He shook his head. "It's fine. I enjoyed myself here. This is my first time being in a tea house. I would like to come back here again." he written with a smile on his face. When asked if there was something he like to do. He nodded his head, but didn't know if he would like to come along. "I'm sorry to ask you of this. But do you know where I can find a place know as a book store?" he asked with a curious look on his face.
"Are you sure?" He asked, biting his lip lightly. "Really?" He smiled, happy that the other male thought so. "What then?" Alex asked when he nodded. "Hmm, I think I do know one around here. I can take you there if you wan to." He offered with a smile.
The dark elf slightly lowered his head as was a way to say thanks and that he is grateful.
Alex smiled lightly. "Well, come on then." He said with a smile and took the other's hand, taking him outside. Glad to have some fresh air again, even if he'd only been inside for two hours. If he could, he would probably just set up a tent somewhere in the forest and go live there.
"O-oh, I'm sorry." The blond muttered a little flustered and let go of Razi's hand. A small blush noticeable on his pale cheeks. "I-it's this way." He said softly, starting to lead the way to the bookstore. |
Razi got up as he did. His cheeks turned purple as they walked out of the tea house. His heart was racing and his hand was shaking once more. Until he was let go. Then he notice the blush on his cheeks. Making him blush more. So he then followed Alex behind quietly.
Alex was chewing his bottom lip lightly, a bit nervous. Great, now you've probably scared him, way to go Alex. "So uhm, w-what kinda book are you looking for then?" He asked, trying to break the silence, well, as good as you could do that when you're talking to a mute person. "Here it is." He said with a small smile after about ten minutes walking and held the door open for the other male.
When asked what he was looking for. He wrote in his notepad. "I'm looking for something that can teach me something called sign language." he wrote down with a shy timid smile on his face. Once inside. He looked around. With so many books. He became very lost. Not knowing which way to go.
"Oh, wait, uhm, maybe I can help with that." Alex said with a thoughtful look and went to the female standing behind the counter. "Excuse me miss, could you help us? My friend here, uhm, can't really speak." He started, feeling it'd be rather rude to call him a mute. "Do you happen to have any books that could help him learn sign language?" He asked her.
Razi followed him to the counter and looked at the woman. But he was shy so he stood behind him, like he could hide. the woman smiled and nodded her head. She told the two of them where they could be find and how they could get there. Razi slightly bowed and the woman said you're welcome. then the dark elf looked at Alex and wrote in his notepad. "I'm sorry if I am bothering you. You been helping me so much and I've done so little. I haven't been much of a friend. Is there something I can do to make you forgive me?" he wondered and frowned a little. He did look deeply worried.
Alex frowned a bit as he read that. "Hey.. Why would you be bothering me?" He asked, shaking his head. "That's what friends do, help one another." He stated with a small smile, placing his hand on his shoulder. "Just be my friend and you aren't going to be forgiven because you didn't do anything that you should be forgiven for, Razi." The blond said with a reassuring smile.
Watching place his hand on his shoulder. Hearing that he hasn't done anything to make him forgive him. He's just used to that. For when anything went wrong in his home land they blamed him for it. By seeing him smile did cheer him up. He smile back at him to say thank you and that he was glad to hear that from him.
"Good." Alex smiled. "Now I don't want you to be sorry for something you didn't do again, okay?" He asked, wanting to make sure the other wouldn't do that again. Since it would only make him feel bad about something he probably didn't even do. He couldn't help but feel somewhat mad at the people that had made the other male feel that way. But he willed himself to stay calm as it sure as hell wasn't Razi's fault they'd done that.
Razi little a little shock at first, but then he smiled and nodded his head. For he agreed to not blame himself for something he didn't do. It will take some time. Since it's been drilled into his mind that most things were his fault when it wasn't. With that. Razi wrote in notepad. "Well is there any books you want to get? I'll pay for them. As a way to show you my thanks." he told him with his smile getting bigger.
Alex smiled as the other agreed. "Ah." He blinked as the other offered to pay for the books he wanted to get. "Really, there's no need to. My place is almost a library. I don't really need any more books. But thanks for the offer." The blond said with a soft smile.
Razi tilt his head to the side. "Well alright, but if you change your mind. Please let me know or if you spot something you like I'll get that for you. It seems that they don't only sell books here." he wrote down. Which was true that also sold little things here and there. Such as puzzles, snacks and those short of things. Once they made there way. He spotted the books that he was looking for. Then he turned to Alex. "Tell me. Will this help me talk to people better. If I were to learn this?" he wondered. Looking at his with an innocent curious look on his face.
Alex nodded. "Alright, I will." He said, following the other male to where the books were that he was looking for. "That would depend on if those people know sign language too, which I doubt since most people are too lazy to learn something like." He stated with a sad smile. "There are some people who probably know it, but I don't think much people do."
Razi looked really disappointed to hear the news. So even people in this world didn't like to listen to people who didn't had a voice to speak with. He let out a silent sigh and his shoulder lowered. Placing the book back down. The way he looked, he looked like someone had ran over his dog right in front of his eyes. He was hoping that people around here were like Alex. Smart, kind and willing to read what he wants to say.
Alex frowned lightly as he saw the other's mood just sink through the floor. "I'm sorry, but I'm sure there are ways to get you a voice. There has to be, somewhere." He muttered, thoughtfully, placing his hand on the other's shoulder again and giving it a reassuring, light squeeze.
feeling the squeeze from Alex. The dark elf looked at with sad eyes, but they were fading. For some reason, he felt like every time he was with him, hope grow a little more in him. He smiled and placed his hand in top of him and it wasn't shaking for once.
Alex looked up, breaking out of thoughts when he felt Razi place his hand on his own. He smiled lightly. "We'll figure out something, 'kay?" He stated with a warm smile. "Was there anything else you wanted to do?" The blond asked him, fighting to urge to just hug the other male to death.
Razi stilled smiled but shook his head. For the reason that he came here for the books. But if no one knew it then what's the point.
"Alright, well, is there somewhere else you'd like to go then?" Alex asked, still with a small smile gracing his features. "Thanks for your help miss." He said with a small nod to the lady before leading the other outside again, sighing softly once they were outside.
Once both were outside. He thought of where to go. Then an idea popped into his head. "If you like. Do you want to go to the park?" he wrote in his notepad.
"Yeah, sure, I'd like that." Alex said with a small smile. "Do you happen to know the way? I keep forgetting." He said with a sheepish grin.
Razi nodded his head and lead him to it. It was rather large and many people were out enjoying it. The trees were lovely this time of years. When the leaves were changing colors. Being here lifted his sprint. It was so calming but cheery that it be hard for it not to.
When they got there, Alex closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath, noting to himself that he should try remembering where the park was since it was quite lovely here. "It's nice around here." He said softly, looking around a bit and noting that the leaves of the trees were changing colors. That meant winter was coming, winter was fun, you could make snowmen and have snowballfights.
Razi walked up to one of the trees and looked up. Where he was from. Even when it was warm. The leaves on the trees always stayed the colors that they were now. Even if he knew little of it, he still misses his home. Hearing the music they played, the smell of the wine they make. Sure he was making some at the warehouse. It still was missing the taste of the special wood cauldron they used. As he stared off, without knowing it. A leaf fell off the tree and landed on his face.
Alex sighed somewhat contently, he liked being out, a lot. He slowly gazed over at the other male and tilted his head to the side as he seemed to be thinking of something. He couldn't help but chuckle lightly as the leave fell on his face. "Hey Razi? Are you alright?" He asked, plucking the leave off his face.
He looked at him wit the leaf in his hand and blushed. Again turning purple. "I am fine. I was just thinking of home. The leaves were likes these hanging. I was remembering home." he wrote in his pad.
Alex bit his lip lightly. "Hey, I'm just wondering, but why did you decide to go live in that empty warehouse?" Alex asked, sure it couldn't be to safe in there.
Razi looked around the park. Wondering how to explain that. Then he came up with an idea. "I lost my home and have no money to get a new home. I barely make enough to eat" he told him. It was some what truthful. In a way he did loose his home and making money was a little rough on him. "but enough about me. I like to hear something interesting about you."
"I'm not interesting." Alex said with a weak chuckle. "I'm just the nice guy that likes writing stories, beign out in nature and works in a teashop." He said with a small shrug. "If you'd need it, I still got an open room in my apartment, I always have some food in house. So if you want it, you could have the room. There's enough space." He stated as he felt bad about Razi living there alone.
His eyes sparkled when he heard that he writes. He wonder what he wrote and would he let him read any of it. Since he doesn't have TV, most of the time he reads. But mostly the files that were left at the warehouse. But when he popped the idea of living with his, his heart sank. But in a good way. For it sounded like a wonderful idea. "But I'm really short on money. I wouldn't be able to pay rent." he wrote in his pad once more.
Alex shook his head. "There's no need to pay rent, my parents owned the place. I got it they.. Well, passed away." He said with a weak smile. "S-so? What do you think?" He asked, hoping he'd say yes since he'd been rather lonely there after his parents died. Of course his friends dropped by very often, but that didn't change much, they never stayed long enough to actually take the feeling away.
Hearing that his parents passed away, made him remember his parents. But there wasn't much to remember about them. Since he hardly got to see them. When asked again he smiled happily and nodded his head. For he agreed to love with Alex at his place.
"Great." Alex smiled brightly, the thought of his parents quickly fading. "I could show you the place right now if you'd like." He offered, sounding rather excited. He was so happy he wasn't going to be living there on his own anymore.
Razi mutely chuckled and nodded his head. It be good to see where it was. So that he may know his way when he moves his things in.
"Alright, uhm-" Alex stopped for a moment, trying to remember the way back home from the park. "A-ah, just a second." He said with a sheepish smile and a slight embarrassed blush. He bit his lip lightly, trying to remember his way from the park.
Razi didn't mind the wait. He looked around as well and wondering maybe he could help somehow. So he wrote in his notepad in big letters "Looking for his place. Please help us." it said with an arrow pointing at Alex.
Alex couldn't help but chuckle lightly when he noted the other's attempt at trying to help him. "That's nice of you, but I'm just a bit disoriented." The blond said with a small smile. "But I do believe it was this way.... I hope." He muttered the last part, hoping he remembered it right.
