"I love you, Chris... I really, really do."

"I really, really love you too..." he whispered quietly, laying down next to the man.

"So... What now?"

"Well... I haven't thought this far ahead, but I'm pretty sure we miss our last classes" he turned over, casually propping up his head on his elbow. "It's also friday, which means we've officially entered the weekend... pretty good start, huh?"

Lewis grinned. "I was thinking we could pick up my little brother from school, and go to mcdonalds or something."

"Sounds like a plan... we never really got to have lunch, well... you know what I mean" he laughed, blushing a bit at the joke.

"But, listen, like you say, sooner or later, we have to tell Diana. It's only fair, right?"

Chris nodded, releasing the side effect to his whole 'just you and me for now' solution he had presented only a little while ago was not a permanant one. "Ya... ya, we do. It wouldn't be fair for us not to, and if we're gonna do this..." -he waved a finger between the two of them, symbolizing their relationship-"We should start it out on the right foot."

Lewis nodded. He stood up, and started putting his clothes back on.

Chris followed, making sure he wasn't missing anything when he was fully clothed. In his mind, gears whirled and sparked as he tried to think of how this was going work, this new found attachment between himself and the greatest friend he had.

Lewis grabbed his keys off the hall table, and, like a true gentleman, held the door open for Chris.

"Thank you, Sir" he replied, giving him a nod of gratitude before heading out the door. "Which vehicle should we take, mine or years?" he asked, drawing his keys.

"Mine. Toby loves it. He thinks it's a ferrari, for god's sake!" Lewis grinned, shaking his head.

The blonde grinned as well, "Ah, boys and their cars" he mused, "But who knows... maybe someday it might be."

Lewis shrugged. "Hopefully. Hopefully, we'll have a nice house together, you know, all that stuff."

"Only time will tell" Chris wondered, "Now come on, Toby won't wait forever, he loves his older brother's 'ferrari'!"

Lewis grinned, nodded, jumped into his car, and started the engine.

Getting into the passenger, buckling up as they set out. For a bit, he just stared out the window, enjoying how everything looked as they sped by. "So... any idea on what you want to do after we get out of school? It's getting close."

"Well... i did have an idea..." Lewis replied, as they pulled into the school parking lot. He honked his horn at his younger brother, who hopped in the backseat. "Hey, Lewis. Hey, Chris." He said.

"Oh, what's that?"

Lewis opened his mouth to speak, remembered Toby was sitting in the back, and closed it.

Nobbing, Chris understood and turnd his attention to the young boy. "Hey, how was your day?" he asked, "didn't slack off like your big bro, right?"

Toby laughed. "Nah. It was pretty good. Lewis, i got big news! I've got a girlfriend now!"
Lewis turned to the young man. "That's great! Whose the lucky lady?"
"Kennedy Wake. Say, isn't that Diana?" Toby replied, pointing out the window at Diana, walking hand in hand with Cole Ryan, Lewis's rival. Cole had his other hand down Diana's top. Lewis stopped the car next to her, honked his horn, and rolled down his window.

Chris jumped at the name, not to mention the sudden stop of the car. Turning to Lewis, then to Toby, and finally the pair before them. "Lewis?" he turned back, confused as to all this came about, but more importantly, what exactly the reaction would be. 'How could she...'

Lewis got out of the car. "Hey! Just what the hell do you think you're doing?"
"What does it look like, bitch?" Cole replied. Lewis punched Cole in the face, knocking him to the ground, before turning to Diana, and saying calmly "It's over. All i'm gunna say." Before walking back to the car and driving away.

'I can't believe Diana would... and with Cole!' leaving his thoughts, he turned to Lewis as they sped off. "Lou... you okay?" yes, it was a stupid question with an obvious answer, but this had to hurt, and his heart ached when he knew Lewis's was.

"Chris, for such a smart guy, you really can be quite stupid sometimes. How do you think he feels?" Replied Toby.

"Trust me, Toby... I'm well aware" he nodded, more to himself than anyone else, "Just... just try not to think about it Lewis, that was wrong of Diana and completely out of left field. I mean... it's gonna be okay, sure the punch was one of dealing with it, but... come on, talk to me."

"Well, i guess that saves us some trouble, doesn't it, Chris?" Replied Lewis, sheepishly.
"What do you mean, trouble?" Interrupted Toby. Lewis turned to Chris, and asked "Should we tell him?"

Chris blushed a bit, "Can he keep a secret?" he replied.

Lewis nodded. "Toby, i never loved Diana. In fact... do you know what gay means?"
Toby's mouth dropped open. "Holy shit... i know a gay guy! Do you have your eye on anyone?"

"Well, that's way to say it" Chris smiled, laughing to himself at the reaction, it was a refeshing. "You could put it that way" he teased, making the answer vague but still a little telling.

"Yeah, I do, Toby. I have a boyfriend." Lewis replied. "Who? Who? Please, tell me!" Toby begged.

The blonde's heart fluttered when he heard 'boyfriend', it was a title he had always wanted. "I'll give you a hint... he's closer than you think" the teasing continuing as he watched the world fly by out the window, taking subtle glances at the driver.

"Chris, are you gay too?" Toby asked.

"Yes... Yes I am" he declared, though his voice cracked as he spoke, both enjoying and fearing the phrase.

"He's my boyfriend." Said Lewis.

"Surprise" he jested, giving the younger brother an enthused look, "Do I get approval? I promise I won't cheat or date any of Lewis's arch-enemies!"

"To be honest, Chris, i can't think of anyone else i'd rather my big brother went out with." Toby replied.

"Thank you, I can't think of anybody else I'd rather date" he said with a smile, placing a hand on the driver's shoulder. "So, anywhere you guys want to go and eat?"
