(That's okay. I was busy updating my ideas thread anyway. I made it all colorful. :3)

Vladimir stood from the bed and followed. "Yes. The carriage is big enough to hold us both, but it's small enough that it doesn't put too much weight on him. Even so, he's rather strong."

Daemon nodded and opened the door to the room. "I don't doubt him. He seemed really strong when I first saw him"

Vladimir walked out of the room and waited for Daemon. "Most people assume horses hate to pull carriages, but Nightwing had done it for so many years that I think he enjoys it."

Daemon chuckled. "Well alright then, that's really good. He's a rather nice horse. I'd love to have him as a family member. He reminds me of Eveny." He smiled fondly at the old memory.

"Eveny?" Vladimir asked as he walked with Daemon down the hall and down the stairs. He saw how the young man smiled at the memory and was curious about it.

Daemon nodded and smiled. "Yeah, Eveny was a kitten that I adopted when I first realized my parents left a lot. They left me alone often and it was really lonely. I would get scared by everything and anything. I saw this little black kitten on my way home from school once. He followed me all the way home because I pet him a bit. He never left so I decided to adopt him. I raised him to the full grown cat he was. He died of old age."

Vladimir smiled as he pulled his cloak on. "That's so heart-warming. I love cats...I've found them more attractive than dogs."

"I love animals in general, but Eveny was special because he was just a kitten when I found him and I had to raise him from a little thing into the cat he was. It's like family. I do love cats thought, they're more affectionate than dogs... Wild dogs are scary." he shivered at the thought of the wolves that had been chasing him. He really didn't like to think about it, but when they thought came to him, it just didn't sit well with him.

Vladimir walked over to him and gently took a hold of his face gently. "Daemon..." he said softly. "they're not going to hurt you."

Daemon blinked as Vladimir grabbed his face. It was rather comforting to know he wouldn't be harmed by the wolves again. He nodded. "Alright.. I trust you. I guess I'm going to have a fear of wolves now, even though I used to like them." He sighed heavily.
