Akira looked up at Sangre and then down, his eyes getting a bit teary. 'People are scary..' The young servant looked now a bit like a scared puppy. He was even trembling a bit while his green eyes looked down.
The moment he saw Akira's reaction, and what he had written, Sangre got up and moved so he was sitting beside the young man, wrapping an arm around his shoulder and pulling him against his side, whispering to him so only he could hear. "Yes, they are Akira. People have done horrible things to you, some are heartless and mean, and scary, but some aren't as bad." Sangre smiled very faintly and looked down, wiping beneath Akira's eye.
"You met me, Josh, Harumi, even a few of the servants. None of us are mean to you right?" Sangre wondered. "People outside of here can be the same. You just haven't had the privilege to meet good people when you grew up only around the bad." Sangre spoke, knowing only vague amounts of information on Akira since Josh didn't want to tell him the details. It was his privacy, and if Akira trusted Josh with the information, the male had no intention of telling everyone else. |
Akira flinched when Sangre sat next to him but felt a bit better with his arm around him. A bit safer. Then he shook his head. No, so far no one was mean to him. Then he remembered about their neighbor. She wasn't unpleasant.. and didn't yell. So it really would be reasonable if there would be more people like her yet it didn't change how he felt about going outside.. 'I'm scared..'
Carefully, Sangre used his hand to move Akira's cheek, making it so the other male looked into his blue eyes while he spoke. "You have every right to be scared. There is no reason for you not to be. But me and Harumi will be by your side, we won't leave you for a second." Sangre smiled softly before continuing. "And if you would like to, we can hold hands tightly, so that you know we're beside you always." Sangre said, still not forcing Akira, but he had a choice now if he wanted to or not, and the chef knew it would be good for the young man to leave and shop for food, something he probably never had done before.
Akira was a bit surprised when his head was rised up. Looking into Sangre's blue eyes and listening to him made him feel a bit better though he still was scared. He didn't really have any choice. Master would be angry.. or at least not happy if he wouldn't go. And Sangre tried so hard to calm his fears and all.. It would be rude if he would say no right now, right? Akira tensed up even more as he started to write. 'Just don't let me go, please..'
Sangre let go of Akira and frowned when he saw him writing that, feeling guilt for wanting him to come even though he was nearly begging not to due to fear. After a few seconds, Sangre nodded his head and sighed. "We'll be with you, but remember, we aren't forcing you to do this. Although…it's really brave of you, to even consider it." he muttered, although right on time he glanced at Akira's phone, hearing it vibrate.
After finishing breakfast, Josh had went to his bedroom before another meeting, texting Akira in the process, asking him 'Are you okay?', trying not to be concerned over his anxiety, knowing all too well how bad it would be if he went outside. |
He jumped when he heard the phone vibrate. With how tense he was it wasn't really strange he reacted to nervously on the simple sound. For him it sounded really loud. Reaching for the phone he read the message and wrote quick 'yes'. Master didn't need to worry about him, he already had enough things to deal with. Akira would be the last person that would want to add him any more stress.
Josh hesitated, seeing the message sent back to him and sighing beneath his breath. He didn't know if he was being honest or not, although trusting Akira enough Josh nodded to himself and texted back.
'Okay. Text me if you need me. I'll be in a meeting for a few hours. I miss you <3' Josh sent it just in time to hear someone knock on his door, clenching his jaw and walking out. "I'm coming." he snapped while walking past the man and going to the main hall. Sangre looked at Akira for a moment longer before he took his arm off of him and nodded. "We're leaving in half an hour. If you change your mind, let us know. Would you like me to help you with anything?." Sangre smiled faintly, being rather relieved, but like he said, he couldn't imagine forcing Akira to go there, it would only scare him even more. |
Not wanting to talk anymore about the shopping he then decided to ask since he didn't know what could it be. 'What does it mean?' And then he draw the sign of heart that Josh sent him. Waiting for the answer he tried to push his fear on the back of his mind.
Looking at the message with a surprised look on his face, Sangre then let out a soft chuckle when he heard him ask that, smiling a little bit before looking into Akira's eyes. "Well…it's a symbol for a heart. I guess he's just sending you a little bit of love." Sangre said teasingly, letting out a faint chuckle from how adorable the question was, and just how the other male probably looked from the information.
"You should send one back to him maybe." Sangre offered with a shrug, not knowing how their relationship really laid when it came to 'love'. It was even something him and Harumi didn't say to one another yet. |
