When Josh pulled him on the bed and wrapped his arms around him he had that great feeling of calming down.. and being safe. It was something he never felt before so it was even more overwhelming. Nuzzling his face into other's chest he took in the smell of Josh and felt two tears making their way out from he closed eyelids. The question that was asked wasn't even noticed with Akira being like that.

Just seeing the state Akira was on made Josh's heart clench in his chest. He really hated the thought of leaving him for a week, and despite readying himself for it mentally, it was as though each hour that passed made Josh's mind rush with more and more thoughts. Having the chance to hold Akira in his arms gave Josh immense happiness, loving each and every second of it, although knowing he would have to leave in the morning...it was bitter sweet.
Without speaking a word, Josh instead nudged his head against Akira's and very softly began to hum a distant melody. His eyes closed and he kept his arms wrapped around his boyfriends body while humming to him tenderly. After a minute passed by, Josh opened his eyes and finished it before then deciding to speak. "My mom would hum that to me each and every night before bed...it made me feel less alone when she did." Josh said, his voice showing a hint of sadness. "Are...you tired?" He then asked, wanting to make sure that he wasn't keeping Akira awake later than he'd like to. |
It really surprised him when Josh started to hum but he soon immersed into it, not really remembering how sad he was few moments ago. Hearing the question he looked up at his boyfriend. 'A bit..' He didn't say that but he wanted to stay awake as long he could and make Josh feel as good as he could, keeping his thoughts positive.. though he himself felt a bit anxious about Josh leaving.

Josh looked over at the time and sighed. It was midnight, twelve in the morning and they had about seven hours to sleep. If they didn't end up sleeping within the next hour or two, they'd be rather tired in the morning, although...Josh selfishly didn't care. He wanted to be awake with Akira and have him there with him until he had to leave.
"We should sleep then..." Josh took a deep breath, looked into Akira's eyes and sighed. "Maybe in twenty minutes, or half an hour?" He whispered while brushing underneath Akira's damp eyes. "I wouldn't be able to sleep right now even if I tried to." |
Akira just nodded. His eyelids were getting heavy but he fought his sleepyness as much as he could. Then he had an idea. It seemed it was impossible for him to not fall asleep sooner or later if they would stay in the bed.. but there were other things they could do together, right? 'Maybe a walk in the garden.. would be nice.. Would you like that, Master?'

Josh looked at Akira's hands when he wrote, seeing he looked rather tired so saying they should stay up made him feel a little guilty. Although hearing Akira's suggestion made Josh smile, liking the idea already. "That would be perfect...and probably very beautiful, especially with the moonlight." Kissing his boyfriends cheek, Josh then slid out from the covers but kept his arm around Akira.
"You sure about it though? If you're tired you should sleep." Josh then said. |
Akira shook his head. 'I don't want to sleep..' That written he stood up and waited for Josh to lead the way. It would be nice to take a walk in the empty gardens, only with the stars shining on them. Wouldn't be like those moment's in books? Silent and full of magic? Thinking of that made him smile a bit.

Josh smiled, seeing just how badly Akira wanted to go. "Okay, then let's head to the greenery." Josh grabbed a smaller, fleece blanket from the closet and slung it over his shoulder while walking over to Akira and taking his hand. "Alright, let's go." Josh whispered.
Walking out of the door, he looked through the hall and didn't see anyone awake. Sometimes the janitor would decide to clean up early in the morning, but it seemed even he was sleeping. Making their way down the hall, Josh smiled a little more while whispering. "I think going to the greenery is perfect...thank you for suggesting it." |
Akira thought actually about garden outside.. but he didn't ming greenery at all. Both were pretty and full of plants and flowers so why should he mind. Nodding his head with a small smile he followed his boyfriend. When he saw Josh smiling he knew he done a good thing. 'No reason to thank me..' It would be Akira's pleasure to go there with Josh after all.

Josh slightly misinterpreted Akira, although despite that he had his own plan of going outside to the garden. The blanket on his shoulder was just to make sure Akira wouldn't get cold once they got outside. Looking at his boyfriend write, Josh smiled a little more and kissed his cheek.
"I have all the reason in the world to thank you." Josh whispered alongside his ear before focusing where he was walking. The thought of being there was very relaxing, and he came to the idea that it was possible for one, or both of them to fall asleep. If so Josh had no doubt in his mind he'd carry Akira back to their bedroom. It would end the night off almost perfectly if that were to occur. |
