Family? He was observing others as they rised their glasses with wide eyes. It wasn't like he didn't know what they were doing but it was the first time he saw it for real. Blinking some he took the glass, just as Josh wanted him to. Sign of manners and good health? That was the first he heard of it. As it ended he saw others starting eating and he looked on his own plate. It was so pretty.. it always feel bad to start destroying something like that. He liked the colour and how the igredients were put to each other. Trying to memorise it Akira thought it would be nice to put it on the paper. Even if only in greys of a pencil it would look still really nicely.

As the others ate, Sangre had his eyes on Harumi until he saw Akira looking at his food rather then eating it. It made the chef chuckle lightly, finishing up a few words with his girlfriend before clearing his throat and speaking in a hushed tone towards Akira.
"Hey Aki, something wrong?" Sangre wondered as he swirled the pasta on his fork, making sure he got a little bit of meat on it as well. |
Akira's green eyes went up as soon as he heard the question. He actually blushed softly. 'No. I just.. thought it looked too nice to mess it up by eating.. and well.. that I would like to draw it..' The last thing was written while Akira looked down, quite embarrassed and knowing it was probably stupid of him to think like that. Food was food after all.
|
Sangre looked surprised, seeing what Akira had written. In all honestly he found it quite amazing, to hear he wanted to draw it, especially because Sangre saw food as artwork, just as Akira saw drawing as his own art form.
"That would be amazing." Sangre smiled, clearly happy with what he had written. "How about sometime, when you're in the kitchen with me, you can draw while I cook. We can both kind of make our own artwork I guess you can say." Sangre said, rather excited by the idea. Josh smiled, watching the two and shaking his head as he ate his food quietly, exchanging a few looks with Harumi, showing the amusement in both of their gazed. |
The green eyes rised up once again, showing just how surprised his owner was. Then Akira smiled warmly and nodded his head eagerly. He should know better. Sangre's feelings went deep into his cooking. 'I would really like that.. I mean I can only draw it using pencil.. but it still would be nice if I could draw it.. If that wouldn't bother you of course..'
|
"No that wouldn't bother me at all. I'd love that." Sangre smiled widely in response. "We should try it sometime this week." The redhead smiled as he took a bite of his food.
Josh looked at Akira, reading what he had wrote before then cocking his eyebrow. Now that he thought of it, it would be nice to get Akira something to colour, and maybe even paint? Josh smirked lightly and ate his own food, taking a few sips of his juice while looking at the others. |
Nodding his head, still smiling, Akira took the fork and started to eat. Once he took the first bite he couldn't stop before everything on his plate was gone. He then looked at Sangre, his lips a bit dirty from the sauce. 'It was delicious.'
|
Everyone finished around the same time, some earlier than others although they spoke amongst themselves. Once Akira had finished his food, Josh did the same, glancing at his boyfriend and kissing the side of his lips to clean off a little sauce.
"Thank you. Can't wait to teach my little sue chef few more recipe's." Sangre smiled. Josh raised his hand and looked over at the chef while speaking. "That reminds me. You have any extra cook books?" He asked while wiping his mouth with his napkin. "Of course." Sangre smiled. "I have a few I think you two would like." The chef stood up, grabbing everyones plate and bowing his head, saying 'you're welcome' to everyone who thanked him. |
Akira felt a bit happy whenever he was called a sue chef. As he heard Josh's question he remembered that they were supposed see if there were any recipe that would be good to do when they would be alone. Green eyes followed the red head as he took the plates, curious what would be there in those books.
|
Sangre put the dishes into the sink, soaking them so it would be easier to cook later on, and then going into his lower cupboards where he had at least ten books, full of tabs with a few added ingredients that Sangre had decided to add in, making it taste a little better.
Bringing over five, Sangre put them on the countertop nearby and patted the top. "These are my favourites. Really good cuisine. Italian for this book, Chinese for this, ah this one is a mix." Sangre said as he pointed to each. Josh smiled and stood up, walking over and spreading the books out, looking through some pages. "Look Akira." Josh said softly as he gestured for him to come over and look. |
