Akira was way to overwhelmed to see or understand that he was feeling up until... Josh wrote that. It wasn't about it and he needed to 'say' that. 'It's not like that... I just don't want to disappoint you..' Once again Akira showed just how much other male's opinion weighted on everything he decided on... or thought about..

"Disappoint?" Josh frowned, not knowing why he'd think something such as that. Although Akira always used his mind as a crutch, thinking that something meant one thing, when it in fact meant another. Josh ran his fingers along Akira's back and began to talk to him a little more, trying to make him understand.
"I'm not disappointed with you whatsoever Akira. Why would I be? You have a sore throat, yes it sucks you can't speak for four days, but I'm not upset with you. We'll have to wait, but once its over you can speak to me as much as you want. Besides. We've been apart a few days, I don't want anything coming between us from now on." Josh said as he squeezed him close to his body. |
Akira shook his head at what he heard. 'I meant.. there's no sex for another four days, so.. I... am useless..' Still the young male wasn't able to voice out everything he was so worried about ti be able to cry... be it was there.

Josh looked rather surprised momentarily before he shook his head. "Akira. I love you. Not only for sex. Look into my eyes and tell me I'm lying when I say that to you. You can't…because I'm being honest." Josh kissed Akira's cheek and tried to tell him the truth. "It will be difficult. But your health means more to me. Besides, as long as I can cuddle you each night, I can manage no sex for a few days. Honestly, I'll be content with just having you in my arms." Josh said softly. "I promise."

The green eyes looked up at the other male, observing him. Then he rubbed his eyes and shook his head slowly. 'Would that be really enough?' That written he looked back up at Josh, the green spaces still filled with some of the tears.

Josh took a deep breath and put his hands on either side of Akira's cheeks, touching his damp skin and leaning forward, so that his forehead was pressed to his boyfriends. "I promise you it's enough. Just as long as you promise me you'll be by my side the next four days, letting me have you in my arms whenever possible." Josh smiled vaguely, knowing sex wasn't the same, but in all honesty the health of the person he loved meant way more than the pleasure they shared.

Akira flinched when his cheeks were touched all of a sudden but then smiled as he heard what was said. He nodded his head few times as his eyes were trapped in the maroon spaces. One of the slim hands reached up and stroked Josh's chest softly.

A soft smile appeared on Josh's face when he saw Akira nod his head, only to have his hand on his chest. "Good, then I'll be happy." Josh whispered, kissing Akira's forehead and running his fingers across his cheeks a little longer before then going to his hair, trying to fix it up a little bit.
"Let me know when you're ready to go. Maybe you can take your medicine before we leave." Josh suggested. |
Akira really liked the way those warm lips felt on his forehead. Then he nodded his head at the suggestion. It sure would be good to take the medicine as soon as he would be able to. 'We can go whenever M..' Akira stopped his hand and corrected himself. '.. you want..' It was such a strange thing saying, or rather writing in that case, the word 'you' instead of 'Master'. It was like bending something inside himself whenever he corrected himself.

Deciding it would be best, Josh placed Akira onto the bed, grabbing some water to follow up with the medicine, and then returning shortly after. Reading what Akira had written, it made Josh falter a smile, realizing he had corrected himself. It was so easy for him to feel proud of the man, and it was evident he was trying his best to change his old habits. It was commendable.
"You're doing amazing with correcting yourself." Josh said softly as he sat beside Akira, giving him the small cup of medicine as well as a cup of water. "It'll taste bad, and might sting a little down your throat, but it'll help. Drink the water to get the taste out of your mouth, alright?" Josh instructed as he watched Akira carefully. |
