"I'm 143 years old." he said not sure why he was embarrassed telling Shiro that. "Hold old are you Shiro?".

"Oh. You're much older than me", said Shiro, really surprised. "I'm only 67... Maybe for humans it is much... but for elves I'm... a young male."

"I'm still pretty young in demon years as well, most demons arnt considered adults till the age of 300. So I'm not an old man just yet" he said laughing

"Oh... 300? Th-that is kind of... stunning. Why so much? Are demons living for so long?", he asked, tilting his head a bit.

"Demons in the underworld can liver to the age of 1000......but in the human world it's rare to live past 250......." he said suddenly sounding quiet sad. He looked down he only had another 107 years left, if he's lucky.

"Why? Why they can't live longer?", asked Shiro, frowning from what he heard.

Our demonic aura is what our life is, the oldest demons have the strongest auras and the dark energy in the underworld is what keeps it from fading. In the human world.......that dark energy isn't here.....so our aura fades...and when it does.......we die." tears fell from his eyes "Iv only just met you.....it's not fair knowing I'm going to die knowing I only have a limited time to be here with you. I used to welcome it when I was alone, but now....." he was crying as he spoke.

Shiro was observing the other male falling apart. He wasn't taken aback with it or anything since he realised it must be hard to be all alone, feared and banned from the place he born at. The elf smiled softly and rubbed the muscled arm slowly.
"It's still a lot of time. Time... in which someone can find a solution to your worries", he said simply.

He calmed down and took a breath "your right...I'm sorry for losing my composure. How about we go inside and I make a sweet treat for us." he said with a smile.

"It's alright to not to hide your feelings around me", he said while walking inside and looking back, smiling. "Sweet treat sounds like a good plan."
