Akira was simply listening to everything, tilting his head a bit. So.. everything would be okay? Aunt Christine would accept that Josh loved him? And then there was that about work. What could Josh do? Then he realised that he didn't know really what jobs there were, other than those obvious like maid, cook or butler. Because of that he listened intently, wanting to know more about it.

"What jobs could I get in the area? I'm not going anywhere far." Josh said, clearly serious about the discussion.
Christine looked around, biting her lip and perking up a few moments later. "The grocery store for one. The stables are looking for someone as well. Ah, and a blacksmith but that's a bit farther north." She said softly in thought. "I thought I could go with you, if you would like me to." Josh took a deep breath, turning slightly and looking at Akira as he whispered to him. "Would you be okay if I left everyday for a little while? For a few hours…then I'd be home." Josh wondered, knowing Akira might have a lot of questions, but he most likely was holding them back due to the amount of people in the room. |
Akira was quite amused when he heard about working in grocery shop. Sure he knew that was kind of a job as well.. but someone so important working there? It was.. stunning idea. When Josh turned around and asked him if he would be fine being left alone he blinked in surprise. Although he should get already used to be asked about his opinion... it felt new every time that was happening. The blonde male nodded his head. 'It's something Mast.. you need to do. I'll read.. or help Sangre..' He was a bit anxious feeling that he was observed but it wasn't really bad.

Josh smiled, sighing in relief and kissing Akira's lips, in front of everyone. It seemed so different, but such a nice, new thing to do. "You're the best." Josh whispered to his boyfriend before then focusing on his aunt and sighing. "I'll try it out. Go look around and see if anyone is hiring, see if I have the right requirements." He muttered, hoping he wouldn't be chosen simply because he was a Prince. He'd just have to leave that out of the interview.
Christine then looked at Akira and asked him something, making Josh worry slightly as the attention was on him momentarily. "You look very nice. Tell me Akira…do you love my nephew as much as he does?" She asked, being sincere, showing no vindication whatsoever. |
Akira blushed quite strongly when he was kissed on front of everyone. It wasn't like he didn't like it... but it was so embarrassing! Hearing that he's the best made him look down shyly. First when Josh's aunt spoke up he thought it was said to his boyfriend that he looks nice though when he heard Christina saying his name he looked up. Really stunned with a question he stood there still and then it was like small explosion, the way his neck, cheeks and ears became red. He looked down on the floor and nodded timidly. Then he remembered that the way he was acting had effect on the way Josh was looked at. He rised his hand and he wrote a bit shakily. 'Yes, I do madame.'

Christine smiled softly, seeing how he was flushed and looking away, trying not to make eye contact. Although when he did she could see he was almost forcing it in a way, making the woman smile faintly.
"I believe you. And call me by my name. You will be future family someday." Josh looked from Christine, to Akira, holding onto his left hand and rubbing over his palm with his thumb. "We're together for the long haul. And he's making me proud each and every day." Josh muttered softly. "Yes, he seems to be doing better compared to you mentioning how he was before. I'll leave us to have something to eat, we'll speak at the table. I'm sure Sangre would like a helper." Christine smiled and looked over at the redhead who was waving Akira and Josh over. "Come on, let's go to Sangre." Josh whispered near Akira's ear as he walked over to the kitchen. |
His heart was beating really fast when he was standing like that, waiting for something to be said. Then he nodded his head. He would call the woman by her name if that was her wish. Then Josh made him even more embarrassed.. and really, really happy when he said how proud he was making him. Simply too overwhelmed with everything he just followed Josh, his eyes still on the floor. The way he was dressed, his hair braided and everything changed so much was making him nervous.. wanting to run to his room and hide somewhere. But he simply couldn't.. and that was making things even worse.

Josh glanced at Akira, noticing something was wrong. As he got to Sangre, the chef only had to look at both men for a second before he cleared his throat and nodded towards Christine. "Hey Master, go ahead and talk to your aunt a little more about the job search. I'll stick with Akira and let him help me." He smiled, showing in his eyes what he really meant by it.
Josh slowly nodded, his eyes going from Akira, to Sangre. "Good idea. I'll be back soon…" Loosening his hold around his boyfriends hand, Josh let go and walked towards Christine, leaving the chef with Akira. "Hey." Sangre whispered, wrapping his arm around Akira's shoulder and pulling him close to his side, rubbing his shoulder softly. "You're going to be alright Akira. If you want to talk to me about anything, I'm here for you, always will be." Sangre smiled lightly as he tossed the vegetables a little more and stopped, grabbing the pasta and straining it. "Want to help me? Maybe it can get your mind off of things." Sangre suggested low enough only for Akira to hear. |
It surprised him when all of a sudden his hand was let go. Too into his thoughts he didn't hear what both males said. But before he was able to run after Master he was pulled close to Sangre. Oh.. so it was so evident he was nervous? He wondered if he could tell Sangre.. then he remembered all the times he helped him and decided to go with it. 'I feel.. nervous.. because ... everything is changing..'

Sangre kept cooking, using one hand to toss and dice, adding some herbs into the sauce and stirring it before he had a moment to relax, letting the food simmer. When he looked back at Akira, he read what he had written and smiled lightly. It was nice to see him express how he felt, especially since Sangre liked to be there when the young man had no one else.
"I think you have a very good reason to be nervous for that. Lots is changing for you…I mean, your clothes, your status, now that people know about your relationship with Josh." Sangre stirred the noodles and then looked back at Akira. "It's scary isn't it?" He asked before then tilting his head and speaking once more. "But do you think it's a bad kind of fear? Or good?" Sangre then wondered. |
