So there weren't many romances with two men? Akira was happy to learn just one more thing. He then glanced up at his boyfriend, looking a bit like a very happy puppy, and smiled. 'I would like to see it.. especially since Mas... you seem so interested.' Then he realised just how bold he was with what he said and blushed, a bit embarrassed now.

Cocking an eyebrow, Josh smiled with what Akira had written, especially when he had written his name. It made him feel a lot better, and instantly Josh rewarded his boyfriend with a kiss to show he appreciated it. "Then that's what we'll watch." He whispered, clicking the video, allowing it to load and sitting back, putting his arm around Akira a little tighter and smirking. "Comfy and ready to watch?" Josh asked, then thinking it would be better to grab a drink of some sort so that they wouldn't need to get up during the movie. "Hm, how about popcorn? You ever have that before?" he asked with a smile on his face.

The green eyes blinked when he heard a name popcorn. He knew both words but.. what did it mean together? 'No.. It has a strange name.. Is it really popping out corn?' And how could one eat it since it was popping out? Curious eyes stayed still as he waited for an answer to his question.

Josh couldn't help but to chuckle when he mentioned the popcorn, smiling lightly and shaking his head. "Not quite, but kind of. It's when you take the dried kernel of corn, and you heat it up. It pops inside out and creates popcorn. Usually butter is put on it, and its eaten when watching a movie." Josh slipped his arm off of Akira, kissing his forehead and walking to the intercom as he asked Sangre for popcorn and two drinks. He waited at the door for about five minutes, hearing a knock and answering it.
Josh slipped a bowl of popcorn inside on a tray with two large cups of iced tea. Bringing it to the bed, Josh put Akira's on his nightstand, doing the same for the one on his side, and then putting the popcorn between them. "Try one." Josh whispered before playing the movie. |
Akira's eyes opened wider as he heard explanation for what a popcorn was. As Josh stood up he stayed still there and waited patiently. As his boyfriend was back he looked on the strange white things and put one inside his mouth. Chewing it he decided it not only smelled delicious but tasted as well. 'Can I take a bit more?'

Josh smiled, happy to see Akira liked it, making sure the bowl was in the middle so both could share. "Of course. We can both have some as much as we want. Go ahead butterfly." Josh kissed the side of Akira's head, putting the laptop on his thighs and leaning against the backboard of the bed, playing the movie and keeping as close to Akira as he possibly could as he himself stole a popcorn and popped it into his mouth.

As it all started Akira remembered about popcorn for a bit but as the action went on he stilled, sometimes even forgetting to blink as he was watching. Although the plot was easily to guess just like in most of romances for Akira it was a mistery and surprised him here or there since he just barely knew people and it was his first movie. His cheeks were flushed all the time as the movie lasted. What he was seeing was like.. an entirely different word. There were so many jobs, people, sights, feelings, frustrations. As the movie ended he stayed still, entirely overwhelmed with what he saw.

As the movie played, Josh watched as he usually would, although he knew Akira was beside him, and he made sure every once in a while to glance over at him, give him a quick kiss on the cheek, while rubbing his arm. By the time it ended, Josh thought it was pretty good, not the best movie but he enjoyed it.
Glancing at Akira, Josh was slightly concerned, seeing the look on his face. "Hey, you okay Aki?" He asked, putting the bowl to the side as he placed his hands onto Akira's arms, rubbing gently in slight concern, unsure as to what his expression meant. |
The green gaze rested at Josh's face and then Akira closed his eyes for few moments. He shuddered as he tried to calm down his sudden fear. As he got a hold of it, even if only a bit, Akira opened his eyes and looked at Josh. 'There's so many things I don't know about.. Jobs, places, people, feelings, normal troubles.. It's.. scary.. and overwhelming..'

The moment Akira explained what was going on, Josh sighed softly in a sense of relief, but nodding his head in understanding. He should have known the movie would have brought up such feelings, the young man had barely any experience with life outside of his own, so it was all new to him, a lot for him to absorb.
"It's hard to comprehend, I know, but you'll learn as you age with me. I'll make sure you aren't oblivious to anything anymore." Josh pursed his lips, stopping for a moment and wrapping his arms around Akira, hugging him tightly, wanting to try in some way, to help him feel better. |
