bit. No one ever said he had potential. No one ever washed him.. saved him.. was nice to him. No one ever said he was beatiful.. or smart. He was always called ugly, stupid, useless and so much more. Master even called him intelligent. Trembling he wiped the tears out of his eyes but then they showed there again. Was he stupid or not? He was ugly... or the other way around? Akira felt so confused.. but somehow not alone anymore. He started to have this small hope that master would protect him and give him future that wasn't painful and dark. With all that in mind he couldn't help but sob in his soundless way as his feelings surged out of him.

Josh couldn’t even comprehend the effects he had on Akira, what he was thinking, or what his words had done to him, although right as he saw the young man cry, he stopped speaking altogether and carefully wrapped his arms around him.
Careful of his injuries, Josh held onto Akira for a moment, allowing him to shed the tears, not wanting him to hold them back any longer. “I’ll always be here for you Akira. I promise you that.” Josh whispered to him. He had done nothing wrong, the tears weren’t of pain like the others Josh had seen, it was something entirety different and unreadable to him. Keeping one of his arms wrapped around the smaller man, Josh moved back just a little, using the sleeve of his jacket to wipe away some of the falling tears on Akira’s face wordlessly. Seeing the other man like that nearly made Josh’s eyes begin to tear although he managed to hold them back. |
As soon as he felt Josh's arms wrapping around he clung to him as if looking for warmth and.. something more. When he heard master saying that he would be always there for him he started cry to even harder. After some time he calmed a bit and let go of others male arms. Wiping his tears he sighed, trying to calm himself even more. Then with shaking hand he started write slowly. 'I'm sorry.' His eyes were still shedding tears but he wiped them every time.

The moment could have been a slight breakthrough for Akira. Josh gladly kept his arms around him until he started to calm down, having to check if he was crying still every once in a while before seeing him write once again.
The apology made Josh shake his head, smiling a bit since Akira had no reason for that. “I’m glad that you’re showing me your emotions so vividly. It just shows that you trust me enough to express yourself to me.“ Josh whispered while looking into Akira’s teary green eyes. “Let me take you back to your room. You should rest. I can do my writing in the room with you there and maybe if you’re up for it, you can help me.” Josh muttered as he stayed close to Akira, reassuring him as much as he could. |
He was a bit shaken up for some longer time but then he calmed. He nodded when master said he could help if he would want to. Still.. he wasn't sure why he broke like that. Maybe not why excatly.. but why he was able to do that here, before this man. He wasn't able to find the answer so he just just blushed and looked on his knees, not able to look at master right now.

Giving Akira just a bit more time to recollect himself, Josh kept himself at a certain distance until seeing him look down with those pink cheeks he loved to see. Smiling slightly, Josh went closer to Akira and whispered. “I’m picking you up now. Remember to bring your flower.” He muttered as he placed the flowerpot onto Akira’s lap securely before putting his hands under him.
Once again, Josh picked Akira up without much trouble, the massage from earlier making his arms feel a lot better which made it easy for him to hold the male. As he walked towards the entrance/exit, Josh looked around just one last time before glancing down at Akira and heading through the doors. |
