Character Profile

Physical appearance: Tall, medium build, light skinned, long blond hair, blue eyes;

Alignment: Bounty Hunter;

Weapons: Sword, whip, bow and arrows;

Abilities / Devil fruit: Warrior's fruit. It gives him enhanced visual acuity, stamina, balance, agility, strength.

Weakness: The fruit does not make him invulnerable to the harmful effects of any man made weaponry, so he can be stabbed, shot, poisoned, captured, even killed if he is not careful. His enhanced abilities do not necessarily guarantee his victory in a combat situation.

History: It was on the day of the Cherry Blossom festival when a merchant found an abandoned new born on the beach, wrapped in nothing but an old dirty blanket. The man had no children so he took the baby in as his own, naming him Sakura, after the beautiful cherry blossoms. He raised him to be kind, honest, caring, selfless, humble, and instilled in him a strong sense of justice and morality. As he grew into a fine young man, Sakura gradually came to learn he wasn't really the merchant's son, so one day, he decided to go, and search for his real parents, to find out why they had abandoned him. His adoptive father tried to stop him from going on such a dangerous quest, but seeing how Sakura was so determined he gave him money, food, and clothing, and wished him luck on his journey, hoping he'd one day return to him safely.
While passing through a town, Sakura learned that a very valuable item had been stolen from the temple, and managed to capture the thief and retrieve it. He refused to be compensated, but the monks didn't want to let him go empty handed, so they gave him a mysterious fruit, the only one of its kind, which had been brought by pirates, over a century ago. The fruit was still fresh as it was the first day it was brought onto the mainland. Sakura was intrigued by this wonder. He ate the fruit, and discovered the new abilities it gave him. Seeing how he needed money to survive on his quest, he decided to become a bounty hunter, and retrieve stolen, or lost objects, people or apprehend dangerous criminals. He is more of a pacifist and values life above all.

Equipment: Maps, tools, sleeping bag, a small pot to prepare his food, or his tea.

Aww (blushes like a yaoi fangirl) that was very sweet of you to say so. Oh, Imma add a whip to his weapons, but he's not gonna use it to hurt people. Hope that's ok.

Abilities/Devil Fruit: Denotation Fruit- allows the person who ate to create objects in to bombs and dentate them at will. He is proficent in sword fighting but as a long range fighter he only uses it at critical moments.
Devil Fruit Flaw: He has to be in contact with what he is going to detonate so he cannot detonate thin air the larger the object the long it takes him to make able to dentate. His mastery of this skill is still incomplete, so he has much to learn. (Think of Gambit)

Short History: Kyoshiro was born in a small port town in the Southern Blue. Born into a low income family, Kyoshiro had always wanted to be able to live like people of high society and hated the suffering of not having much money brought to his family. Working as the appertince of a blacksmith, Kyoshiro made his own weapons own his own time, and through this he learned about One Piece. One day, a man left Kyoshiro a tip, a fruit, for his excellent services. Kyoshiro had made a order of 250 swords for the navy and this was his payment. Kyoshiro was angry at first, but decided that something to eat would make him able to carry on for the rest of the day. Kyoshiro learned of his powers when he was smithing a piece of metal and as he threw it away it blew up. After that Kyoshiro decided, that using his new powers he would find One Piece so he could help his family.

Kyoshiro has always been cunning, and is very tatical that is how his parents would describe him. He is loyal and doesn't allow anyone to hurt his friends that is how Aya, a friend of Kyoshiro, who he protected from a bully when they were young. Kyoshiro has just began his journey so he is the only member of his crew and possess a small boat.
Equipment Info: The surkien Kyoshiro possess are special ones that he made they are extermely light and dull so they don't pentrate the skin or amour. The kunai are exteremly sharp and little more heavy than the shuriken. The paper planes are used as a distration but they can explode as well. The sword is a short one, and is made more for defending than attacking, it was created by Kyoshiro's teacher.

Yay! Snope said she'd be back a little bit later. Maybe she'll post her character bio then. Can't wait to see what she'll come up with. That makes six players so far. Wow!

Amazing :D I didn't think it would be this popular lolz. But I got almost everything ready, trying to find a map of where the RP will take place mainly.

Well, it can be the sea, the desert, the tropical forests, doesn't matter, it would be great if it were a long and awesome adventure. And your character would have to steal something from some rich pieces of garbage, to have so many people tailing you, lolz. Plus the wrong impression people have about some pirates, so they'll hate your character, maybe not all of them, but most of them will, and stuff.

So there's gonna be Snope, and Prince, and me, chasing you, then it's gonna be monsterrrr, and Jack-L. Lolz, you need some friends as well.

Weapon: His own body. Is a practitioner of Rokushiki, but has not mastered it fully yet.

Devil Fruit: Mythical Creature Zoan Devil Fruit, Ryu Ryu no Mi (Dragon Dragon Fruit)

Devil Fruit Flaw : The fruit becomes a liability in cold places. Should he choose to transform he becomes substantially weaker and is unable to instantly switch between forms, the process is lengthened leaving him vulnerable. Being drenched in cold fluid while transformed will also have the same effect. He can only maintain his full transformation for five minutes and fighting in his hybrid form is taxing on this body.

Short biography: Grew up in the East Blue, considered the calmest of the seas. Vander lead a peaceful life in a family of five, helping his parents raise his two younger siblings while they worked tirelessly to support them. The East Blue proved to have its own fair share of danger though when his costal town was raided and destroyed by pirates. Vander barely managed to escape with his life and wandered aimlessly into nearby mountains where he stayed for weeks, afraid to leave in case he ran into the pirates. On the verge of starvation he acquired his devil fruit from some mountain bandits who were unaware of what it was and had it in a sack of provisions that Vander managed to steal for food. He learned of his new power when he was forced to defend himself against wild animals, nearly causing a forest fire as he did so. He lived alone wandering the land until he met Master Lucci who took in him and helped him work through the pain of loosing his loved ones. After being begged to by Vander, Lucci taught him the advanced hand to hand combat technique Rokushiki. Years later he decided to strike out on his own and to put his skills to good use as a bounty hunter.

Vander is kind, caring, and extremely over protective of his friends and comrades since he knows the pain of losing them. He can be slightly hot headed at times, though that’s usually saved for his enemies. He harbors no love for pirates, and is very passionate about his job, he generalizes them all to be same as the cruel heartless murders that uprooted his life and took his family away from him.

Man, I have no talent for character bios at all. I hope this is okay. Also I tried to balance out his strength by making him a novice Rokushiki user and by making his devil fruit power almost useless when exposed to cold, I'll change something if he seems overpowered.


(Yes, I’m stealing Vander Decken’s name because I love the sound of it and I don’t think we’ll be running into him on fishman island lol. Or maybe we will. That would be…….awkward.)
