He suddenly felt very stupid. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you. How about this you tell me something you really like to eat and I'll cook it for us, and I can bring dessert. he hoped he didn't upset Shiro too much

Shiro took few longer moments to calm himself.
"You didn't upset me.. just really startled.. and the idea about the dinner sounds good", he answered.

He let out a sigh of relief. "Do you like roast duck if you do I can make that for dinner, and what would you like for dessert?" he really didn't mind cooking, it was one of the few things he was accually very good at. "Be completely honest name it and I'll make it." he didn't care how long it took to cook he wanted to make Shiro happy.

The elf actually chuckled at that.
"I'm not picky so just any dessert would be fine. I'm happy you are willing to cook for me anyway", said Shiro softly, quite happy.

"Alright I'll get everything ready, I'll see you in a few hours." he said grinning ear to ear. He said and hung up. He ran into the kitchen and grabbed all the ingriedients need to make strawberry shortcake and started cooking. After a few hours he was done making the cake, he made fresh butter cream frosting and used fresh strawberrys. Grabbing a container he boxed up the cake, then boxed up all the ingredients need for dinner. He quickly changed into a tight black long sleeve shirt and black dress pants. He grabbed everything and left for Shiro's.

As the conversation ended Shiro smiled to himself. It was refreshing to have someone to talk to and have nice time with. So far he didn't have anyone like that in this realm.

After walking for what seemed like an hour he had finally made it. He knocked on the door when it opened he couldn't help but smile "Hey Shiro.".

He was surprised when he heard the knock to his door. Shiro was a young elf so he didn't know that demons were able to move really fast from place to place, finding paths in the time flow to make it possible. That only the older ones knew how he didn't know as well.
"This place is ten hours from the nearest town... I'm surprised that you were able to get here so quickly", said the elf, inviting Alexen inside.

Iv got my secrets he said with a wink. He thanked Shiro as he walked inside. He walked over to the kitchen placing down the boxes he moved the cake box over so that Shiro couldn't see what it was. "Would you like me to cook now or later it's up to you." he asked politely.

The elf smiled yet once again.
"It depends on you. Though.. I can feel something sweet... is it in that box you brought?", he asked curiously, tilting his head.

He smiled and stepped infront of the cake "no it's a surprise, now you go relax while I cook dinner." he unwrapped all the ingriedients and began cooking. Every once and a while he turned around to make sure Shiro wasn't sneaking a peak of the cake. He cooked for about 5 hours. When he was finished he called over Shiro "It's ready, dinner tonight is roast duck with a apricot relish and mixed vegetables.

In the mean time Shiro busied himself with other things. Behind his home was a small garden, protected by a magical barriers. That was a place any vegetables and such was coming from. Tending to them everyday was calming and a bit fulfilling.

"Shiro dinner is ready" he said a bit louder to get Shiro's attention.

Shiro looked up and then behind only to see Alexen looking at him from the kitchen window. Nodding his head to show he heard he got up and went to clean his hands. Smiling he then headed to the kitchen, taking in the heavenly smell.
"I'm so hungry.. What did you cook?", he asked, looking at the pots.

He smiled "Tonight's dinner is roast duck with an apricot relish and mixed vegetables.. He repaired two plates and set the table grabbing two forks and two knifes. "Dig in.".

"That sounds great.. And so far one could think you are a cook not the warrior you said you are", he teased softly the other male.
Sitting down at the table he observed demon curiously.

He blushed "When you live on your own you gotta learn to cook." he said taking a bite. He waited for Shiro to take a bite.

Shiro took a bite and simply sighed in delight. The thing in his mouth felt perfect.
"T- that is just.. too good for simply learning to cook", he protested. "You have talent."

"Well I enjoy cooking it keeps me calm, and thank you I'm very glad you like it.". He said with a big smile. "So how was your day?" he asked taking another bite

"Quiet as always. I wrote down what we saw yesterday. I read and now was taking care of my small garden. You know... you are much better in cooking than me... though I'm really good at gardening", he said, shrugging and enjoying the food.

"I'm not very good with plants, they always seem to die." he said scratching the back of his head. When they were finnaly finished eating, he sat back patting his stomach "That was good.".

"That was great", he corrected the other male, finishing eating as well and then added jokingly. "Can I hire you as my personal cook?"

"If it means I get to see you everyday then I'll do it for free." he said with a smile. "Would you like to go for a walk before dessert?"

The eld blushed softly at that.
"That.. that sounds like a good idea", he said, feeling a bit shy about it somehow.

"Wonderful, let's go.". He opened the door "After you." he said smiling.

It was a nice surprise when the demon opened the door for him. Going outside he he took a deep breath and then listened to the forest.
"It will be raining soon..", he said barely audibly.

He thought he heard Shiro say something but he wasn't sure. he looked at Shiro "Are you ok?" he asked placing his hand on Shiro's shoulder.

"A- ah... No. Everything is fine. Let's go..", he said, shaking his head. "So.. you live with humans... don't they get scared with how different your eyes are? No human has black and red eyes.. Do you mask it with magic?"

"Alright then let's go He frowned a bit as they walked "No glamour magic I can't use, never really was any good at magic. There is only one spell I can use though. Temporal shifting, one spell every warrior needed to learn, it allows us to move long distances instantly. I'm still not very good at it I can move ten to eleven miles in an hour." he said. "Humans are either too scared to come near me or want to kill me." he said with a laugh to mask the fact that it accually upsets him.

"So how are you able to live in the city?", he asked, frowning and then added. "And your ability seems really useful."

"I live away from most humans, I live in a rundown apartment complex but I'm the only one who lives there. It gets lonely but it's better then dealing with people all the time. And I can't use that spell often, I only use it when I have a long walk ahead of me, like today I didn't want the food to go bad so I used it.". He felt some water hit his face "Uh oh looks like a rain storm."

"Yes. It is lonely..", he said, not disturbed in any way by the rain. "You know.. in my house... there is place for a second person..."

He looked at Shiro surprise, did Shiro just invite him to live with him? "If you don't mind living with a demon, would you mind if I lived here? he asked with a gentle smile. The rain started coming down hard, it accually felt nice.

"I wouldn't mind. And you're a person for me not a demon. I can build another room or two for you. That's not a problem", he said, letting rain run down his face.

He touched Shiro's face and smiled. "Your too kind I'm happy with whatever you give me.......just being with you is enough to make me happy."

Shiro flinched when he was touched all of a sudden. Then he blushed.
"T- that.. that sounded like con- confession", he said, blushing up to the tips of his pointy ears.

He stepped closer to Shiro not moving his hand "I guess it is, isn't it.". He looked into Shiro's eyes "I need to know Shiro, do you feel for me the way I feel for you?".

"W- what? I've.. o- only met you..", he protested and stepping back... only to trip a fall on his behind with soft gasp.

"I see.....I understand." he reached out his hand to help Shiro up. "We should head back." not making eye contact. "You go on ahead I'll catch up, I need a minute.". He walked away and once out of Range of vision from Shiro he punched a nearby tree snapping it in two. He let out a sigh and turned around and began walking to Shiro's house.

Shiro was too shocked with everything to not to listen to Alexen. Walking back he was thinking intensively. Elves were pretty open minded about relationships but the young elf was new to things like that. So far only observations and learning was in his life. Well.. sometimes going out with his few friends but that was all. Still flushed he rubbed his neck. We would need to talk about it all..
