He he continued pacing for a few more seconds before stopping at Shiro "He talked....." he said pacing again "Well not here he didn't......he and I shared a dream and we talked.....we didn't get the chance to say much but he talked." he said stopping and staring at Shiro again.

"Now that is interesting. Does he remember it too?", inquired further Shiro, slowly waking up.

"yes I asked him last night and he responded by touching my hand with his paw......is this normal? We don't understand what's happening." he said frowning and sitting at the edge of the bed and rubbed the to of Ares head.

"I don't know any details and I lack the right books since no one thought that there would be any demons in this word. Yet... it is kind of logical that if he can uderstand you then he is capable of more complicated thinking process than normal animals. What's more it makes him much more than animal... So continuing this way of thinking... Ares can speak as well. Hmmm.. That is a very interesting case...", said Shiro, the last thing muttered more to himself than to anyone else.

He slid down to the floor "don't worry we will figure all this out." he said smiling at Ares.

"We will. There is no doubt. At least Ares have now something he can call home", assured Shiro.

"not only does he have a home.....he has a family." he said scooping up the wolf cub and hugging it gently. He stood up and smiled "Whos hungry?"

"I sure am", said Shiro with a soft smile and closed his eyes.

He went to the kitchen and reached into the bag that already replicated more eggs and started cracking them and threw some bread into the oven and toasting it. He went out side and grabbed a bunch of oranges and brought the inside "I love that garden." he said to himself as he juiced the oranges. He coocked the eggs on a pan and put them on two plates and grabbed the toasted bread as well as pouring the fresh juice into two cups before grabbing a fork and brought one plate and cup into the bedroom "eggs over easy with toast and orange juice." he said smiling "I'll be right back I gotta grab my own plate."

Shiro changed his position on the bed, helping himself with his elbows instead of his hands. Taking the plate from Alexen he flinched in pain but still was able to do that. Although it was a simple thing it still made him happy.
"Thank you. After my hands will get better I'll try to contact my teacher and ask about Ares", he promised.

"Ok thank you." he said as he walked back into the room with his plate and cup. He watch shiros hands "their getting better, do you still want help?"

"It's still hurt to bend them but I'm better..", he said and then paused for few moments. "It would be better if you could help me.."

"Gladly, whatever you need." he said placing down his plate and taking shiros. He broke the yolk in one of the eggs and soaked it all up with a piece of toast. He held the toast up to Shiro's mouth.

It was new way of eating for Shiro but he kind of liked it. Smiling he took the first bite. Having his breakfast in the bed without need to stand up and doing it himself was something that he really started to appreciate.

He didn't mind doing this for Shiro, to be honest he would do this for him even if his hands were fine. "you know when your hands are better would you be able to teach me more about the salves and creams you make?" he asked feeding Shiro another bite.

"Ah! I knew it. I had that feeling that I forgot about something... Yes. Of course. Bring me the book with green cover and gold letters from the lab. Of course after breakfast...", he said, adding the last thing when he realised his mistake.

He laughed "yes of course after breakfast. he helped Shiro before eating his own. Alright lemme bring all this to the kitchen then I can get the books.

Shiro was right now so relaxed... It was so long since he took the things easy. Could he move a step farther and ask Alexen for a massage. He felt guilty only thinking about it so he decided not to do that.

He came back with the books Shiro described "your body still sore?" he asked placing the books down on the bed and sitting down.

"It is much, much better.. Now open the book on the page.. thirty three. From here to the page ninety one.. you need to remember them all. They are necessary plants needed for all of the healing potions. It is important to memorise how they look like and with what you can't mix it with..", he said, observing the demon's reaction.

He opened the book and turned to the page and couldn't believe how many plants their were "there a lot of plants, how do you remember them all?"

"Years of studies. I wrote that book. I still check some things now and then but mostly I have it all in my head", said Adam, smiling.

He was shocked "you wrote this?....wow it's a huge book it must have taken you a very long time." he said flipping through the pages. Shiro was amazing he just suprize do him more and more each day

"It did. But it is my job... and I love it", he said with a passion filling his voice. "You would be a first person learning from it. I really hope you will enjoy it."

"I'll do my best to learn this stuff, I want to be able to be of use in case of an emergency you know? If you got hurt I wouldn't know what to do....." he said a frown forming on his face.

"That is really sweet of you", he said, his lips forming in a warm smile.

He blushed a tiny bit at that and turned his face down towards the book to try and hide it. "so....when your hand are better mabey we can go out and you can show me where you find some of these herbs."

"Gladly. If you look closer in the book there are written down some details about when it is the best to cut each of the herbs mentioned. I really enjoyed gathering this konwledge. That is the first reason I decided to be a scholar and worked really hard to achieve my goal", he told Alexen and smiled happily at the end.

He looked through the book a little embaressed, he didn't receive much more then just basic schooling so he didn't understand some of the bigger words he was seeing. "ummmm Shiro I don't understand some of these words." he said feeling kind of stupid.

This time Shiro didn't have any problem with noticing Alexen's feelings.
"Oh? That is fine.. I'm sure if you would start to share with me your knowledge from something concerning fighting we whould find words that I don't know as well. Just show me and I'll try to explain as good as I am able to", he said simply, quite serious right now.

He nodded and sat with Shiro pointing out words everyone and a while as he read. "this is all very interesting." he said as he checked out the different plants and uses.

Every time Shiro was able to explain another word made him happy. After all what would be a scholar without being able to explain things to others?
"I'm really glad you think so", he said thruthfully.

He smiled he found something that both and Shiro were interested in. "It my take some time, but I look foward to learning all that you can teach me." he said happly

Shiro looked at Alexen and then chuckled.
"You already have something that everyone wishing to learn should have. Enthusiasm and the will to learn. With that I'm sure there is nothing that could stop you."

He grinned "I never thought I was smart enough to learn stuff like this, but if you think I can do it then I know I can." he said flipping to the next page.

"I'm sure that you will be able to do that", said Shiro, knowing that if the demon was able to remember all the cooking recipes then there was no way he wouldn't do the same for herbs and mixtures.

He smiled and began reading the book intently, for once eager to learn something. "So how did you discover how what mixtures do what?" he asked looking up from the book.

"By experimenting hours after hours. It took a lot of work but it was worth it. And please don't ask any further about experiments... I am not allowed to talk about it with others", he said softly.

He frown and looked down "I'm sorry....." he said looking back at the book and turning a page. He didn't understand why it was such a big deal to talk about, but it wasn't his place to ask.

"There is nothing you need to apologise for. I just told you before you asked about it. It is all fine. It's just a vow of mine. I hope you don't feel hurt?", asked Shiro, observing Alexen's reaction.
