Montagne grabbed his head and threw him back down as he growled out "Did I say you could stand up Wench?!" His anger was back at the mere thought of something happening to David. He put his foot on the back of Elias's neck, pinning him in place.
"So... Sorry sir." Elias begged. "I didn't mean to insult you."
Montagne smirked and pushed off of his neck. "Just remember your place," he said, sitting down at his desk.
"Yes sir, my place is here on the floor."
Montagne smirked and sat back. "You belong at your captain's feet," he said, raising Elias's chin with the toe of his boot.
((Timeskip?))
"Yes, sir." Elias replied. |
((Sure.)) Montagne smirked and let him drop back to the ground. He made Elias sleep in a corner until they came near to Hawthorne's estate. They put him back in his clothes and Montagne shoved him onto the deck. "Time to fake your escape," he said, the men laughing as one of the bigger men stepped up.
Elias nodded. "I'm ready, sir." He said, before walking to Hawthorne's mansion. He knocked on the heavy brass knocker.
Hawthorne awoke. He had slept late, and was very grumpy. He padded downstairs, and opened the door. "Josephs? You're alive?" He gasped. "Yes... I escaped. Listen, sir, they're going to be attacking soon, so if I were you..." "Josephs, me and David have worked out a deal. Just take him, and when his father comes back, hide behind him." Hawthorne replied. "David? Elias has come to pick you up!" He called. |
David came out, cleaned up with his hair pulled back and a sword at his side. He leaned against the door and smirked. "I'd listen to him Commodore," he purred. "My father will still attack as he planned. It's a matter of honor now."
"Doubt it. All he wants is you, correct?" Hawthorne replied. "And besides, Elias defected. I can't trust him."
