Vladimir frowned. He couldn't lie to Daemon anymore, not with how much it was hurting him now that he thought Vladimir would drop dead any second. He could, but what would be the point? He gently took Daemon's face between his hands. "I'm not dying, Daemon...I'm...I-I'm a vampire..."

He said those words softly and slowly, giving Daemon time to process them. He then gently released Daemon's face. Vladimir stared, waiting for a reaction. He wouldn't stop Daemon from running away...they always did. It may cut a deeper hole in Vladimir's still heart, but he wouldn't force Daemon to stay. He may be dead and a creature of the night, but he had a heart even if it was a dead one.

Daemon looked into Vladimir's eyes when he held his face in his hands. His green eyes widened when he said he was a vampire. So, they were real and he was one. the creatures of the night. the bloodsuckers. He was one. Daemon felt like he should flee, but when Vladimir let his face go. He just couldn't bring himself to do it. The man was so nice to him and so kind. He just wanted someone with him. And Daemon was that person. The man in front of him was the only person to care for him so lovingly. Daemon shook his head and wrapped his arms around Vladimir's middle before he got on his toes to kiss the man lovingly. "I don't care... at least you're not dying." He murmured against Vladimir's lips.

Vladimir was shocked when the young man held onto him so tightly and kissed him. Relief overtook him and he kissed Daemon back gently while wrapping his arms around him. He broke the kiss after a few moments and ran his fingers into Daemon's wet, still unbrushed inky locks. "You'll stay with me?" he asked softly.

Daemon looked to the man's eyes and smiled. He didn't care that he was a beast of the night. He wanted to stay and he was going to do so. He nodded. "Yes Vladimir. And it explains so much.. the bloodbags. keeping the curtains closed. but.. the scars.. are they from people trying to kill you?" He gently placed his hand on the scars and traced one with his fingers. "Do they hurt?"

"...I've been staked from so many people...angry villagers...priests...hunters...but, they all missed." Vladimir said softly. He gently took Daemon's hand and placed it over the center of the Celtic knot on his chest. "...my heart is here. Even though it rarely beats, I know it is there. Only the blood of the living can bring it to life."

Daemon held his hand over the center of the Celtic knot. He looked at his hand and nodded. "I'm glad they missed. How often do you have to drink blood? You seem to have quite a few blood bags." He looked up at Vladimir. "I realize I'm a living person in your house. Does that... um... make you hungry or something?" He tilted his head a bit, honestly curious to know.

"Alas, I thought one would do me good, but...it seems I have been without the substance longer than I myself remember." Vladimir replied. "Obviously, having a human in the house is...difficult. When we first met, I wanted to drink from you so badly, but...as I became attracted to you, I couldn't find myself to do so and found ways to distract myself from the thoughts. I go out to hunt, but no one has been in these forests for centuries...what with the overpopulation of wolves. They have been my only source for blood, but wolf blood isn't as satisfying."

Daemon nodded as he absorbed the information. If he was going to stay, why not let him drink. His blood was probably the freshest he would get right now. He bit his lip before he looked up at Vladimir. "What happens if you bit a human and drink their blood?"

"I drain their life essence. It is my choice if they turn. Everyone always assumes it takes only a bite, but a vampire who has enough self control can contain his venom." Vladimir replied softly. He knew what Daemon was implying, for him to drink from him. He had enough blood bags that Daemon could recover what blood Vladimir took. He was just worried about hurting him.

Daemon nodded. He was fresh blood and the blood bags could be used for him instead of Vladimir settling for it. He looked at the floor. "I know you know what i'm implying... But... I would be fine with you drinking from me. I trust you." He turned his neon eyes to Vladimir and smiled.
