Alex shrank back completely terrified. "I-I-I-I" He stumbled before falling to his but and hugging his knees to his chest and hiding his face in them as he shook.

Mason sighed. The kid had a rough day, the last thing he needed was more people yelling at him. He crouched down and sat next to the feminine looking boy. "Look, I'm sorry. I really fucked up back there. I should really be thanking you. You saved my life." Mason told him. "But those people, they're not going to be happy I got away. Those people aren't good people." Mason added. "Thanks again. And by the way, I'm Mason."

Alex sniffled softly and looked up when he was thanked "I'm Alex..." He said softly, his eyes red and tears still flowing abit. He used his arm to rub his eyes as he took a few deep breathes "I.. I wanna go.." He said softly, he didnt want to go home yet but he didnt want to stay here. He was scared the men would get him here.

"I know you're name's Alex. We have two classes together, and I sit next to you in both of them." Mason told him. "Don't tell me you've forgotten." Even though he was short-tempered, Mason was a relatively caring individual. "Look, no one's going to get you in school. They'd be stupid to enter a school to get either one of us." Mason said. "Look, if you'd like, you can skip class with me next period and we can go grab something to eat. Protect each other. Sound like a plan?" Mason asked.

Alex listed to the other and blushed while mumbling "I didn't forget.." Though infact it did leave abit due to his fear and stress levels being so high. When listening to the other he nodded shakily "I..I'll go.. With you.." He said warily as he looked to the other with a bit of fear "I.. I am not use... to people.." He added as a nervous warning.

Mason stood up and extended his hand for Alex to grab to get up. "What do you mean you're not used to people?" Mason asked him, brushing his black bangs out of his eyes. "There's 8 billion people in the world. How are you not used to people by now?" He continued. "And where do you wanna eat? I'm starving. Almost dying really gets me hungry." Mason added. He knew he should probably be more considerate towards the femboy, but being soft with him wasn't going to help him learn anything.

Alex didn't take the hand due to the words and stood, turning away from the other male "I was homeschooled...Never allowed to play with others..." He said softly, ashamed and really stressed he walked away.

Mason got a bit angry when the kid walked away. "So you're not allowed to play with others, and the first chance you get to actually spend time with someone, you just walk away?" Mason asked, confused by the kid's actions. He was really frustrated and was about to walk away when he sighed. The poor kid was having a rough day. "Come on. Let's go to lunch. I'll treat you." He told him.

Alex was confused himself, he had no idea how to act. When his Dad was fustrated he walked away and his Mom would just fallow and give in and hug him. Mason was like that minus the hug so it made him feel abit better but still warry. He shook some and offered the other boy his hand abit. Unsure if it would be ok now.

Mason grabbed the kid's hand roughly as they traveled through the school. Lunch was over and people were already class, so there was no one to make fun of either of the two males. Exiting the school, Mason led Alex to a nearby pizza place so they can grab a quick bite. "Go order. I'll get us a seat." He said as he sat down at a table near the windows. He put his backpack on the seat next to him and pulled out the package, putting it on the table. "What the fuck could be in here?" He asked himself, not sure if he should open it or not.
