So the bloke claimed he'd been attemptind to impress a guy he had the hots for, but whom he'd never met before. "This kid really has the cheesiest pick up lines ever!" Katsuragi thought, as he refrained from laughing. He seemed to find the entire situation quite amusing. Whatever the guy's game was, he'd deffinitely managed to lure Katsuragi out of his shell.
The big buff life guard couldn't recall the last time he'd had a longer conversation with someone. Well, at least more than the usual "Hi, how's it going?" or "Please read the rules carefully, before going in the water!" He was the strong, and silent type, thus, he'd never indulge in long talks, or would never chit chat with anyone, as he found those activities to be distasteful and counterproductive. He liked himself just the way he was, and he liked to always keep things to himself.
But this young man appeared to be a delightful conversationalist, truly versed in the art of seduction, and that of beating around the bush. "He must really think I'm more brawn, than brains, or intelectually impared, or something."
Katsuragi liked to be blunt. He'd "tell it to their faces" so to speak. He tried to avoid people such as that guy, a regular full time double talking champion. Had it been someone else to pull that idiotic and dangerous stunt with the board, he'd have simply confiscated the item, then ignored its proprietar for the rest of his shift. But this dude was different from everyone else. Katsuragi couldn't put his finger on it, but he could feel it, somehow...
Truth was, Katsuragi had actually come to enjoy that "I want you to give it to me, but I'm too shy to ask you directly" game, the intrusive young man had started.
"So, tell me kid, what does your mystery man look like? Perhaps I know of him, and I might be able to put in a good word for ya'!"
