Actually it felt nice to have something so cold around his ankle and Akira sighed with relief. And then he remembered about what master said ealier. 'No, Master. I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that. I didn't mean Master.' Josh was so good for him so why would he want him to leave? And after rescuing him two times.. Akira felt safer with master around. He nervously added. 'I didn't want disrespect Master. I'm sorry.'

The sound of relief escaping Akira’s lips caused Josh to smile once more. As he looked to see what he wrote, he shook his head with a light sigh. “Good, because I don’t want to leave you alone.” Josh chuckled lightly but then smiled.
“It’s fine really. No disrespect taken.” There was a subtle knock at the door before the familiar redhead walked into the room. Sangre smiled ever so slightly at the two men and placed their food next to them both. “Thank you.” Josh muttered to him as the man bowed and resumed to exiting the room. “Hope you’re hungry.” He muttered to Akira. |
When master chuckled then smiled it made Akira calm himself. After all it did mean that Josh wasn't angry at him. When he saw Sangre entering the room he waved to him. When he heard what the cook said he nodded and making sure the man was looking at him he wrote simply. 'I am. Thank you, mister Sangre.'
|
Sangre smiled softly and waved back. “You’re welcome. I hope you both enjoy.” Quietly exiting the room, the chef gave one last wave before closing the door.
Looking at Akira, Josh smiled slightly as he placed the food in front of them both and picked up his fork. “I’m glad you’re comfortable with him. It would be nice for you to trust others other than myself around here.” Josh said while looking at his servants torso and muttering. “I’ll have to check your ribcage after you eat. I’m not a doctor but I should ensure the healing…if you would allow me to.” Finally taking a bite of his food, Josh leaned back against the bedpost and sighed softly. It was nice to eat finally. |
'He got worried when he saw my scars.. and somehow.. I'm not afraid of him anymore..' Akira didn't understand his reaction but somehow.. Sangre had that air.. or something.. around him and young male felt comfortable. Or was it just because he was the first human to be ready to help him.. even if it mean reporting his own master? 'It's okay, Master.' Looking at the plate he once again saw something he didn't know. He tried it and it was so good that it made him smile softly. 'What's on the plate, Master? I don't know it.'

Josh glanced at Akira, seeing what he had wrote and nodding slowly. Sangre was just a little older than himself, and he seemed to be extremely trustworthy. Josh wouldn’t dare hire someone that seemed unreliable.
“I’m glad you feel that way.” He smiled. “If you aren’t in the greenery, Sangre wouldn’t mind a helping hand in the kitchen either. Maybe he teach you how to cook a few things.” Josh added. Of course he wasn’t sure Akira would want to learn how, but there was the option if he wanted to. Once he took another bite, Josh looked at Akira, seeing him eat the food and smiling at his question. “It’s called tempura. Derived from Japan. This one in particular is shrimp with a few vegetables.” Josh bit into his shrimp and smiked. “And the side of salad I’m sure you know of.” he then spoke while having a bit of that too. |
This time Akira was eating slower. Somehow the information that no one would take away his food seemed to settle in his subconscious. Hearing about helping in the kitchen he tilted his head and after few moments he nodded. That would be interesting.. though it would be hard because he didn't know anything about cooking. His future seemed better and better and it was just like master said - with time he would be more and more useful. 'It's really good, Master.'

Leaning back just a bit more, Josh inclined his body against the post and sighed. It was nice to relax, he might do it a little more than he should but there were other needs for someone of his social status other than paperwork.
Eating slowly, Josh looked back at Akira, glad to see that he was enjoying what he was eating. “I’m just glad you aren’t a picky eater.” he replied. It was a blessing to see that Akira ate everything he received without any complaints. As he was beginning to finish up his food, Josh focused back on Akira. “We have medication here for pain…if you ever need it.” he said spontaneously. |
How could be picky eater with a food so good as this? Akira looked at master questioningly but he seemed glad adn serious about what he had said.He focused on his meal once again, enjoying every bite. When he heard master speaking he looked at him and asked himself why Josh telling him this all of a sudden. But he just nodded his head. 'I will remember about that, Master. Will you go after we eat to ready yourself for miss Elizabeth arrival?'

A few minutes passed, allowing Josh to finish his food and this time he did before Akira. It was definitely a first. Standing up from Akira’s bed, Josh placed the plates atop of the dresser for the time being before looking at his servant once more and nodded slowly.
“That would be a good idea. I’d have to get ready so that I can speak with her and show her around….” With a deep and heavy sigh, Josh stayed standing up, looking suddenly stressed out. “We’ll probably have to talk about next month. Our wedding is scheduled on the fifteenth…” Josh clenched his jaw. He couldn’t allow it to happen but…how was it possible for him to stop it? It would be difficult to just call it off or postpone it without people asking why, especially since he already rescheduled it so he could ‘plan a little longer’ a few months back. |
