As soon as he checked all he wanted in the internet he thought it would be good to ask Cain if he talked with Mike. Rubbing his tired eyes he went to his boss' office and knocked.
"So? What's with them?", asked Jason, entering the room. |
"Well, he says it's the assistant manager that he let take over the financial stuff for the place and that she was stealing money that was supposed to go into the funds and...yeah. It's a mess." Cain replied with a soft sigh.

Jason sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Why did he leave that to her? He was the one chosen for that not her..", he asked, rubbing his eyes. "Okay.. I'm off. Have a nice day, boss." |
Cain rose from behind his desk and walked over to pat Jason on the shoulder. "You too, Jase. You still coming to the party?" He playfully shook him by his shoulder, being gentle about it.

Jase, huh? That sounded quite nice and made him smile slightly. And damn.. Cain was really tall and muscled. When he was sitting behind the desk it was easy to forget about it.
"Yes. Are everyone meeting on the place? What's the name of the club once again?", he asked, furrowing his eyebrows slightly. It wasn't normal for him to forget something.. Jason knew it was probably because how tired he was. Maybe it would be better to go straight to home and just order something? |
""The Black Cauldron." I'll write it on your forehead if I have to." Cain teased as he lightly tapped Jason's forehead with his finger. He'd always thought Jason was cute when he was tired. He was tempted a few times to invite Jason over to his place a few times, but he kept himself from it only because it would seem a little odd...a boss and his employee hanging out at the boss' place. It would give the wrong image to a lot of people.

Jason flinched and blushed a bit when Cain tapped his forehead with his finger.
"Not funny", he grumbled, but smiled lightly none the less. "At what hour it starts?" Yawning a bit, with his lips covered with his pale hand, he decided to order something. He was too tired to do the shopping right now. Though he would need do them before the party. |
"Around eight. That's when the all the crazy party people start coming out." Cain replied as he put his hands in his pockets. "You gonna be okay going home? You got food in your fridge this time, right?"

"This time?", he asked not really knowing when was that 'other' time when he didn't have it. "I don't but I'll order something. Wanted to go shopping but I'm just too tired for this right now."

Cain paused. "...why don't you come over to my place? I can cook you something."
